  The company or the workers doesn’t know what they have in stock. I called them after the order and they said that they do not have Studio/EFP cameras in stock, but when I asked why they are writing in the website that they are in stock they said that oh yes they are in stock. After few days email was received that they are not in stock. Company is confusing customers about the stock, but the glasses in my case came on time, condition and everything else is ok

  Today I went to ask for advise about my camera as I had focus issue with it. The person who approached me tried too help me, but then the owner appeared and asked me to leave if I'm not planing to purchase anything from their store. This is very rude way to approach the customer. I will definitely won't buy anything from Madison Avenue Cameras in New York. Not with this attitude.

  Excellent Customer Service I placed an order for next day delivery and all was going well until the parcel arrived at the local FedEx depot. After a couple of days I goy in touch with Madison Avenue Cameras and they were straight on the case. The initial web chat was followed up with an email. The next day, Saturday, i received another email explaining that they were still pushing the depot for an explanation. A third email this morning let me know that the parcel was once again on the move and I received it this afternoon. I was kept fully informed all the time and felt that my issue was taken seriously and handled promptly and efficiently.

  Excellent Service with a Backorder Product after an 8 month wait my lens arrived and what fantastic service from Madison Avenue Cameras. Always answers emails with helpful replies when i asked where i was on the waiting list and a very nice person called me to say it was in and would arrive tomorrow which it did.   Got my camera repaired and serviced at Madison Ave Cameras, the staff were very helpful and a full service was done. The camera feels a lot easier to use now and I'm more confident that the buttons/dials work as they should. The only thing is that I was told it would be done in 2-3 weeks and it actually took more like a month to be done, otherwise would recommend this shop.

  Online purchase I have recently purchased a new Canon camera and sigma lens on line from this company. The procedure was efficient and easy.   Amazing experience on my online order.   Very poor packing Never answered a question i asked about firmware, and camera had very thin cardboard wrapped round it - with no padding. For an expensive camera it seems to be working ok,but i expected a lot more care to be taken. I also received no receipt for my purchase, which has never happened before with ANY camera company. The time to arrive was good and so was the price, but it seems lucky to have arrived with me in one piece.

  Brief review of the RED Komodo 6K The Red Komodo symbolizes ethereal craftsmanship. I have been using RED cameras for 10 years now and absolutely recommend to anyone wanting durability, versatility and quality. After waiting 3 months for my Komodo I was excited when it finally came and I have to say the wait was well worth it. Overall, pleased with the system.   Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm f/4-5.6 R Lens I had hoped that Olympus would come out with a zoom lens to go with my Olympus Pen F. When I saw this one advertised by Madison Avenue Cameras' and the excellent price and overnight delivery I did not hesitate to order it. That turned out to be a smart move indeed. I have a Leica zoom lens with almost exact focal lengths as this lens but much heavier and larger by far. I would highly recommend this lens to any Olympus customer.

  Overall very good experience. Picked up a brand new Sigma 16mm f/1.4 lens from Madison Avenue cameras. Their price was by far the best I could find and the lens was delivered fast and in fantastic condition. I tested it over the weekend and I am impressed. Highly recommended!

  Good service, everything went exactly as they said, delivery was on time and got updates about it often. The camera I purchased came new with no problems at all. After having used it for a week, I'm confirming tit was as advertised. Came neatly packed in all the boxes and each item was well preserved and it's an affordable camera with all the great features.   They store has a lot of stock, but the conveyer belts are lengthy (they used to be on a security spring or lead that at least you can pick them up) and most of them without batteries, so without asking for service you can’t really try them out. And speaking of the service, it’s incredibly slow, every time I have gone in even for simple things like camera batteries, it was a 10 min visit or longer.

  Questionable grading - However fast payments Pros -Fast speedy payments -Ease of use to sell products on the website Cons -Questionable grading policy. The lens I sold was deemed excellent condition, hardly used without any cosmetics defects, and Madison knocked off a considerable wedge of the price. Despite lens of a similar or worse nature with higher gradings on their website. Could not be bothered to dispute as required the money. -Courier did not leave a note regarding collection details. Had to phone head office to track my parcel

  Very happy about the service for sensor cleaning on my Sony camera. Lowest prices in town. Provided images of before and after cleaning. Also cleaned my LCD and viewfinder.Without extra charge, they updated my firmware, ran diagnostics and relayed shutter count. 90 day warranty. Sony approved. Friendly helpful staff. Quick turnaround. I won't be shopping anywhere else.

  I'm a little disappointed, to be honest. I had three items in my order, and one item, a camera bag was back-ordered. I cancelled that, and ordered another bag. Now I found the entire order was cancelled. Had I not checked, I would have wondered where the camera and filter were? I would have thought an email would have been sent to state that the order was cancelled, and did I want to reorder.

  Really good compact camera I will use this camera on fishing trips, hiking and family functions. Great price for the camera and extra lens. Madison Ave Cameras, from whom I bought the unit, was excellent to do business with. The V-Lux 7 was promptly delivered and I feel that Madison Ave Cameras gave me a good deal. Again, I am very pleased.

  Like the site, not so much the order cancellation process I was waiting for a backordered circular polariser filter to come in before a shoot out-of-state. As time passed and it was still backordered, I decided to cancel the order and get a similar in-stock item. I ordered the new filter but when I went to cancel the original order I was informed that the "request was submitted" for approval and they would let me know within 24 hrs. Approval??? Seriously?? Other sites just let you cancel if the order hasn't been shipped, and that's it. Maybe I've gotten used to great customer service, but this is annoying.

  Had my shoot saved by the guys at Madison Avenue Cameras. Real knowledgable staff were able to sort me out with a jvc gy-hm250 camcorder, despite the shortage nationwide. They also had so many other good options and tried to help me. Honestly couldn't be more happy with my experience there today! Have a lot of respect for Davies, very passionate about the products they sell and really went the extra mile to help our shoot out!

  Fantastic service. I needed to ask a relevant question and was able to speak directly to a person at the company before buying online. Very prompt shipping within 3 days.   Odd experience but overall not bad Item arrived quickly and sales team were good at answering my questions. Unfortunately the box arrived damaged and possibly the item was returned previously, as the item box had been opened.   Will recommend without reservation I am very happy with both the ordering process and my new Lighting Kit. The kit is fantastic for what I need, loved the price, very easy to set up. The lights themselves are built surprisingly well and produce a nice soft light that is great for vlogging or other types of video and photography. Great value for the money.   There's always a first time For the first time in over a decade of purchasing camera gear from Madison Ave Cameras, I encountered a telephone product expert who was less than spectacularly helpful.   My experience The site offered me a "free" $55 dollar "accessory" which would automatically be applied at checkout. For whatever reason that didn't happen, There was a promotional water bottle included that was valued at $40, per the site, I felt a bit misled. Overall I would say that the site is easy to use and well thought out from the user's perspective. I've purchased from MADISON before and found their pricing and customer service to be good.

  Bought a used Canon zoom lens. Advertised as in excellent condition at a very reasonable price. I was a little wary, but the lens arrived promptly, very well packed and looked in excellent condition. Tried it out on holiday and at a recent sporting event and the results are superb.   100% from order to arrival Ordered early morning Friday 22nd arrived Sunday morning free post on a Used Nikon AF-S Nikkor 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR Zoom Lens. Priced at $699 and described as excellent condition. Nothing was disappointed from order to arriving. As described and kept up to date all the way , not that there was any days to update. Will definitely use Madison Ave cameras again. I did want a new 28-300 but everywhere has been out of stock for months with no one able to say when new will be in, so went used and so far I’m more than happy I did. Only shot a couple of shots so far as I’m on chemo and not always got the energy.
