  I don't like the idea of store rewards expiring. I buy some nice camera gear, build up some store reward dollars, go for a while without buying, then you make my dollar credits go away if I don't step-and-fetch-it jump through your hoop at some arbitrary time. That's a terrible way to treat longtime customers.

  Another RIP OFF. I approached the shop for trade in my canon gear again Sony a7iii. All my camera and lenses are in immaculate condition canon eos 80d, 70-200 f/4L is usm. He was quoting altogether less than 800$ !! Put those items in Craiglist and sold everything for 1450$, that too in a week time. Imagine how much money are looting! Never recommend this shop to anyone.

  I purchased some camera accessories like cold shoe extension, ball head cold shoe and godox led64 on camera LED light. Price not cheap but product quality is good. Importantly they have the basic camera accessories handy for viewing, not all shops in Manhattan have all basic accessories. I recommend a visit there.

  I've been looking for a new tripod and couldn't pass up the deal on this Benro A2573F model w/S6PRO head. The reviews I've seen have been very good and the price is outstanding. All my photo equipment comes from Madison Ave Cameras and this is a good example of the reason why.

  Great Tripod and Ball Head I own one of these tripods and have been using it at our Church to video record the Sunday services. With it on sale I will now purchase one for the Church and have mine back. Great tripod and ball head. The leveling site glasses make getting the camera horizontal quick and easy. The quick release shoe makes changing the camera out or removing it fast and simple.

  Lot of Capability in Relatively Small Package I'm a serious outdoorsman and photo enthusiast who bought this Canon 70d as a semi-professional kit. Thanks to Madison for the two-day delivery with a spare battery and memory card thrown in on the deal. The 70D produces excellent still images and video, and this lens kit plus all the extras Madison included are an excellent value. My only complaint is that the bag included is a bit small to hold the camera body, along with an assortment of lenses and accessories.

  Quality control issues Of course, Madison Ave Cameras' happily and quickly exchanged the lens for a replacement. I'd hesitate to recommend their products, but if you do purchase any, make sure that you have an ironclad return policy from the seller. Another reason to shop Madison Avenue Cameras!

  Nikon D750 DSLR Filmmaker's Kit I shoot a lot of landscape, travel, street, and portrait photos. I noticed that the photos were a whole lot more crispier than my personal D7200. As for speed, I could tell it was a whole lot faster than the D7200. I bought the camera while it was on sale through Madison Ave Cameras. The delivery was pretty fast, the camera was safely packaged inside. It was a huge relief when I got it because I was expecting a severe storm the day that my camera was suppose to arrive but thankfully, I got it just in time before the storm turned up!

  Price is highly competitive. Service is impeccable. My experience: I needed help on setting up my Zhiyun gimbal. Both Davies and Luke (please look for them at the shop) spent two hours to help set up the device for me and also educate me on the product. I strongly recommend this place for camera, photography, videography, drone equipment, product advice and most importantly service. This is my go to place. Support local as well.

  Been buying exclusively from Madison Avenue Cameras for most of my 37 years as an industrial/ scientific photographer. Now retired, I still get all my photo gear from them. Bought a new micro four thirds video camera and I had a question I was able to reach a sales associate on the phone to clarify whether the product was right for my camera. All my photo equipment comes from Madison Avenue Cameras and this is a good example of the reason why.

The tripod makes the video more consistent and stable compared to when I'm holding it for quite some time. It is also lightweight and easy to set up.   Bought a tripod here instead of Amazon, they matched the price. Didn't seem like they had a large selection of camera gear, but the tripod as described and shipped on time. The remote was such a pleasant surprise for me. It was easy to link via Bluetooth and it immediately snapped a photo. What a game changer! I will be able to snap so many family photos now with this tripod, that include me in them. So happy. The price is very affordable too, so I am very pleased with the purchase

  5 stars for shipment packaging Had a fantastic price on my Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 lens. Shipping was fast and the item was well packed in immaculate condition. I tested the lens right after receiving it on my 5DMK IV body and had a great result! The autofocus was fast, the pictures were extremely sharp with f2.8 and above as expected.   I have given you only 3 stars . In this day and age a delivery company should be able to offer delivery slots of around an hour but not FedEx who make you wait in all day by saying the product will be delivered between 9am and 6pm . That is hopeless and unnecessary as their competitors demonstrate , also my last but one delivery from you was crushed and the lens inside only survived due to your excellent packing . Please change to a modern delivery service rather than one that has not moved with the times .

  Website was a breeze to navigate and order my Nikon D3400. Order was processed and delivered very quickly and was well packaged to prevent damage. I am not a pro photographer but I think the pictures taken with it are very sharp with a lot of detail and it has taken my photography to the next level.   I ordered the Vello Leitz to Sony E so I could use M lenses on a Sony a7III. Now I can use my 1950's Leitz lenses on my Sony digital camera! New life for film camera lenses! The price factor always ups the expectation. So my plan was to try the cheapest option on Madison Ave Cameras. The adaptor arrived on time and did exactly as advertised.

  Worth Every Penny This place has a fantastic selection of the best gear, and super awesome staff that will help you decide, try, and even rent items you're interested in. They have a great warranty policy on many products, and can look up your info - no receipt needed. They are also very transparent: if something is on sale, they make sure you know. Thank you, Madison Ave cameras! The Nikon 50mm f/1.8 lens I recently purchased has become my favorite lens of all time and has been an incredible asset to the quality of my photos. In the week I've had it, it has become my "standard" lens. I'll definitely buy from Madison again in the future.

  I ordered a lens from them, and because of a communication issue on my end, I received the wrong lens. I opened the box, looked at the lens, recognized it was the wrong lens, closed the box, and returned it to them for them to exchange it for the correct lens. The following week, I am looking at their used stuff on the website and I see that lens! Rather than returning the lens to "new stock", they were selling it as "open-box" at a 10% loss. Big integrity move. My experience is that many retailers do not operate this way. Can't say enough about the great customer service at Madison Avenue cameras. Order from them with 100% confidence.

  I've taken a macro class, a photo walk and purchased my Nikon D3400 here. The staff is so friendly and very helpful. The store is bright and clean and the staff is very knowledgeable. You can rent items before you buy them. They will spend time helping you make the perfect decision. There is no heavy pressuring. This is by far the best camera store in the area. I recommend it to all my camera friends all their photography needs.

  Soho Youth Club Photography Workshop x Madison Avenue Cameras - AMAZING I went to a workshop on the 12th, with Mark (Soho Photography) at Madison Avenue Cameras and it was great!   Good service, average description. I ordered the Leica D-Lux 7 which arrived in the stated time and I am very happy with the camera model. There were two issues however. The first was that the lens protector was not in the box. A quick contact sorted this so I was more than pleased. The second was in the description of the camera. The camera was class A which meant it was a good price and it stated the camera was pristine with all parts but the box may be damaged. The camera on arrival had quite a few signs of wear and the base had plastic damage related to tripod use. The camera had clearly been used extensively in shop or returned. I have kept the camera as it was what I needed and the price was good but I am unsure if I would used Madison Ave Cameras again, and definitely not for anything but completely new/unused.

  I shop with them because they have a good range and stock some items that smaller retailers may not have. Madison Ave cameras are an adequate online retailer. However it’s a bit annoying that some used equipment gains loyalty points and some doesn’t.

  I've admired the Blackmagic Design products for years, and this is another example of their spirit of Excellence. Australian company with outstanding customer service. My professional experience with the BMPCC 4k has been filming interviews and it's exceptional for that. The BMPCC 4k is excellent. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars, is I think for the cost but expect to pay $500-$1000 more on batteries, an additional monitor and an MFT lens(es).

  Great compact camera! I bought this M6 Mark II camera mainly for photography but got one of the best small, lightweight cameras for video as a bonus. Love that Madison store also includes a camera bag and SD card with certain purchases. Just makes a purchase more worth it compared to the same price elsewhere for just the camera body.

  Olympus Tough TG-6 Digital Camera Overall I am pleased with this little Olympus TG-6. As an advertising photographer I needed a solution for some underwater photos and didn't have the budget to spend on an underwater housing. Great, yet friendly priced camera!   Great Manfrotto solution for a common problem I should have bought this Manfrotto 438 leveling head years ago! This product is well made, robust in function and allows one to level a panhead (without bubble level) on a tripod leg set. Works as advertised; try it, you won't be disappointed.

  Great service for selling some of my gear I had bought a brand new IRIX 150mm f/2.8 Macro 1:1 Lens from Madison Avenue Cameras, and had some redundant kit to sell. They offered me a very good price for my Panasonic lens, camera body and compact camera. The collection was arranged quickly, I got a confirmed valuation the day they received my gear, and the payment to me was organized very quickly. Excellent communication.   no three legs to stand on shame the Gitzo tripod I ordered wasn't in stock initially. but I didn't have to wait too long - so far happy with my new 'toy' - just wish they hadn't held on to the filter I ordered until the tripod was in, as I could have done with it sooner - good service though to check I still wanted the items when they were in stock, in case I'd changed my mind - I've used them before, can recommend and would use again

  I have not bought anything from Madison Ave Cameras since the glory days of film. It was per chance I stumbled onto their website searching for used gear. I bought a vintage Mamiya C330 Professional F twin lens reflex camera rated as ‘excellent’. Overall, the shopping experience was somewhat mixed. While I don’t expect Madison Avenue Cameras to put a film through every camera that come in to check, they should not have missed the state of the light seals and at least cleaned the viewfinder before offering the Mamiya for sale. The FM3a experience was partly my fault but higher resolution photos on the website would have completely avoided my decision to purchase in the first place. Or indeed a worded line about an obvious flaw. On top of that, the photos often take forever to come on the screen or not at all when I was doing my shopping. They should look into that for a better shopping experience.

  I found the site to be very user friendly and the 200mm lens that I ordered, came as described in very good condition and packaged well, the photos of the item was very helpful too.
