  I'm a beginner motorsports as a photojournalist and this is, by far the best camera store I've visited. Excellent customer service! I was helped by Mark, Matt and Chris, and they were all extremely helpful and kind. They recommended me a d5300 camera and walked me through the pros and cons. As well as that, they gave me a lot of advice for being a novice. This will now be my go-to camera shop for as long as I live in Manhattan! They all went above and beyond what was expected as well as being perfectly professional and nice!

  Just bought this Ricoh GR III camera a month ago! Was the first camera Ive ever purchased and despite my lack of wisdom, its been great! Would highly recommend this camera for either photography or filmmaking as its settings are very easily divided to make for easy access!

  Spot on FENWAY PHOTO Audio Recommendation! I am a professional documentary film sound recordist, and have purchased mics by Rode, DPA, Sennheiser and Sanken at Fenway photo. I bought a Rode Shotgun mic yesterday. The sound is crisp and picks up the ambiance well. It also filters the sounds you do not need to hear and gives the target a rich detailed sound. I had the Azden SMX-30 and this definitely sounds better. I decided to check with a Fenway's audio expert for advice. The Rode shotgun microphone has surpassed my expectations. It's fantastic!

  Mark and Adams were extremely helpful in store. Love this place! Great for all my #Vlogging, Content Creator and Indie #Filmmaker needs. I love Canon cameras and the range they have is really good and you can get hands on also. Do book in a visit to see them.

  I am a hobbyist photographer and the Fuji X-S10 is way more camera than my current my skills for the moment. I waited for the release of the kit with Viltrox AF 56mm f/1.4 XF Lens , so I signed up for updates when available through the app. Fenway Photo emailed me updates every week or so to let me know the item I wanted was not in stock yet. Once it arrived, I ordered it that day and received it within 2 days. I am very pleased with my experience and look forward to evolving my skills to match the capabilities of the X-S10, as well as future business with Fenway Photo, NY.

  Had to return the product. Everything on this bird was fine except for touching down. I have flown a lot of drones from at least 4 different manufacturers and this DJI P4 definitely had some issues. Hopefully the replacement unit will work as it should.

  I've been a customer at Fenway Photo for years, mostly renting lenses for jobs. I recently had a major upgrade to my camera system and used Fenway Photo for that, with Mark looking after my purchases. The experience was excellent, and Mark was able to work within my budget and give good advice. I'd highly recommend Fenway Photo- they sell incredible equipment and give first class service.

  Wonderful camera. Pictures are sharp. I haven't gotten chance to shoot much so far. Body feels robust and good on hand. Fenway Photo staffs are very professional and helpful, quick delivery.   I bought the Canon 7D Mark 2, it's a good choice for portrait and wedding photography, the best all around camera on the market for the money right now. love this camera. While it is not a full frame camera it is relatively light compared to those and super fast. Pictures are excellent. I love having the built in flash. the Tamon 16-300mm is my bread and butter lens, low light capabilities are excellent so bright lenses with low ISO settings aren't necessary to get good shutter speeds and proper exposures.

  I had an OM-D E-M10 Mark IV for years and wanted to get a camera with a bit more resolution without going to a full frame. I love this OM-D E-M1 Mark II and was taking great photos day one.   A paradise for Underwater Photography! I love being able to take my great camera underwater and photograph marine life while scuba diving. This Ikelite Underwater case works wonderfully with my G7X Mark II camera and I don't have to worry about any equipment failure. Follow the instructions in the manual and you are good to go!

  This Super-Elmar-M 21mm F/3.4 is just about as perfect as it gets, short of possibly being a little faster, but size is another plus. I also own the Summilux 35mm Aspherical and this Super Elmar is very nice and compact compared to the Summilux, and is also excellent against the sun. Very flare resistant.

  This Swarovski Z5 was my 3rd purchase from Fenway photo! I knew what I was looking for but unfortunately it was unavailable from the manufacturer website, but the customer service representative offered to email me a list of what the manufacturer had available in stock. I received the email within minutes and called him back and he walked me through placing my order. Within 5 days, my ordered was delivered!!! Since, my daughter has also purchased from Fenway photo!!

  I am an equine photographer, the used D700 is the most awesome camera I have ever owned in my 30 years of shooting. I shoot with available light in low light situations. This camera body feels very solid, and comfortable to hold. Awesome. Won't go anywhere else in NY for my camera needs but Fenway Photo. Exceptional 5 stars!

  It was a fantastic experience. The staff were very friendly and I felt no pressure at all in buying the products. Staff also gave the opportunity to try different lenses and mount adapters myself before choosing the right one. On the top of this, I got great discounts and a freebie. I was helped in loading the products into my car as well. I highly recommend this store.

  I was very impressed by the service of the team at FENWAY PHOTO. I ordered a camera through them that was not currently in their stock. They were super helpful during the ordering process and kept me informed of any developments throughout the whole process. They notified me as soon as the camera arrived in the shop and let me test out two identical models that had been delivered to pick the one that I preferred based on how it worked and felt to me.   I am new to filming and photography and I can say with certainty that this photo shop is fantastic. It has give me the opportunity to work on and practice my skills while producing amazing photos and very high quality video with a rented camera which I later bought. It is light and easy to carry. Fenway Photo was very prompt and easy to work with as well as provided a good price for the camera. They will forever more be my go to equipment store. I would 10/10 recommend to a friend.

  My 5d mark iv was a great upgrade. A professional camera without the prosumer price tag. Very easy to use. I researched all my options as to where and how I wanted to make my purchase, and I feel that Fenway Photo had the best deal and service.   When our Forensic camera died yesterday afternoon, I called Fenway Photo to get a new Fuji X-T1 IR delivered ASAP - as we needed it for an ongoing criminal prosecution the next day.   Fantastic & Great Optics Selection I love this M.Zuiko 12-100mm lens, built like a tank and super sharp. I discussed with Adam over the phone about it being a bit cumbersome, maybe a touch but if you have carried big wide-angle lenses this is nothing to leave on all the time. I have the ultra-wide zoom Canon 16-35mm and like this better with more range. It's not that much bigger. Great lens, expensive but you get what you pay for. Fenway Photo were awesome, quick free shipping.

  Great range of monoculars, spotting scopes, rangefinders (laser) and binoculars etc to suit all budgets. ( I personally bought an affordable acoustic). The staff are friendly, helpful and ready to offer advice or demonstrate products, all in a relaxed manner, without being pushy. Would recommend a visit!

  The folks at downtown are great to deal with, even in the middle of Covid. I had a Pony 828 camera with shutter issues and they were able to fix it for me within a couple weeks. They are well adapted to the new rules and are still able to deliver top-class service!

  Very Good Store for Wildlife Photography!! I'm very novice to photography but so far, this camera shop is awesome. I enjoy bird and wildlife photography primarily so the Sony CyberShot RX10 IV I bought is excellent. Im struggling in low light winter sky situations but Im confident that this is more operator error than anything. Im definitely looking forward to the RX10 capabilities for birds in flight and the extra wing positions from my Nikon Z 50 DX.

  I recently upgraded my Sigma mirrorless camera from a sd Quattro to the dp2 which I purchased from Fenway Photo. The purchase was flawless. Great company. Now the camera purchase was decided after much research. I am very pleased with this camera. The low light capability and the image quality is what I was seeking and the dp2 did not disappoint. The challenge now is to become somewhat familiar with most of the capabilities of the dp2. That said I will definitely deal with Fenway Photo in the future.

  Awesome monocular!! This is the best component in our optics arsenal for birding. So good that we bought a lightweight, sleek Leica Monovid 8x20 monoculr so we can both hike and view birds simultaneously.

  I work motorsports as a photojournalist and this is, by far this D500 is the best camera body I've owned. That's why I needed a 2nd one, and Fenway made the purchase easy with the credit card. Excellent and friendly service. They arranged a demonstration quickly and took a lot of time to go through the different compatible le nses. Match Internet prices, so definitely worth it!

  Just been in this morning and left having purchased a new Leica APO-Televid spotting scope and a 25-50x WW Aspheric Eyepiece. Mark took all the time I needed, went through multiple eyepieces' combinations before deciding.   Went in on the 3rd of April 2021, all staff were lovely and welcoming. Was in to research underwater housings, and everyone was very complimentary and nice, gave their honest opinions on our choices. When I left my iPhone in the store and returned 10 minutes later, they'd found it and kept it safe behind the counter. Can't recommend enough!

  The Nikon D5 is the best camera I've ever owned and used. The low light capabilities is spectacular. It has allowed me to push the envelope with indoor sports photography. Its now my on-the-go camera and is typically the one I use. Especially helpful when I am shooting ballgames in low evening light and field night lights, as well as indoor corporate events! Highly Recommended this Prince of Darkness! If you have been procrastinating, wait no longer!

  Mark was fabulous. I was having trouble finding a super-rare wide angle. He was able to find it and have it shipped to myself with out any extra fuss. The entire staff worked to make everything happen despite the current situation with COVID. Attached is my first test shot with the new lens. I am thrilled to say the least.

  I popped into this shop to seek advice on grain reduction for my food blog photography, Mark was SOOO Knowledgeable, he advised me to jettison SLR lenses for large formats photography. I'm three months and I love both the Rodenstock 35mm f/4 lens and accessories as it allows for much greater control of an image.   Matt got me just what I was looking for. I got a Tamron Teleconverter 2.0x for use with my 70-200 and it works perfectly. The autofocus works just like it should even on a foggy low light day. I have no complaints about this teleconverter or photo shop.

  I just unwrapped my tripod head. I am hoping to use it with my RED cameras. I was elated about the solid rail system and the perceived ease of use with the software. When I tried to setup a camera however I realized the quick-release was defective and the tilt arm was twisted. I will exchange it but it makes me worry about the overall built quality. I do not understand the flimsy quick-release and why UniqBall did not make a double tilt arm which would be so much stronger. Honestly- I have to say that from looking at the packaging it must have fallen quite hard at Fenway or shipping.

  Bought NVIDIA SHIELD Android TV Pro during a Fenway Photo Black Friday sale. Very fast and the size is excellent so you can hide it anywhere behind your TV. All the apps I've installed had no apparent bugs. Cannot go back to other players after owning the Shield TV.

  My experience today at Fenway is why brick and mortar stores knock spots off out of Amazon. The sales staff was very friendly and super helpful. In fact, after buying a new body and tripod, I came home and assumed I knew I how to operate the new tripod only to get stuck (after all, I’m a pro: why should I need to read the directions 😂😂😂). I left a message and within 10 minutes scott called me back and walked me through over the phone. You can’t beat that kind of care and service. Many thanks and will definitely be back.

  This is a great place to get camera gear and all of the accessories. The staff are very knowledgeable and can answer any questions you have from advanced ringlights to what kind of camera to buy. The prices are decent and you can also rent lots of different camera gear. They also offer workshops and classes on many topics. This store is sprawling and there is a good starbucks under the same shopping roof.

  Decent selection of some used and some new (not much as pretty compact store, but still) equipment covering the super-rare brands. The staff was very friendly and even let me try out some of the lenses I was looking at on my camera.   Rode VideoMic Pro packs intuitive settings, good sound overall for simple projects. The Mic. is not completely compatible with Rode VXLR Pro Transformer-Balanced 3.5mm TRS Female, it hits the mic. on the roll back limiting the range of motion, the battery cover it's awkwardly designed but eventually you manage to get it close. The last drawback is the Rode lack of full range of motion with it on the consumer camcorders in the market.

  I bought this VIZIO V505-H19 tv because it was so inexpensive, but I would have still been happy with this purchase if the TV was double the price.   This is a great store, was pleasantly surprised to find a great inventory of vintage cameras/lenses.... Exactly what a real photography shop should be... Could have spent an entire day just looking at the wonderful vintage SLR 35mm cameras on display. Mark is a gentleman and a legendary American photographer. Highly recommend.

  Great shopping experience, recently purchased the Canon Vixia HF G50 from this place. As i'm new to livestream church services I was in doubt as to which camcorder and pro video tripod to purchase, Mark helped me narrow down my search based on my requirements.   I have dealt with Fenway Photo for a large part of my wedding photography career. The light really shone during these strange times about their customer service. It's fast, courteous and reliable and do their best. I miss their shop in Park Avenue New York. When things get better I will pay a visit to their new location. But their online service is absolutely superb. I can't speak highly enough. As a result of my recent experiences, they are my first choice for anything related to photo & camera gear purchases as they are dealers for most of the big names. You can't go wrong with them.
