  I bought this D7500 with 18-140mm lens kit. Combined with either of the two kit lenses, the 18-140mm the package is incredibly light and easy to carry and use. Image quality is superb. And the lenses, particularly the little bundle, are among the sharpest Nikkors I have ever used. Auto-focus is fast fast fast. Even wide open, they are just tack sharp. I'm delighted with the package

  My second set of these. Using two Sony ECM-CG60 Shotgun for dance performances and wanted to obviate crowd noise from people near the camera. Also useful for dance lessons with either the student or instructor wearing the mic. Audio is captured even the mic worn on a cloth.

  Audio-Technica Pro-24CM mic is annoyingly noisy. When plugged into my Canon 7D this mic is noisier than the built-in one, by far. In side-by-side comparisons I prefer the built-in audio. The only benefit this adds is stereo dissection. Not going to give it a one-star because I have a feeling this is due to the deplorable inputs on the camera and not the Audio-Technica.

  Solid equipment; friendly staff. I hired a telephoto Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 for a tourist trip, but for some reason was not blown away with the performance. Reading up, I realised this particular lens had a few issues with the NIKON D610 and was of no fault of the lens I hired. I spoke to the staff and took the lens back the next day. The owner was very friendly and changed my contract to a day contract and processed my refund immediately.

  The Tiffen Star is a must-have for pro photographers, it hits the sweet spot for optical quality. This was perfect for my needs! Not to much but just the right amount of luminosity ! I would buy this again!

  This place is just great, everyone is super friendly and they've got the ethos and patience for new photographers and the experience and knowledge for experienced cameramen. TONs of selection tightly packed in a cozy shop with a wide range of prices from a couple hundred to a few thousand. Love their selection of used 35mm film cameras such as CONTAX and LEICA on the USED DEPARTMENT. Some limited Nikon F ones there as well. They also have mirrorless and full-frame cameras plus other types of cameras. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a used camera or photo/video supplies.

  Okay selection. In terms of service it is a hit-and-miss. Have had a few wonderful experiences there talking to the staff about different tones of voice- some of them are quite knowledgeable and can help steer me in the direction of what I want. Other staff simply try to brush me off every chance they get. Then when you finally get their attention it is as if you are doing them a disservice by asking them about gear - will usually be met with a short answer like 'Don't worry about it' or 'yeah its a good camera' before they run off to do whatever is occupying their attention

  This is my go to store for cameras & lenses. Recently I had a Kodak PRINTOMATIC put on hold for my daughter's birthday, on the phone Mart was so informative and courteous, when I went to pick up my purchase he also configured it for me. Thanks so much Mart! Now my younger son wants a kid's camera for his birthday, I'll need Mart's great help again. I highly recommend Fenway Photo store.

  If you've never been into a camera store before and you need advice, this place is great. The staff are friendly and accommodating. If you're an enthusiastic amateur and you're looking for macro ringlights or a new camera, this place is great. They'll give awesome advice with no pressure to buy. And if you're a pro on any level, this place is great. They have all the high end equipment ready gear you could ask for. All in all, this place is great

  I bought a Canon R6 to shoot 4K 120fps while I also needed a camera that could be configured to capture .jpg images readable with Photoshop Elements 9. It is an excellent camera. The best I have owned. I have owned (EOS R, 5DIII, 7D, 30D, & 20D). I think it will be fine. I do real estate/architectural photography and I use the R6 with the Canon 16-35mm L F4. I shoot my pictures always look great with plenty of detail. Never have any complaints.

  Awesome staff. Had to buy a Sony A7 II there. The camera was quite expensive itself, and i didn’t want to pay the delivery fee. Staff was so accommodating and helped me to fit my bag into my compact car. You guys always rock!!

  Was initially overjoyed with the Osmo Action, but I sent it back to FP the same day I bought it (today). The software is littered with bugs and slow, there is no camera manual that tells you how to use its features, there is no phone support and the button are too stuck. I bought it to use on boating, but I'll continue using my Nikon Monarch scope. The only thing is to get a refund or solid action cam.

  I got my husband a new Nikon Z 50 (16-50mm &50-250mm lenses & accessories kit) here, and I’m so glad we went here for it. Staff was accommodating, friendly, and personable, as well as very helpful and attentive. They had all kinds of digital cameras that we looked at, with unique, high-end to entry-level models. My husband is so happy with what we went with. It has a great camera, easy to control, and goodness is that design beautiful!

  EXCELLENT customer service! But I'll never buy anything else from them. Purchased a Celestron LandScout 20-60x65 online using the discount code. The customer service in this store is wonderful. The store has parking right in front so you don't have to walk far. I have purchased several products from them and would go back to them again if I was looking to buy another one.

  This is the most excellent Photography Source I have ever been to. Matt was extremely helpful to us teaching us what to buy and even how to use the camera. He went so far to give an in-depth analysis along with tips to get the best out of my Lumix DC-S1H . I bought a whole kit with 70-200mm f/2.8 O.I.S. lens kit when it was on offer as a more economical option. The most moving part was that he didn't recommend the expensive items, but rather the ones which are worth it while saving money. I would gladly come again and even tell my friends to come too.

  The store makes me feel stunned. Heavenly!!! Just looking up at the shotgun and lavalier mics. I miss the high fidelity audio. Anyway, just there being touristy. The selection seem extensive here and there are cool people around. I'd love to come back and try out some RODE. 💕

  The Mevo Start is a very versatile tool for anyone needing a simple unit to live stream and its only its omitted accessories that keeps it from being great! Must go to store for action cams. They have a nice selection of sports cameras. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and are ready to answer any questions you have, be it beginners questions or experts.

  Every photographer must-visit! This Fujifilm X100F proves photography is fun. It's built to last a lifetime. This is a perfect confluence of modern technology and old fashion film photography quality. The lens is magnificent. The camera is intuitive, especially if You shoot/have shot manual film cameras. Resolution is superb and beautiful. The camera size allows You to take it everywhere, comfortably and easily. I can't wait to use it as I travel half the world, the X100f is better, at everything.

  Took my Sigma dp1's LVF-01 viewfinder in today thinking I was going to have to send in for repair and lose use for a protracted period. Lead Optics Engineer looked at it and tightened up the screws on mount and all back good as new. Can't believe I never checked in after thinking for a month now that was just getting worse. Didn't catch his name or even really what he looked like as he was wearing his mask due to Covid (which I appreciated) - anyways back taking pictures again. Thanks again

  I bought this JVC GY-HM170 as a powerhouse for documentary and video workflows and it works like charm! Reliable, great image quality - fantastic color and audio ports that work great. It has so many great features for the price range and I figured if there was something really bad with it Fenway Photo would cover me. All footage came out great.

  I have purchased many products from the store before when I happened to be in New York but this time I opted for an online purchase due to COVID19. Exclusive support service. They sent the horizontal arms for my support rig out the same day and I had it the next day. The package included a card indicating that it was examined by one of their experts before shipping. I like that attention to detail. Their prices are always very competitive. Shop local, it's economically healthy!

  They had the Canon C500 Mark II we needed for high-end productions. Mark sold us EOS C100 and an Alexa mini earlier so we made this the go-to. Touch screen monitor mount is a vast improvement. I was shooting in 2k 10 bit to keep file size tractable and the image is beautiful. It's also impressive on 5.9k raw format. Very knowledgeable helpful and friendly staff, very good experience. Highly recommend to all my friends and relatives.

  I came in today hunting for first entry level camera and acquired a high-end Leica M-P (Typ 240). Mark was amazing, I had done my homework on the cameras I was looking for but Mark gave me far more in-depth comparison then I ever could have achieved on my own. I highly recommend anyone looking to purchase a camera to swing by this shop there dexterity is insuperable!

  Never been to the store itself but shopping online from New Jersey has been a seamless experience. Mark is slick with communication and will definitely continue to support this New York bred store before the big box retailers. They stock some 120mm Ilford films which is a huge bonus!

  I have mixed feelings regarding a Sony DSC-RX0 I now own from Fenway. It's sleek and waterproof. When powered by its app, it overheats almost immediately. The battery lifespan is also short-lived. The focus is terrible. I was helped by Mark at the store to get in touch with the manufacturer and will continue to do so despite it's litany of flaws. Sony will probably resolve some of the defects in a firmware update.

  Was in to inquire about the new full-frame cameras (Leica and Sony). They had a decent selection and reasonable prices. The sales team helping me was very patient, knowledgeable and detailed. Spent a lot of time with me even thoughI did not state that I was going to buy one. Enlightened me on digital photography, and if I will buy one, I will do it through them even though I live in Manhattan. Very highly recommend.

  All the staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I could tell that everyone truly wanted to help me instead of just pushing top-end brands.   This 128GB Delkin CFExpress Card was initially recommended by a local camera shop. When it came time to add to my toolkit, went to Fenway Photo for my needs. I found a painstaking review performed on various CFexpress cards, and they found that the Delkin units outperformed the competition by a wide margin. In speed and especially in controlling operating temperature. Very long-lasting build quality.

  Ordered a Rode Videomic-Go. It produces crystal-clear crispy sound while recording, as close to the true sound as I can imagine. The audio is much better with this microphone and well worth the small investment. The build quality is solid and should last a long time with use and the sound quality is very good. It is simple to use, very excellent results and well worth the small investment.

  JVC GY-HM170, Great little pro video cam! Easy to use! I am very pleased with the quality of 4K video I am getting and it is shooting the first 4K HD documentary. The camcorder is exceeding my expectations. I use it to film high school sports, competitions, church service and its perfect! Great color. Great image quality. Actually pretty good in low-light. Easy to use. You can give it to anyone and they can figure it out. Highly-recommended store.

  Purchased a Canon XF400 for hit and run in a convention event. This camera did an excellent job in terms of speed. The stabilization, build-in ND filters and other great features make the XC400 super for out and about shooting. I just don't do that kind of shooting all that much. The image and color are exceptionally good. The built in mic was the only downfall I found. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this camera & store.

  They're masters of marine, astronomy, image stabilized, and birding binoculars, my beloved Bushnell 7x50 Marine Binoculars. They are water-resistant and fogproof. Comfortable grip, durable construction and lightweight, deep field of view and rich contrast. These are designed for marine use. Very simple focusing. Not much to go wrong over the years. Very clear and bright. Good field of view. I feel I made a good choice, and am happy with the price I paid.

  Love my Lensbaby 5.8mm F/3.5 Circular Fisheye. I just purchased this lens and have only started to play with it. I brought the lens to use in ultra-ultra wide landscape photography but it is a fun lens to just flirt around with in everyday shooting. You cannot beat the cost of this lens compared to what other brands wants for their lens. Always a pleasure! Very well run photography store; top quality staff; very superior full frame cameras; good selection of rental mirrorless and SLR lenses accessories.

  Excellence staff, very friendly. Took my girlfriend, who's never been to a telescope store, and she glimpsed though a her first Dobsonian Reflectors (Newtonians). Purchased Celestron NexStar 130 SLT. Very knowledgeable and professional staff, helped set her up with a very beginner friendly CCD ocular paired to a Mac. We both had a view of Saturn's rings, fragments of star clusters and the moon!! I'd recommend it only for those families who has a decent deck or in-attic observatory in a house that is not badly laced by metropolitan air pollution and obscurity.

  Just received my D810 and it is immaculate. Overall there are some monumental improvements from the D800 that makes this body a premium-grade. Improved autofocus, potent battery life, supreme ISO performance, etc. Its not fast, but it does so well in all lighting situations. D810 is fabulous for bright sunny or well light scenarios, and I like it a lot. However, ADORE the D810!!!

  I visited Fenway Photo a few weeks back with a friend of mine and wanted a Vlogging mirrorless camera, DSLR, point & shoot cameras, microphones, and lighting . The shop was well-stocked, well-lit and up-to-date, and the staff quite courteous and helpful. The cost of every item was fair. The selection of digital cameras and accessories was comprehensive and prices looked good. I enjoy a good conversation about mirrorless Canons and Olympus with specialist personnel and the guys behind the counter were happy to shoot the breeze. Great time; will definitely be back there again soon.

  A well-stocked electronics super store with home theater projectors, projection screens, projector mounts & accessories, portable audio, headphones and mobile bluetooth speakers. The Sony VPL-VW295ES projector, just like my previous one worked excellently, but I wanted 4K UHD. The 4k is incredible, the blacks are crisp and the picture is movie theater quality. I am very pleased with my purchase and love this projector. My previous projector was a Sony VPLVW70. The picture quality and clarity is unbelievable on a 12-foot screen. My screen is white, and I can see it in resplendent sunlight beautifully. I love this projector!

  Excellent camera store and staff! I purchased their basic beginner DSLR(EOS 4000D). It was exactly what I needed. Mark was my sales guy, he is a great photographer! He is knowledgeable, patient, fun and informative. He provided clear information, never boring, emphasizing a tailored camera at all times, thoroughly answering every question. Pre-purchasing time was very helpful. Mark provided us with with EF-S 18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6 III & EF 75-300 mm f/4-5.6 III lens, explained each glass and provided helpful, encouraging feedback to each of us. I highly recommend the store.   I bought my Sony a7iii January 1st 2021. Truly amazing camera. The video and photo quality of this body (paired with EOS R) is incredible. The higher range of native ISO is absolutely fantastic for low-light situations. AF system is reliable and smooth. The grip feels great, buttons are ergonomic. Everything about this camera is a major step up from my time using an EOS. Still worth a look to support a great local business.
