    While Jobst makes a high quality product, I have been struggling to stay with the company of late as they have design flaws. The foot on the closed toe has always been too short and puts too much pressure on my toes. However when I tried the open toe it seems they have changed their design so that the band at the top of the kneehigh is of a different material, causing them to roll and create a tourniquet effect which defeats the purpose for bad circulation. I have wasted so much money trying to find something that works with Jobst that I am afraid I am having to find another company if I can:(

It's definitely not great that the closed toe design is causing pressure on your toes, and it sounds like the changes in the open toe version aren't making things any better for you. It's a bummer to hear that the new band material is causing rolling and discomfort, which is the last thing you need when dealing with circulation problems.     Decent sturdy products. My only complaint is with the DESIGNERS themself... Women's normal average height is around 5'5". However, Jobst insists on making ALL of their Thigh high and waist high products for TALL - Long Legged people. Their own fitting instructions state that their products should never be donned with Any material bunched up for it cuts off circulation by pinching that area. Which means that ALL of their thigh & waist high products Have to be bunched up in the inguinal area ( groin) for the majority of women out there due to the Legs of the product being too long. ( petite isn't available in all of their products or in all colors). Also, their Chaps NEED TO BE designed more like "crotchless" pantyhose. The current design has basically thigh high with a belt at the waist. Meaning that there is no continuous compression after the groin. The abdomen is left open, and the butt gets pinched & perched due to the thigh section pinching at the back of the thigh/groin/butt area. Looks aweful and cuts off circulation , defeating the point of compression wear. Jobst, Stop making them that way!. Please. I Believe that the majority of us who buy your Double Leg Chaps... buy them instead of your pantyhose, so that we do not have to keep pulling our tight compression wear up and down just to use the restroom. I'm spending over $130 per pair and I'm still having to sew the back seams together about 4-6" down , as well as in the front ( enclosing the belly and butt) in order to get them to wear asthetically,and not be bunched up at my groin, butt cheeks and belly. It's a simple design change for your Chaps. Do like I do and sew those seams from the waist down OR create a panthose to where both the crotch & butt area are open. Aka from top of Crack in butt to front upper public hair line open. So we can both urinate & #2 without constantly removing our compression wear.

    We have ordered twice. The first time the compression was too much & my husband started having terrible pain in his legs. He stopped using for a while & then for a very limited time during the day. The most recent purchase, a larger size, has been very good. He still is being careful about how long he wears them, but they are better than the first. They are quite expensive, so we are not able to buy often.

    I ordered opened-toe support stockings online. Next day, they emailed me that item had been discontinued. The sales person was nice and found similar items for me. They came 3 days later. However, they were closed toed. So I requested a return. It was easy and no hassle. The sales person ordered 3 open-toed ones. Waited for a week, no notification of shipping. So I called and the sales person contacted the supplier and the items were shipped upon contact. Finally the package came. Guess what…3 PAIRS OF CLOSED-TOED STOCKING!!! If the company do not have the open-toed stocking, they should let me know instead of shipping the wrong items again and again!! Totally frustrated!! The sales people were. Very helpful and nice, but the inventory and website system sucks!!

    This issue should have been addressed the first time. No excuse for 7 day delay in shipping, only after I called to inquire about the delay. Most companies would have given me these stocking for free for me trouble and frustration

    The web site was easy to follow to order the wraps; the order was mailed in a timely manner; delivery was to be made by DHL Service, but I waited two days after they were supposed to deliver and finally got my package by USPS. The wraps and one pair of liners was rather difficult to put on. I used a sock aid to get the liners on; then trying to put the wraps on was rather aggrevating because of the velcro. I guess practice will help. The therapist was satisfied with the wraps.

    It is unfortunate to need a compression garment for lymphedema secondary to surgery, but the Jobst products are the best I have tried. They are EXPENSIVE, especially since they have to be replaced at least 4x year and shipping is a bit slow, but I haven't found a better option.

    I placed my first order last night, Upon review of my order/s, I found that I had signed up for incorrect size. Posted an issue last night, again this am...and finally called the contact number. Liz/ a great listener, collected the information, needing to see if we could adjust one of the orders to the correct size, said she would call me back, and indeed, after checking, she did, leaving me a clear message of what she found out. WOW...who does that!!!! What customer service she provided to me.
