  Have had pretty consistent issues with my camera, surprised to read how many negative reviews are here. Thankfully it's not enough to warrant a return - just enough to make me not buy another. Their Customer service aren't great - never any updates, always having to chase. Frustrating.

  I recently ordered a Sony ZV-1 Vlogging kit for $937 and given the reviews was more than a little worried that I might experience difficulties. I'm pleased to report it arrived via UPS as promised in 3 days from the company headquarters in downtown Manhattan and I'm really pleased with it. UPS tracking worked fine and it was a really smooth transaction! Great value and speedy delivery!

  Great service and no issues! I ordered a GoPro Hero8 directly from Madison Ave Cameras' with no issues whatsoever. Considering global product shortfalls it arrived much quicker than anticipated, within 3 days from New York to Denver via UPS. Surprised at all the bad reviews below. I love my GoPro. It’s excellent quality and I wish I’d ordered one sooner.

  Fujifilm 18-135 mm lens I have just bought a Fujifilm 18-135 mm used lens from Madison Ave Cameras' at a very good price. The lens is working well except that the zoom ring is a bit stiff towards the long end which was not mentioned in the description. The condition of the lens is good and it produces excellent photos.

  Didn't fit my needs but still descent quality. The build quality is top-notch. My lower rating comes from the fact that Blackmagic Design base-plate is the only piece I needed. The top handle is ok but limited. There are many better choices such as the Top Handle/Cheese Plate for URSA Mini that has a quick release handle, better gripping options, a shoe-mount adapter and more. The arm for the handle is way too short to be of any real use. If I hadn't been in a hurry, I would have tried to find a better mount plate/shoulder kit. But as it is, it'll do.

Had a big property to photograph at noon with my flash breaking down on my 12pm appointment - you saved my bacon !! Used to visit your old store quite a bit mainly to browse although bought a few bits. Have bought new and second hand from Madison over the years and always been really pleased.   Good Kit at Reasonable Price I purchased this kit because it was only slightly dearer than if I were to buy the 6D Mk II individually. I wasn't expecting the accompanying accessories to be as good a quality as they are, particularly the Ruggard Gear shoulder bag. Worth the extra money, and cheaper than if you were to buy these accessories separately. Package came in fast and was in perfect condition when I got it. Best purchase from Madison so far! :)

  No purchase but sound advice from Madison Avenue Cameras! I don't write reviews on a regular basis but felt compelled to share my experience with Madison Avenue Cameras in Manhattan. I needed advice on getting macro on my Lumix G80. Davies not only went through my camera and made suggestions on settings he looked up different companies that could provide macro extensions. Without making any purchase he took time to lead me in the right direction together with offering advice. It was worth going to a specialist for the knowledge they offered.

  Excellent Bargain My lens arrived on time, and in excellent condition. Madison Avenue Cameras rating is 80-89% of brand new, but this lens looks practically new to me. For roughly one-third the cost of a brand new lens, this is a fabulous deal.

  Opteka 37mm 0.3X HD Ultra Fisheye Lens Adapter I own a Sony HDR-FX7, this lens is a perfect fisheye lens without breaking the bank. I use it mostly for skateboarding and for close up shots. I absolutely love the look of this fisheye. Madison has a great return policy. It screws in directly to my camcorder's lens. It instills the fish eye effect I desire.

  Nikon 85mm 1.4G I just got my Nikon 85mm 1.4G last week and it's my favorite fashion portraits lens, especially the head shots. Bought this lens from Madison Ave Cameras to more or less complete my collection of glass. Lastly, Madison Ave Cameras ordering processing and shipping was great.   Still useful kit at great prices I bought an Olympus OM-D EM-1 mk 1 body. Very pleased with it too. It's way cheaper than the current top of the range equipment but performs almost as well, in my hands at least. I'm thinking of part exchanging some gear for another one.

  Great Budget Camera Company As retailers of inexpensive cinema cameras, Madison Ave Cameras is the best value for the money. My new Pocket Cinema Camera 4k is amazing. And in many ways rivals more expensive cameras. However, I will caution you that cameras like this have limitations. Some of which can be compensated for by spending more money. (the battery life of the BMPCC4k is extremely short and it needs a v mount to function as a main camera) but the quality is still as good as you'd see from canon for twice the price.

  Last version was way better quality Poor quality. The battery tray really flimsy in this version of the Sony vertical grip. The overall quality is way better in the last version (SOVGC3EM) but of course that won't work for the AR7IV. I'd look for an alternative and not spend the extra money on the Sony name for this product.

  Samyang 12mm f2.0 Lens This lens works great for astrophotography. You can't use auto focus anyway. 12mm is 18mm on my Fujifilm XT-10 so that is still wide angle enough for the upcoming meteor shower. No coma on the stars. A great lens at a great price.

  I bought a Tamron lens with other items included but one of the items offered was not available, the lens hood, so I was given a replacement item which did not fit and was of no use. I complained and was told that i would be given $120 as compensation. I am waiting for the compensation to appear on my credit card statement. The lens works fine but the shop do not want the lens hood to be sent back to them which is strange to me as they could provide it with the lens it was designed to fit which was the other item I did not buy as I chose the one I did purchase.

  Sony Vertical Battery Grip it is made out of a combination of materials that give it a consistent feeling as as the camera. It is solid and very well built and works perfectly. Great addition to my Sony a7rii. I have large hands and the extra surface really helps out the stability in hand. I'm glad I purchased this for my camera. Some items I prefer to keep name brand, this being one of them. Recommended.

  I love Manfrotto But I love Madison Avenue Cameras' customer serves more! I recently handed down my former Manfrotto kit to my daughter so it was time for new stuff. This kit is fantastic. Heavy duty tripod and this geared head is a monster. I recently did a large food product shoot with the old Manfrotto and while it worked fine, this geared head would have made it so much easier for shot setup and repeatability. Im very happy with this purchase and you cant beat Madison Avenue Cameras for the price.

  Madison Ave Cameras is the Best! Celestron NexStar 8SE 203mm f/10 Schmidt-Cassegrain is the best in class! Honestly, I don't know if I can make this a short review. There is so much to say! Been waiting months for this Celestron to come back in stock and when it did I had to jump on it fast. Not only that but being a new astronomer, I needed some help. So with the help of Madison Ave Cameras online tech support (Davies. F), he was able to help me navigate all the accessories I needed to to astrophotography.   First class service and fair prices I have used Madison Ave Cameras on a number of occasions, usually to exchange equipment, and have always been satisfied with the efficient way that they operate. I recently did a straight sale of equipment to them and was pleasantly surprised when they actually upgraded my own estimate of the condition of some of the items that I sent, and paid me more than the original estimate. The free next day collection of my equipment was hassle free, and the payment was made to my account a couple of days after they received it. I would definitely recommend Madison Ave Cameras, a first class service.

  I recently purchased an Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III from Madison Ave Cameras. After a few months I began o experience problems with the camera. I contacted Madison Ave Cameras, and they confirmed that the camera was still under warrantee, they advised me to send it to New York. The camera was returned within 14 days fully repaired at no cost. Excellent service from high parties.

  Not a company I had dealt with before, but I spoke to them on the phone and was reassured. Ordered a Canon RF800mm f11 lens on Monday and their assistance was great. Quoted a delivery of 3-7 days. Surprise, surprise it turned up Wednesday morning. Great price and great delivery, I will certainly be using them again.

  A SUPER WIDE ANGLE LENS Everything and more! I always rely on Madison for my photo needs and they never disappoint. Always fast shipping and great products! I love this Sigma 35 lens so much and have wanted it for the longest time. Can't wait to shoot with it more and more. I recently purchase this and I love it.   Disappointed. Traded in some kit. Told my lens had fungus so reduced offer. Lens appears on their website within 2 days and allegedly fungus free !!! Madison Ave Cameras, feel free to discuss this.

  Poor Packaging Order was processed very quickly. The camera was in a generic box, inside a larger box. Whilst there was a plenty of packing around the outside of the generic box, the 950 gram camera body - along with charger, screen protector and power lead - were free to bounce around without any wrapping at all inside it. Fortunately they seemed to survived the journey, but not impressed.

  I was after Ricoh GR lll camera but hadn't used Madison Ave Cameras' before, so had a few questions, which spread over three emails. Each time they came back to me very quickly with the answers. Ordered the camera on the Wednesday and received it the following Wednesday, which was great. All in all, a positive experience with a company who are upfront with everything. Also, received a three year warranty, free of charge, which is awesome.

  Great choice and great prices. A few problems with the website that need resolving - after I'd placed and paid for an order I got several emails asking me if I wanted to complete my purchase. This has happened before so I ignored them but a bit disconcerting the first time it happens. It needs sorting though (otherwise it would have been 5 stars)
