  The best quality, best prices, best customer service, best website. They are the best at everything. I've made tens of orders over these past few years and they have all gone 100% awesomely. Customer service is fast and great at responding and giving you the correct information and they're quick at it too. I would recommend this 100 times over! Easily the best website in NY to buy camera stuff.

  I spoke to a very nice customer service rep and easily completed the transaction. I was also emailed a tracking number for Lumix DMC-GX85. This was all on Wednesday afternoon and much to my surprise I got a knock on the door at 10:00 am Monday. WOW!!! Impressive delivery time! When I opened the box, my order was in there along with a copy of the invoice and the clearance slip. I was also surprised to find some other goodies in the box that were sent gratis. I won't be a spoiler though. You need to order from them yourselves to find out what they send... Thanks Fenway Photo! Keep up the superior service!

  I ordered a camera late Saturday night on April 11th. It was shipped on the Tuesday and arrived in Maine on Friday, April 17th. Very happy with the price, service and speed of delivery. It was my first online purchase but not my last. Thanks Fenway Photo!

  I was searching for a long tome for a specific Sigma camera (dp0 Quattro) and Fenway Photo had one in stock. I read the positive reviews on here and decided to place the order. Very pleased with the customer service and insanely fast delivery. If I didn't know better I would have thought the owner drove to Manhattan to have it delivered it himself, it was that fast.

  This is the best place to go for all your spotting scopes, riflescopes, sights and night vision supplies. The prices are the best and if by chance you do find a product cheaper elsewhere they will price match. Customer service is the best. The atmosphere in the store is fantastic.

  Ordered a Leica M10-P. Shipped to North Dakota by July 12. Factoring in the UPS 3 day backlog delay and cross country shipping during COVID, I'd say this is an acceptable time frame. I did request USPS for delivery but they still shipped with UPS which is the reason I had to wait 1 more day. Camera is in great condition. Thanks Fenway Photo 👍

  Got my first two Pentax cameras from this place! Staff are very helpful and friendly. Good prices for some things lenses mostly but some good ones on cameras too. Soon as my virtual checkout went though they shipped and was packaged great! I'll be ordering from there again.

  UPDATE: Davis acknowledged my complaint and rectified my issue, they're great. Purchased a Nikon D7500 which was said to be new mint from the desciption of the page. It had trademark wear. The grips no longer had the granular texture and letters as it was completely faded. For the price I paid I guess its fine but I still feel a little misled and will be cautious buying surplus from here.

  I'm glad that this shop is local to me. When it's busy it can be a bit of a wait for help but once someone is available I find you have their undivided attention. I get good advice with cameras and lenses purchases and thus far they haven't steered me wrong. Of all the shops in the area I feel this one is the most photography focused but given they have a range and a wide selection of cameras you can't go wrong no matter what you are looking for.

  This is one great shop. Scott and his staff are top in their field. I have known Scott for many years and his service to me and my colleagues has always been totally professional. This is a shop where the customer comes first and Scott is one totally honest and fair guy. His deals and prices are possibly the best in New York.

  I have been to many optics stores up the east coast and this place tops them all. They have a great range of digital cine, camcorders, accessories and their service is second to none. I have 2 other video cameras stores within 15 minutes travel from me but I will always drive the extra 30 - 40 minute just for the service this business offers. 10/10

  Great prices and friendly staff :) ...they are a friendly, lively lot and just as keen to look after you on a small sale as a large one. They listen and offer experienced advice when asked yet let won't look down on a customer who disagrees or chooses otherwise. The advice I've heard them give to beginners demonstrates their passion for the hobby as opposed to their desire for a quick sale that many other dealers have.   Always been very friendly and helpful. A couple of staff members have gone above and beyond in helping me with lenses choice, mount types, cleaning kits and on it goes. Bought Drop-in rear filters & holders from them and they gave me the 15% discount even though I missed the sale weekend. I'll keep going back. Great shop.

  The service I received from Sturat was just excellent. He also gave me valuable pointers on upping my macro-photography essentials. No pushing me to buy the most expensive cameras but just what was needed. I bought a Nikon D610 DSLR Camera with 50mm f/1.8 Tool-Kit. Thanks Stuart. By the way the other gentleman and lady serving were also very nice and helpful.

  Called a few local stores on Monday as a beginner just starting out. Of the stores I called Scott was very friendly and helpful - something I appreciated as I am just learning the ropes. Their shop was the furthest away from me but the great service I had over the phone meant I went there the next day and bought my first telescope from Stuart @ Fenway Photo who was also great.   What a great experience! Had been meaning to stop in here for quite some time, finally got the chance to get in and check out the store and was glad i did! Got some great advice from Scott about a good wedding photography camera for a business startup, he showed me a cameras and offered me a good deal (without feeling induced to buy). Unfortunately could not afford a new camera that day, but managed to grab a few other things i needed while i was there. Will definitely be back in. If only the shop wasn't so far away, it would be my new local camera store otherwise. Thanks for the great service Fenway and team👍👍 Davis.

  As soon as i walked i was amazed by the showroom. So clean and stocked. Went to go buy Rokinon 24, 35, 50, 85mm digital cine and they had exactly what i want at a good price. Definitely my number 1 stop for lenses and pro equipment. Staff were friendly and i got service straight away.

  Really impressed with the the knowledge of the staff. It's made it extremely helpful in buying my first telescope.   Well mannered and helpful. Good range of premium cameras and in particular DSLR, but a bit short on Lens filters, medium and large format accessories. Best to give them a call first if you're going to head down. A bit more expensive than others, but I would pay more for good customer service - beats some other photo shops in New York that's for sure!

If you've written a bad review, I suggest you look in the mirror and reflect on your motive for trying to deter people for visiting this store. No one is perfect and we all can improve in some way.   Great place, always a convivial ambiance as you enter and are addressed by name. They're willing to set up packages, as well as deal with indecisiveness of customers (such as myself) very professionally and in a way which benefits the customer wholly. With a fair selection of Fujifilm cameras, lenses and accessories of all value levels, they have something for everyone. While their prices are a little higher than their larger competitor on the northside, the consistently amazing service will leave customers happy and willing to return.

  Absolutely good service here. You have to remember that these guys deal with people all day that should listen instead of talk, so if they aren't as friendly as you feel they should be, you need to be patient, and ask good questions and then listen to the answers. Overall, they have a good selection here, and they will help you find what you are looking for.

  Awesome customer service. I asked a bunch of questions and they answered them all. Even though I was new to this they made the experience that much better. They showed me a few cameras and explained them (pros and cons). They didn't force a sale so when I decide on the one I want I will definitely purchase it from them... Also they don't sell cigarettes they sell pro gear!😅

  I see quite a few reviews here about bad attitudes at this business? I didn't encounter anything but friendly good people here...i brought my elderly mother here to get her a Hasselblad H6D-50 for personal shooting. They treated her like their own mom.very down to earth...kind..helpful..no nonsense staff is what I found

  Outstanding group of guys at Fenwayphoto. Huge selection of cameras both new and used. Upper end optics selection is quite nice and massive amount of all other accessories. From lighting to cleaning supplies and even binoculars supplies I was blown away by their volume of photography related bits and pieces. Friendly guys who offer a trade-in treaty haven for those wanting to quickly dispose used cameras to private individuals. I have done two camera trade-ins and even bought a excellent valued Canon EOS R5 on my last visit. Fenwayphoto continues to impress.

  First time customer at this store. Popped in looking to purchase a new Fujifilm GFX system and was helped as promptly as they could, there were a few people in line before me but I was acknowledged when I walked in and the wait wasn't very long. Plus, it gave me time to check out the plethora of things they offer. They have quite a few new/used cameras/lenses in stock and prices on them are reasonable, lots of accessories in stock at decent prices too. Stuart helped me with my purchase, he was very knowledgeable and straightforward. He was more than happy to answer all my questions to the best of his ability and show me around the camera I was purchasing. Jason assisted me with pickup of my GFX Camera and was also happy to help with the other things I was there to purchase. Overall a good atmosphere with friendly service and a knowledgeable staff. I'll definitely be coming back!

  I purchased a camera from Fenway Photo yesterday August 7th, 2019. This is my first go to and the gent who i believe to be either the owner or sales manager of the store whose name is Stuart was the most patient and helpful person I could have had the pleasure to deal with. He explained in great detail the differences between the cameras he had and was very willing to go more in depth if I had a question or didn't fully understand. Going beyond showing me the cameras and telling me the price and taking time to make sure i was well educated is what gives them an excellent rating in my book.

  As a new resident, I stopped by last Monday, to get information on drone operations in Ny. After a short wait, all my questions were answered and the hands on demonstration of quadcopters was excellent. In the beginning, I advised I was not buying a drone yet they still stayed with me, showed me a variety of models and answered questions. I will be going back.

  First time binocular buyer. Stepped into this place and got nothing but excellent customer service. The guy named Stuart spent time assisting me in finding the right firearm that suits my wants and needs. The owner was very attentive as well.   Seems always ahead of the game! I buy quite a bit of camera equipment (Lumix and Canon), and have done so in many countries (I have a fast-paced life). When it comes to the top-end, there are just a handful of stores that give bespoke service. But...in terms of customer service Fenwayphoto in NY is unparalleled!!

  Wow, wow, wow. I can't recall when last I got this service of this level of expertise! I sent them an email query to which they gave feedback off the bat (already an accomplishment) - thank you, Sloane. I asked more questions that was promptly answered and I placed my order. My package arrived less than 24 hours later. Another query that I sent at the same time to a competitor was answered after I got my first notification from Sloane that the commercial venture was underway… Well done guys, I am hugely impressed!

  I only entered this store with my Z CAM E2-F6 Full-Frame 6K cinema camera with the entrenched mindset not to add to cart, but how lucky did I get to meet such a humorous, informed and patient staff member by the name of Jamie Sloan, one of the best shopping experience in ever had buying gear, knowing I got exactly what I need. If only shops had more people like Sloane Amazon would be in the red.

  Great shop, good range of products, very nice team and fair, i went to buy a telescope there the guy there was very kind and helpful, didn’t try to push me to buy and eventually gave a discount for the beginner reflector i chose which was actually the lowest price i saw on the web.   Fenway is the emblematic of exceptional service. I tip my hat to Fenway Photo and Sloane for the far-reaching service regarding the purchase of a Nikon lens. I really am blown away by how efficient, reliable and well-priced you guys are. Having back-ordered a lens in B& H hours ago, I really hadn’t anticipated it cancelling the order there “free delivery” – especially at this time of year. That is mind-blowingly unbelievable.

  I ordered 2 MicroSD cards and one battery for a normal camera, Panasonic T200, two days later I received the package an they included some accessories for free, I couldn't believe tthey could do it in 48 hours.   My dad, attended a Nikon-sponsored photographic workshop on 16.7.2019 which proved to provide an excellent tutelage. In particular, being disabled, he was thoroughly impressed with the welcome and pragmatic assistance provided by the staff at the specialty store - they couldn't have been more helpful! The only way that his experience could have been better would be if the information could have included helping Sony Alpha camera owners to evolve their knowledge of the potential of such cameras but since the afternoon was sponsored by Nikon (and Brand-Paid Photographer, I think), this is hardly a criticism ! All round, our grateful thinks to all concerned and we're planing to come again.

  I was in the shop today asking for advice on a lens purchase for my Canon EOS M50 mirrorless camera . Top quality discussion the merits and capabilities of Canon and compatible lenses with Sloane who was very knowledgeable and completely unbiased. I had the same kind of high quality discussion a year ago when I bought a 50mm f/1.8 lens kit. Top marks

  Fenway Imaging... Excellent listening service. As a beginner but fairly creative, independent filmmaker i treasure local shops where i can go, see and hopefully handle equipment in person.   The shop is aesthetically exquisite and pleasing decked out in corporate blue. Importantly you can see the gear clearly. There are male and female assistants and all appear knowledgeable and helpful. I like that sales assistants in here are confident enough to refer me to their colleague/s if they believe they can be more helpful.

  I was combing through all over New York for a very specific Fisheye lenses, with focal length of less than 15mm, and was told at every other shop either "we don't stock it" or "It's backordered for weeks and weeks and weeks." Fortunately, I decided to try out Fenway Phot. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by an extremely friendly young man and directed to the Lens department. Not only was he friendly, he was had Polished knowledge about the products, inside and out (it turns out, he worked for Fuji before coming to Fenway Photo). He listened to what I needed, and then told me exactly which lens was right for me (it was the one I expected, but I wasn't sure). He even opened up the display case, and allowed me to test out different lenses on my own camera, record some video with them, and see what I thought. In an era of ordering everything online (I even ordered the camera itself online without trying it), this is a big deal - and a giant leap from the experience I'm used to.

  I arrived in New York during the Covid Pandemic and within hours, my old camera died. I got great service and recommendations from Fenway Photo and ended up buying a used G7X Mark II from them. The also filled out all the tax paperwork and I got the refund later at the airport. I took literally tens of thousands of photos during my next couple of months traveling and the camera continues to work great. Thanks,Fenway Photo!

  It's when things go amiss that you know who you are really dealing with. So kudos to the manager in Fenway Photo store because when things went wrong with the pick up of a telescope from there recently, he didn't get defensive or pretend that somehow i the customer was wrong. Rather as i handled the matter as patiently as i could, the manager restored my hope that some Camera shops in central America are not merely at their death throes in the teeth of the dark Amazon cloud. When i get time I'd like to visit the store because t's hard to believe that all camera stores can be great. Fenway Photo and help desk, thank you for an excellent service in good times and bad. Sloane, Jonathan and all colleagues… You are appreciated and recommended!

  I value Fenway Photo staff knowledge even though it might not be fashionable to value shop assistants since they are not celebrities. Through my research and instinctive approach i'd like to be as certain as i can that i like the technical properties and ergonomics of the kit I'm probing. I value Fenway Photo because the staff have shown me a patience that several camera shops evidently lack. I don't feel any pressure to buy in central NY with Fenway Photo.

  My interaction with Fenway Photo assistants is a refreshing experience. It leads me to believe that the customer administrative and shop floor staff are acclimatized to earfuls from their clients. This listening is more valuable to me than the alienation of the Prime Amazon hit and miss convenience experience or the abyss of the high street. My first time: I first came to Fenway Photo because another probably larger high street shop let me down and wouldn't put things right although they admitted they'd messed up multiple times. Everyone will won' agree but i want to spend where I'm respected.

  We went to check out this place as my wife has a Sony Alpha a7R III and wanted to see the types of lens that you can interchange to boost the quality of pictures taken. The person who served us was very knowledgeable and certainly knew many details of the DSLR camera and showed and told us what pictures went with what lens which was very helpful. Although it was not a big shop, it stocked the most recent cameras and lens, and we even drooled at the Mercedes Benz of cameras (just our opinion here)... the Leica. They also give one-to-one lessons and group lessons for free which is a plus!

  Happily in my experience, the Fenway Photo staff don't rush you as soon as you enter the shop. The shop always seems to have enough sales assistants. The latest gear and used stock are visible. Used stock can be a big help to those of us who cant always buy new. I also like the way you can look online and have the item sent to your local store at no cost, without obligation.

  I first met the guys from Fenway photo during the New York Photo Safari in September 2015. They are friendly, knowledgeable and happy to help and provide advice, whilst making sure you get the most you can for your money. I own several bits of Fenway photo kits including their stunningly good and fantastically cheap cameras/lenses, tripod stands and Canon EOS (one of my main imaging cameras) and several other bits of kit that have been supplied by Fenway photo. In the last 2 years, I haven't bought new photography kit from anyone else; I get guaranteed quality, honest advice, exceptional service, super-fast delivery and the best price possible.

  Inevitably something goes wrong sometime, and the mark of a good company is dealing with these problems when they happen. First rate customer service from FENWAY people to sort out a picking error in my order. A quick fuss-free call and it was resolved in double-quick time. Keep up the good work guys!
