  I was happy with my experience with kohapet. I was hoping to find product my cat's would love. One enjoyed your product, the other 3, not so much. I had such high hopes. It's not that they won't eat it, just not as much.

  I have elderly cats (17 and 15) one of whom is hyperthyroid and has chronic kidney disease. He refused to eat prescription food. I came across Koha Facebook ad by accident and saw a very positive comment from another cat person whose cat had the same conditions. I just had to try, and ordered Limited Ingredient Chicken Pate. ALL my cats love it! And my old sick cat appears to be feeling better and is slowly putting on some weight. Between meds and this diet, I think his quality of life improved significantly.

  Great shipping speed and quality product. I would give it five stars but many cans come dented, and I read that you should not feed cats out of dented cans because of a bacteria that can develop. I still feed them from the dented cans because there would be so much wasted product. I would up the star rating if they would ensure that the cans are not dented.

  The product was easy to locate on the website. Shipping took a little longer than normal but I was made aware ahead of time that shipping delays had been experienced. The packaging was phenomenal! None of the cans were damaged in transit. Very happy with my experience! Will be ordering directly from Koha going forward!!

  My cat loves the rabbit but hates the rest. I am wondering if the cans are as small as the sample cans in a regular order. If so, the little cans of rabbit would be $3.50 each! That is not possible on a social security check.

  I love Koha Pet Food's Poke bowls. I forgot how I found them, but their poke bowls are the best wet food my 4 cats love. I like how it comes in 3oz portion and it's super cute too how it's called a poke bowl - just like the human food. also the quality is high so i definitely recommend it to other people! oh also i love the packaging

  Love koha pet products but I wish the cans didn't come dented. I am not sure if this is an issue with warehouse or shipping but with each order I get a significant amount of dented cans. I would give five stars if not for the dents.

  The first order of shredded beef I received was mostly liquid. I reached out to the company who said they are aware of some manufacturing issues with this food. I paid a lot of money for this beef soup. Their answer was too bad, it just how it is, if I wish to pay to ship it back I can get a refund. The second order was for shredded chicken, my cat has a lot of food sensitivities, after gradually mixing it into her current food she began to vomit it up. I was told I could return the remaining cans at my own expense for a refund. I was advised to make sure I packed them carefully although the boxes I received were badly damaged as were a couple of the cans breeched. I feel their customer service representative could have cared less, subpar food, oh well….”we know”!

  I am very impressed with Koha from ordering online, to the delivery and the quality of food. We have a very finicky Siamese and I tried her on the rabbit juice and she ate it Which was amazing. Again she is very finicky — one day she may like it and the next day she may stop eating it so we are trying out the chicken this time to see how she likes it. Overall happy with the company. Thank you for your dedication for healthier pet food.

  I really want to like this food for my cats because it has the healthy ingredients and the higher fat content that my kitty needs but 30% of it is filled with liquid and the pate itself is shrunken inside of the can. Walk about pet food fills their 5.5oz can to the rim and actually gives you the 5.5 oz of food it promises. Koha unfortunately gives you probably 4oz out of the 5.5 can in reality which adds to the already high costs. It also came to me in a half ripped open box because they put one layer of tape on the box and the box quality was super thin and cheap. For the price I def expected better quantity of food vs the shrinking amount of food all these pet food companies are doing because of the economy right now. Just be transparent and say you can’t afford to fill 5.5 oz cans anymore and only sell a smaller size that is actually full. And I also expected a better packing job for the price too. It’s really unfortunate cause I was really excited about this food and the quality ingredients for my cat who has special needs for his Gi system and his kidneys . Bummer

  I was looking for a quality food for my Jack who has IBD. I decided to give this food a try and I'm glad I did. Jack likes the pate and shreds a lot. But, he is picky so I keep buying the trial packs. This way he can have different flavors every other day. I wish they would sell half cases.

  Excellent so far. It was a long journey that eventually lead me to KOHA. Frankie our eldest had been having runny stools for a year and 1/2. He suffers with IBD and had been on RX food for pretty much years by now. All that was left out there was ZD wet and dry food. After a bad bout of IBD he then developed Diabetes (due to prednisone) fortunately after only feeding him wet food and getting his insulin regulated he recovered, which was such good news. Still left the issue of runny stools and on a RX food where the protein has been broken down. So a few more months went by and then he started eating less and less which then lead him into pancreatitis. Poor Frankie was wasting away and I had to do something outside of the box. So I started my research, I really didn’t want to start cooking and making my own cat food. I stumbled upon Koha…by this point Frankie just needed to eat food or things weren’t looking good for him, so I ordered a palate of the rabbit (He can’t have anything fowl) I then found out I could get it at Hollywood feed so while I waited on the that order to arrive I went and picked up some cans from there. BOY OH BOY….Our sweet Frankie chowed down like he had not eaten in forever! I just let him have however much he wanted. He usually weighed in at 16lbs when he started eating Koha he had gotten down to 10lbs…well 3 months later he is weighing in at the perfect weight for hiim, SOLID STOOLS, no pancreatitis, happier then he has been in forever and he is still chowing down with no eating issues. FRANKIE, HIGH PAWS UP TO YOU ALL!! I have noticed that there is a slight difference in texture between the small and larger cans, Frankie will eat both. Now Django loves the small cans but not fussed on the larger, weird, but as long as they are eating, I am good. Anyway all I care about is the fact there were some amazing people out there that realized even with all the RX food out there there is still irritants in those and made a food which is balanced, no filler and 96% actual rabbit. THANK YOU KOHA!! You guys quite possibly saved Frankie’s life! If you ever decide to do a dry food with no fowl, we are in. So if you too are here researching due to tummy issues etc…Try it! What have you got to lose more like what will you gain…a happy, healthier, pusscat…and NO MORE RUNNY STOOLS! Whoop whoop. Thank you Koha! 😻😻😻😻😻😻😻

  Our Vet Dr recommended food Koha for my cat since he has pancreatic issues.My cat likes the food.So I started ordering…Right away I noticed the website is nor user friendly.In New York I couldn’t find Koha food in any pet stores or order it from Chews.com or Petco.Was no choice to order on Kohapet.com.I had questions,tried to call.They want to leave a message or email them,no answer for a few days.Poor customer service.The delivery fee is expensive in my opinion,unless you order minimum $69 every time.The las time I got my box smashed and half opened.Delivery took a week instead of 2-3 days. I would not order food from them anymore,but my cat seemed needs it and likes it.So,I give a company one more chance.

  This is a company that not only cares about the quality of their product, but customer service as well. The food cans are always packaged well and shipments arrive incredibly fast, especially given conditions these days. The food itself is loved by both cats. I only wish the rabbit were significantly less expensive as it’s the only protein I’ve found so far (with the help of our vet) that one of our cats digests with no problem. Our other cat could literally eat out of a garbage can and be okay, but absolutely loves the Koha rabbit, too.

  This company produces a truly great product. I like that it is sent with a protective inner box that protects the cans from arriving all dented up. Orders are filled quickly and if I need to change an automatic order it is easy to do so on the website. I'm really glad I found this company.

  My dog and cat love the food and their customer service is very responsive. I just wish they’d split up larger orders into more reasonably sized boxes as no mortal human could ever possibly be expected to carry some of these enormously large and heavy boxes that online pet food retailers insist on sending.

  Food is great and delivery was timely but they need to work on making their packaging more eco friendly. I got cases of shrink wrapped food wrapped in bubble wrap and covered other boxes to protect them… so unnecessary and wasteful.

  My order was shipped in a timely manner. Premium quality ingredients, unfortunately, both of my cats won't eat them. I have two senior cats (17 years old) and are very picky! It's like if the food doesn't have enough broth/ gravy - nope! If it doesn't smell good (to their liking) - nope! I have two divas *sigh* So I stumbled upon this website and saw this "PICKY EATING" sign. And I was like, OMG, this would be the answer to my absolutely picky eaters. Cats didn't even touch it. I hope the cats at the animal shelter will appreciate it more. I'm glad that the company offers trial packs, which allow me and my fur babies to try them. If your cats like them, good for them.
