  More Vivid Views of the Deep Sky! It's a Gem find where I now restock telescope Barlow lenses, accessories, adapter rings, extension tubes, eyepieces, and astronomy filters. I bought the Explore Scientific Focal Extender to get a heavenly glimpse of deep-sky astrophysical subjects including the Andromeda Galaxy. I pair it with 9mm eyepiece and 1.25 adapters. Absolutely love this place, friendly and helpful staff. I have been to several shops in my area but none have been as friendly and helpful as these guys. Could not recommend high enough

  Couldn't say enough nice things about these guys. Besides all that, being a recent Nikon 810A owner, and an official connoisseur, I must say Fenway Photo is a Photography Heaven! There's options for every situation imaginable, from DSLR & Mirrorless equipment, point & shoot bridge gear, binoculars, electronic gadgetry etc. and the friendly staff will help you sort out the best solution. Their catalog makes me drool! Thanks to the guys who've helped me.

  A fairly wide range of audio related products at affordable to expensive prices depending on what you buy. The location is convenient, the staff are friendly and able to provide a level of technical support/ advice. Recommend you check purchases as soon as you can as some of the items I purchased did not work out of the box but the guys were happy to trade in.

  Refurbished Nikons are cast in the same mold as Apple products--they get a new lease of life. So I felt confident ordering a refurbished D90 at Fenway Photo. It's true the D90 straddles high-end amateur and low-end professional levels, so this camera is perfect for my daily use. I back-ordered this camera in December and after using it for a while now, I'm really happy with this purchase. I haven't had any problems. When I received it, it was like a new product. I didn't notice that it was refurbished or fixed up in any way.

  As a new astronomer I found the staff to be very friendly, helpful and willing to share information. Prices are better than larger electronics shops based in New York and a lot more cozy environment to shop in. Will definitely be back.

  Pentax K-70. Love the ruggedness of the body & lens to ward off the elements! I'm going back into photography after a long lull. I always go against the grain for rare cameras like this. Endorsed the K70 because I have quite a dynamic array of K-Mount lenses already, and didn't want to start a new legacy lenses collection. This camera performs well above it's value, and is a great buy for anyone looking at entry level to intermediate level DSLR photography. Great little store for the Pentaxian. Staff are friendly and helpful.

  Bought a Horseman Apo-Rodagon-N 80mm f/4.0 Lens accompanied by my wife for hospitably, so generously and warmly welcoming to us. I can't give enough gratitude. Bought the Horseman VCC Pro for a Canon DSLR, Mark "the owner" who was excellent to deal with very knowledgeable and easy to speak to. The shop is very well priced and extremely professional in all they do. Looking forward to dealing with these people in the future

  First time visit today. I needed help to store some darkroom chemistry and they had the Arista C-41 (to Make 32 oz) for processing color negative film. Mark was incredibly helpful & went through the whole process with me. He advised me widely on preparing 8 rolls of 35mm/36exp or 120 color negative film and developing most chromogenic color and B&W films. The kit's ensemble bundles up developer, bleach-fix, and stabilizer chemistry. From start to finish it was very friendly & professional. I'm sure this will all be sorted a lot easier than me dealing with it on my own. Well worth a visit, highly recommend them.

  I love RED and Leica but it has remained just that. Hence my quick leap to order the newly released FX6 full-frame cine from Sony except that it manacles view to HD format with my S35 lenses. The lowlight performance is best-in-class. This is replacing our FS5 and is a perfect match to our Sony PXW-FX9 !

  Excellent selection of cameras and lenses. The staff are always very helpful, I have found their customer service to be a cut above the rest.   I recently bought a Samsung 2TB SSD and it is so far doing great! I can finally play like the high graphics games i could be playing but because system is tenuous and use less because of updates and other things but anyway, the staff was excellent and were a big help to my purchase. Great stock and everything looks awesome on display. I will be sure to return to this store someday.

  A great little shop with great staff. They have a decent variety that can be viewed via their web site first if you are not too keen to drive in to the city. Staff were quite helpful in explaining the reason behind their product recommendation, which may be useful for new birders or those who simply aren't sure of what optics they want.

  Have bought from Fenway Photo a couple times as their service is impeccable. Pricing points on a few things are a little higher than other dealers, so if you're willing to pay a few dollars more for great service then this is your go to. On somethings they price themselves out of the market but others they are really competitive. You can tell the staff are passionate about their field and are a wealth of information when it comes to all things underwater photography & video.

  I bought the Parrot V2 hoping my dslr would pick up on the edges of the unit. I had to zoom to 50mm on my 5DS R to get past vignette. Not happy about that. I'll probably use it to film stuff with an iPhone as the camera. I suppose on a cropped-sensor camera, it's not as bad. But it's a let-down on a full-frame, to be honest. Wished I had know that before buying.

  I was uncertain about which telephoto zoom lens I needed, the guys at Fenway Photo were really knowledgeable and explained the pros and cons of each one. I ended up with an amazing Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 that is taking amazing pictures. Recommend them highly.

  Really friendly staff. Staffed by photographers so could give subtle and nuanced advice. They were happy to help my husband who is an experienced photographer and myself (the complete novice). My husband used to go to Fenway when we lived in New York and it was well worth travelling back from Manhattan.

  Went there to buy a Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 Art lens for my Sony A7R IV, Served by Mart who demonstrated the various lenses using my own camera and let me take some template photos, he also gave me a few tips to improve my genre of photography. I shall definitely go there again. The shop was actually recommended to me by someone in a camera shop in Manhattan which I visited during a short break down there.

  When I arrived home, I was anxious to try the Sigma MC-11 Mount Converter/Lens Adapter. It did not work with my older Sigma EX 70-200mm-In fact it shuts down Sony A7III completely with that lens and that's too bad because I love that lens. I am returning it to the good folks at Fenway Photo.

  Great experience. Bought a used Leica S3 camera body and lens with partial exchange of some lenses I no longer use. I got a reasonable price for my lenses and paid a fair price for the new body and lens. The staff know their subject well and they are trying to do their best for the customer - they saved me $250 on a battery purchase. I've bought from them before and will do so in future.

  Went for a sensor cleaning, very prompt, and very professional, since it was a first time, it made me a bit nervous but felt welcomed like and old friend. All COVID19 procedures in place too. Also, Sensei care liquid for a sensor clean and firmware update to top it all, so much better than the camera locations in the center of NY who just (understandably) want to upsell.

  Well-equipped shop with smartphones, tablets, PCs, TVs, cameras and conferencing supplies. In addition, the staff is available for any clarification. Prices are within the norm of every large-scale retail store and the convenient thing is that it is located in the city without having to go by car to the edges where the large shopping centers are located.   This Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G produces incredibly sharp images. The autofocus is extremely quiet. Almost nonexistent. I have yet to do portraiture with this one. But, as far as street photography and macro images are concerned, Ive had excellent, superb results. I think its a must have for every photographer. I recommend this historic shop. I have always felt comfortable, thanks to the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the wide range of products.

  Fenway Photo is a small, independent but enjoys a strong reputation in the photo world. It's a must-see destination for hard-to-find photography tripod support accessories like center columns, leg protectors, spikes and rubber feet. I misplaced the foot of my monopod, Mark recommended this Induro RBR-4 rubber set. It's perfect for Stealth CLT304L. Fit perfectly and seem rugged and durable.

  Canon is the megapixel king of the hill! The Canon 90D will shoot fast birds and other wildlife producing the most supreme images. Another great feature is being able to download pictures to your phone right from the camera. It feels very well built and the controls are easy to get to. I would recommend this camera to anyone wanting to step up from an entry level model. The purchase process was fast and got the camera in no time. Loved the free items and love my new camera.

  I ordered a Rebel SLR 3 camera as a Christmas gift for my daughter, so no experience with it yet, but the Fenway service was outstanding. Ordered on Monday morning and FedEx delivered on Wednesday afternoon. Everything was packed securely and the extra items in the kit were an added bonus.

  I had one of the best camera buying experiences with Matt from Fenway Photo. He replied to all my queries via email(even on the weekend), offered me really unbeatable prices and definitely went above and beyond.   Mark was patient, fluent, very informative, offered advice I hadn’t even considered asking about, and assisted in setting me up with everything I needed. This was all done while keeping my budget in mind, and addressing my specific needs. From a sales perspective, his demeanor, body language and product knowledge were fantastic. I’m coming back for a tripod and a gimbal system soon, and will be sure to deal with Mark again. Experiences like this cements customers' loyalty- so well done Mark. Seriously a 10/10.

  My experience with FENWAY PHOTO has been nothing but positive. They were courteous, professional, and very patient with my purchasing process, despite some hiccups along the way. I'm hoping this review will encourage those are interested in purchasing a Sony Alpha a7R III (or two, or three...) and related products to have an open mind and check the place out. :)

  Out of all of the photography shops I have dealt with across the US, these guys are by far the best. They know what they are talking about and are very informative. I have never felt pressured into purchasing from them. They always package the items very well. I am always very happy with the products they send. Super fast shipping too. As you can tell I highly recommend them!

  I was here to take passport photos and only rate this service, not the rest of the store. The service of the employee was ok. Fenway Photo went fast and is cheap. However, a gripe is that the quality of the photo can be improved (as far as the exposure and colors are concerned).

  We went in to get some battery and possibly a new lens. Mark the assistant manager was so incredibly helpful and explained everything that was going very thoroughly, he got us some awesome deals.   I purchased Nikon Df DSLR Camera with 50mm f/1.8 today, I found the young fellow working there to be very friendly and helpful. Took the time to answer all my questions and was very patient and knowledgeable about the products I was enquiring about. Not sure what all the negative reviews are about regarding customer service. It's well-stocked in Nikon, Canon & Pentax DSLRs. Do a bit of research about what your looking for and you can't go wrong with these guys. I will be back for sure. Some of you need to roughen up a bit. It's like they expect someone to roll out a red carpet just because you pop in the store.

  Came in here ( fenway photo) to get a 5D mkIV for my wife. Mark was a pleasure to deal with. He was very upfront and honest about pricing for both phone and the contract and very willing to help me find something that would fit my budget. He did not try to push a certain brand on me , but rather helped me decide between the EOS lineup that I had in mind to choose from. Also he was patient with me while I took time to figure out what I wanted.

  The associates at Fenway Photo are all incredibly helpful and have tons of knowledge about full-frame cameras across the board. The store manager, Mart, has always helped me out when I needed something from here. Very accommodating and caring, and exceptional customer service. I would highly recommend seeing somone at this location if you are looking for a new camera, these guys will give you an awesome deal and their customer service was unbeatable. Their extended warranty (or Canon Care Plan) is definitely worth the extra money. Its super hassle-free, and no other company has a warranty like this and it cannot be beat. Definitely an ideal go-to store for prosumer cameras!

  I visited this place to buy new Pentax PF-80ED 80mm spotting scope if it fits in my budget and I was helped by Mr. Matt who was great help, giving me all options and choices which are very well suited with my budget and my choice of birding scopes. Mr. Matt was very professional and courteous and I would say very good at customer service. I recommend to check out this place for any of your glassing need. Staff here is amazing.

  As an amateur who doesn't know anything about birding, FENWAY PHOTO shop nearby where I don't feel despair. This is particularly due to the very good advice! The customer is approached with calm and patience without the feeling that I am trying to sell what or trying to sell! Each article was not only suggested to me but also well explicated. The entire staff that I met on site was always friendly and above all interested in the customer!   I've used Panasonic camcorders for my documentaries and short narratives, inluding an AG-AC90, when I bought the Panasonic AG-AC30, I was appalled by the image quality. It's also not made for all severe ligh conditions pixellation. Will return it to Fenway for something more productive.

  Bought a Sony DSC-W830 at Fenway Photo, it will take good pictures but due to fragility in construction it feels poorly made in my hands, it also looks flimsy; for example the modular body. I have a Fujifilm P&S from several years ago and the body is much stronger but only slightly larger. It's surprisingly slow in operation and lacks digital promptness akin to many digital cameras.

  Came in to see Mark from his time at another store. Great knowledge and customer service. Bought a new Panasonic PT-MZ770U laser projector for my home entertainment along with lots of other bits and 74.8-118.2mm Zoom lens. Would never have went there if it wasn't for Mark being there and offering a more relaxed hands on service than what I've experienced elsewhere. Great shop and great Panasonic products. Going back tomorrow for more accessories

  I shop for Special Application Filters products from brands such as Schneider Optics, Aurora-Aperture and Arri here. Special application filters in major categories included: IR control, action camera filters, underwater filters, close-up lens filters, light pollution reduction filters, Infrared & UV photography. Have bought our company's infrared filters and Haida 77mm NanoPro to cut down on pollution in the sky.
