I just rang Fenway Photo Cameras asking about 7mm Eyepiece and UHC Nebula Filter for my Celestron NexStar Evolution 8 of which they had one left which they put to the side for me as I was leaving straight away. Yet almost halfway there I get a phone call from the person I spoke to previously saying they are just giving it away as we speak. …. what sort of service is that. !!! Fortunately I wasn't nearly there as I would have gone in the shop and complained. I don't think I'll buying from them again. Caveat emptor. !!!

Great service, and they correspond with all the premium brands products around New York. Plenty of photography services etc. They can order in for you if you need something idiosyncratic, but not for any price you couldn't get online. Plenty of parking nearby if that's a concern. I am no expert when it comes to American camera stores, but I'm still pretty sure you could do worse than Amazon.

These guys are top class and really look after you. Pleasant people, competitive prices but crucially really look after you when things go wrong. That exceptional after care is the reason I’ll buy from them exceptionally. When my EOS 90D DSLR just before a competition they sorted me out in record time, no haste, no fuss. These guys are brilliant. Originally called chasing a an excellent camera for weddings, indie film makers and special events. There are a few staff in the store. A young lady who is still a beginner but very helpful, is delighted to confuse her craved goods. However, there is a bald eyeshadowed guy that I can not understand. He's not customer-centric and unfortunately a bit pessimistic. If you are a good seller then you've come to super place. 5 stars have the shop equipment, 5 stars for the lady, but 2 for the above mentioned guy.

Passive attitude, they can not greet a client (I'm ignored). The scattered images (most of them unclear, almost vague, with their originals sharp) I got the answer that I had to call the lab. Absolutely customer-centric, polite service. What I really liked about the way they handled the situation was a small mistake. They apologized, ACKNOWLEDGED and offered some alternatives to the deal. Parking is absurd in the area. You enter into the shop, three people working, thank you, no one looks at you all noses at the monitor. It was very difficult for one of them to retrieve my order, but the website was ambiguous so I could take the rest of the offer. From there, I could feel he no longer wanted to help, so the gentleman runs off to his colleague. Whoever saved the whole story was at least kind. This Fenway Camera is a mess, throwing trash everywhere you could put a bin. If this is what the business looks like, it may not be humans but machine sales robot harnessing a commission would have to push during working hours. All in all I got what I was looking for because there is really a great deal of supply, but unfortunately the whole place had a negative impression.

The attitude towards customers is poor, and the staff is not sincere. It is really quite good to quit in case that the salary you pay them becomes worthless. Matt thinks that he is a good executive to teach his employees every day, but in real life-the real boss will not talk brag his achievements. But will use actions to let your employees experience the positive, not like you will only play hard. It's really exaggerated to see that the owner has a very cold attitude toward people who don't seem to want to buy a camera. Only after leaving the shop, I searched for the evaluation of the store on the Internet. It turned out that the attitude of the owner has been arrogant and consistent since 10 years ago. I would advise everyone who wants to go to the store for a general chat. Think twice!

Just received my Weaver Deluxe Scope Mounting Kit and was happy with the way the transaction went through without a glitch, the staff were helpful and great to do business with, at the time Fenway Photo were the lowest price in the United States and that's not all, I was able to recover a discount from Weaver for purchasing in the United States and got 2 years warranty for joining Weaver life that also enables you to mount optics securely.

The store has a vast selection of cctv cameras all over I asked for a Wi-Fi Floodlight Camera w/night vision which the sales person even didn’t know where it is. Made a top-dollar purchase using my debit card, not a credit card, with info filled out correctly. 24 hours later I get an email stating “our system flagged you for potential fraudulent activity and automatically canceled your order and refunded your money. Expect 5-7 days for refund” Email and call to ask what was going on and they tell me take a picture of my ID on top of my card then they’ll forward that to management then management will forward that to fraud then I’ll get an email back with how they want to proceed. F that. Take your business else where. Their processing/shipping times have gone down hill anyways, on top of their sensitive sketchy system and automatic refunds it’s better to shop local even if it costs more.

To say I am impressed with the service at Fenway Photo would be an understatement. I ordered a Lensbaby Velvet 56mm f/1.6 Lens from them on a Friday, after talking with customer service. After completing the order, I was prompt that it may take 5-7 business days to ship. About an hour later I get an Email with a tracking number. I figured they had just printed the shipping label. On Monday afternoon, I was killing time and thought I would check and see if it had been shipped yet. I track the package and it says it was delivered. I was overwhelmed. I call to see if this is correct and it was. The lens was everything I had hoped it would be and arrived in pristine shape. I will be buying my next photo treasures from Fenway Photo. Anyone who gave Fenway five-star reviews was given in store tip to do so. Out of all the Photography stores I've been to this is by far the worst place. There customer service is sickening and you have to basically harass them to find out where your package is or the status of it. I have been waiting 4 months now for my item and I am at the point where I will just take a loss on my order and warn others about doing business with these scam artist.

If you need anything photographic be it underwater equipment, drones, digital DSLR cameras, le nses, you name it, this place will most likely have it. If you really want to dig through what stores have you may want to put some time aside. Easy to get to via subway or metro and they have a good selection of camcorders-consumer & prosumer downstairs.

Is a big superstore but it stands out as either supplier, repair shops, or rental or have exactly the same items as the next shop. Basically Canon, Leica, Fujifilm, and Hasselblads on repeat, with a sprinkle of Nikon and Olympus cameras and the rest are bags and phone cases. One or two camera shops as well. Be aware that prices differ based on how you look. Great coffee on the first floor. Prices are better than the high end shops but not cheaper than what you can get on B&H or Amazon.

Super cool giant mall of anything photo/video-- cameras both digital and film, lenses of all strands, camera/lenses repair, optical engineering equipment, fully refurbished Nikons, underwater imaging gear, etc -- but dauntingly USA-made. Folks with rudimentary skill-sets might want a guide with a better grasp on the subject matter-- Leica is scarce and Minolta gadgets nonexistent. Be on the lookout for prices, products sold at one store can be found for $200 cheaper on another floor if you keep your eyes peeled.

There are a lot of online stores. And this is good. But I usually prefer Fenway Photo in New York. Like in traditional Mom & pop service, you can always get a qualified consultation, and, in any group of photography tools. Fresh example-picked up an apartment in the air conditioner. Great condition spotting and weaponry scopes are on sale, and the owners of the shop were very kind. They kindly explain and guide me through products that I was interested in. Best customer service I’ve seen New York. They are top-brass experts in photography. I am well educated with photography and they made me feel like a fresher. Additionally they went above and beyond when helping me. They fixed my camera for 1/3 of the quoted price (around 20 dollars total) and they also were able to answer any questions I had about anything camera related. True experts who are passionate about what they do. I love this shop. I bought a camera from them just to give them by business out of respect. Can’t say enough good things about them. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a 35mm film cameras or analog photo needs. Came in to grab a Nikon F6 SLR Camera with some extra stuffs. Came out saving a chunk of money with all the things i bought. Beats some internet prices like b&h Well knowledgeable team to help you chose what to buy. Ended up buying something less expensive than i anticipated, with the honest staff just telling me not to waste on something that i wouldn't be use and no need for such an expensive accessory for a what i plan to do.
