  Things were a little slow at first but once the shipment details got sorted out everything went like a dream. The Canon WP-DC56 water-impermeable case for PowerShot G1 X Mark III arrived almost 1 week early, which for a 300 miles shipment to Tennessee was unbelievable. Sloane sorted out everything brilliantly. He even managed to give me some advise after arrival. On the polymer body they hide some screws under a plastic cover and then provide no explanation in any of the manuals or on-line information as to how to access them. Price also can't be beat. I checked almost every supplier on Amazon US and Amazon UK as well as E-Bay and he had the best deal. Highly recommended.

  There are so many reasons to love Fenway Photo, the quantity and quality of the information every representative has is so helpful. They have a diversity of photography and film equipment that any professional would like. The place looks ok its nothing ostentatious but the costumer services products and level of professionalism are hands down the best! If you are an amateur dont be afraid to ask they will answer all your questions and have prices that begin at $600 for those who dont need to spend too much! Love you guys keep up the amazing job!

  Have landed in this store many times and they are inspiring! They were the only place I could find in the area with mirrorless cameras from Nikon & Leica. I believe they are the only authorized retailer for Leica in the area as well. Their return policy is pretty transparent (14 days) and when I did have to return something it was easy and fuss free. You only get an in-store credit when you return items, but there is plenty in the store to choose from. They have a large selection of camera bags, which was very helpful. They have used items as well, which is nice if you are looking to save some money. Most importantly, their prices are very competitive as they are usually very close to, if not the same as, other reputable online camera stores. I wish they were closer to me, because it is a great little store. The staff is very, very helpful and always pleasant to speak with. If you are in to photography, you should definitely give Fenway Photo a look as not only do they have great prices, and often instant rebates to lower the prices even more, but they have a great selection of cameras and accessories.

  I just had my first experience here and it a great one. I walked in and was welcomed wholeheartedly. They were all very informative and answered a lot of questions that I haven't been able to get answered at other places. After my interaction with the sales associate, I immediately felt confident in spending $2500 to purchase my Fujifilm 24-70 mm lens. This will definitely be my number one stop for my future photography needs.

  I've been to lots of camera stores and the work they do here is incredible. Sensor cleaning prices are reasonable and they run film Dev and export the scans to Dropbox, convenient!). They also have a pretty vast selection of used lenses (vintage, digital and exotics) which you can rent and buy. The space is clean and the employees are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. My best compliment is that this is a place where people who shoot go buy and develop. There business serves photographers get their best pictures. The employees also really care too.

  Absolutely awesome shop. If you’re in the market for the latest digital camera, this is definitely your place. If you want any genres of film camera—or information and camaraderie—you’ll feel right at home. The walls are decked out in Kodak Brownies to Polaroid instants (the real ones) to staple manual SLRs to even a small wall of the last auto-focus models before everything went digital. The crew is friendly and experienced, and they can help you find what you’re looking for. On weekends, expect to find a few people hanging out. They carry a phenomenal variety of 35mm, 120, and instant film and can provide black and White developing service.

  I was suspicious after they declined the price for fixing my Canon EOS and when I arrived they told me my issues were a no-brainer to fix. They disassembled and tidied up my camera in about 5 minutes, made some recommendations for a new lens and sent me on my way without a charge. I appreciate the honesty in not charging me for the repair. I'll definitely be back when I need more help!

  First time, grateful customer. Came in on a conditional visit for some Lumix DMC-FZ300 and some professional instant Black& White film. Great customer service, very reasonable prices, and cool dudes to boot! Large assortment of vintage equipment, accessories and FILM! Fresh stock on what I bought. They even found an original lens cap for my 110 lens. NICE! Will definitely be back again. Toying with creativity? :)

  Pre-ordered my first DSLR from Fenway Photo. These guys are bright as a button. They are professional, knowledgeable and very helpful. I've been back several times and the experience is always the same. Also, I had acquired high quality prints done there and the clarity, which is most important to me, was excellent. The pricing was very fair and the turnaround time was fine. I will definitley be buying any upgraded equipment from them.

  I want to commend Stuart, the salesman who sold me my new Nikon D5600. I am new to the technology of this camera and he helped me select my top-notch.   This camera hub is TOP-NOTCH!. I am a novice photographer and they helped me with every single question I had (not even knowing if I'd buy anything ). Gave me all the time in the world and were extremely helpful. After researching and comming back for my purchase my beginner Leica SL (Typ 601) Full-frame Mirrorless Digital Camera. The nice gentleman remembered me and immediately helped me get my stuff together and gave me some tips and showed me a few things on it. Bought my camera and I've never been happier. It's a bit of a ride for me as I live in Albany NY but definitely worth it. Will stop by when in the area and pick their insights for more stuff that I will need. Recently bought a bigger lens and some filters for better clarity n precision. They made a life long customer out of me.

  Fenway Photo is almost the only real camera store left in NY. They also repair cameras, and is a brand-name source referred by many players such as Nikon. They have an interesting camera collection and friendly, helpful staff. They are geared to the serious camera lover, but I also got my purse-like camera case here. They don't do free foto walks like k&m does, but they have suggested photo locations that do. They have been in NY decades and is considered the city's’ premier photographic source. They are the largest photographic facility in town. They offer old and new cameras, darkroom supplies, photo gear, lights & printers. I may not use all that, but it is fun to wander the store.

  Always proactive, emphatic, and kind! It's a great place to ask questions about Fujifilm or Canon fans or get technical tips. They have pretty much every kind of Fujifilm possible (film, mirrorless, and DSLR). I've heard people say that Fenway Photo is expensive, but it's not. I've found both cameras and equipment cheaper here in the store than on Amazon, Adorama, or used B&H.

  Fenway Photo is a rich source of audio, optical and video, our go-to place for the best deals on camera and video equipment. Furthermore, if we have any questions about how something works, they have the answers. We can also walk in with an "alluring" photo shoot and ask for best settings and recommendations on how to do the shoot. Like I said, they are our final destination for anything camera, video, or printing.

  Renowned merchant stocking photo gear, lighting, accessories, and new/used ccameras and lenses. This old store location packs quite everything a photographer would want. Cameras, equipment, and accouterments for your kit abound, with a great selection of used items and staff that are phenomenal. They tackle issues, guide you shop, and will never try to wring a sale out of you that you didn't want (to a certain limit), so go with questions and to learn the ropes and be pleased.

  This place is a photographer's heaven. A vast proportion of all my dream cameras, lenses and gear you could ever want. The staff is always very patient and knowledgable. I also prefer that you can buy second-hand equipment for a grain of the cost of new equipment - definitely helpful with such an expensive hobby like photography. I would recommend doing research on the equipment you're considering beforehand, however. Once you get to the store it can be a bit electrifying with the mountanious options available, so it's good to have a starting point to discuss with the real experts there.

  Very established camera store and large constellation of not only cameras and lens' but also of bags and accessories. I feel much better about coughing up $300 on a backpack if I can put my hands on it and make sure that it has the capacity and functionability that I need before buying it and you are not sacrificing price by buying here either. Hands down a better choice than buying online!

  I want to commend this place. On this side of town I can't think of many other places with such a full-blown list of photography and videography supplies. They have a large slew of lighting equipment, audio equipment, cameras, lenses, accessories, and printing materials. They also cover film users by packing film, batteries, developing chemicals, and vintage film camera equipment. Further, if you take a look at their website they also have options for lens and body rentals which can be really pragmatic for those looking to test out the equipment prior to purchase. That said the rentals shouldn't be looked at as an option for repeat renting because you can surely find competitive prices online for that.

  Fenway Photo is a valuable resource to me to because I'm able to discuss the subject matter face-to-face with sales personnel who know their equipment well and have the hands-on skills set to provide expertise when you are trying to reach a decision. You simply cannot get that level of service online or from one of the big box vendors. And, my experience is that their prices are the same as internet. It is also an added plus to be able to take your camera or lens back to Fenway Photo if you have a problem instead of having to ship it off to the manufacturer factory. Fenway Photo takes care of that for you if they cannot make the rectifications themselves. I cannot think of a puzzle they do not solve and, as you can tell, I am a very satisfied customer.

  I started using Fenway Photo about 8 years ago and i frequently visit them for everything I need. I have purchased every bit of my equipment from them as well. I just picked up all of my equipment today after being tidied up and calibrated. These dudes know their stuff like the palm of your hands. They have a well stocked store, so if you can't find what you need somewhere else, I'm betting you can find it here. There are always plenty of staff members ready to help you. I love this place!

  Fenway Photo is the best optics/glass giant left. I have a feeling the stores in New York won't be around much longer. It's the best one, but for some reason it's just always seems like a ghost town. They even match the lowest price on Amazon. Best Buy can't even compete with the customer service, insane product inventory, and online price matching. Keep supporting Fenway!

  When I first visited Fenway Photo store I knew that this was the reigning place in NYC to go for the best in cameras, equipment, and KNOWLEDGE. And once I bought my camera it became obvious that these people take care of their customers, during and after the sale.   Had a very pleasurable experience at this shop. I needed to have the membrane glass substituted on my Panasonic screen and they were very responsive to my emails a few days prior, confirming that it was in stock. When I went in, they said it'd only take a few minutes to replace it. In the meantime, I was shooting the breeze with another employee about lenses and mirrorless cameras. The selection was pretty nice too.

  My college professor introduced me to this store during an art class. I haven’t raised enough money to buy a DSLR but I had one rented from their store, until later I graduated in 2016. I returned one day to buy my starting Lumix (it was less costly to Amazon). Stuart gave time to guide me through the stages of my novice photographer to be an accomplished photographer. Now I own a full frame mirrorless camera and studio lighting purchased from Fenway Photo. At times, they have discouraged me from buying some pieces of equipment, and I trust them enough to buy what they suggest me and it was never wrong. Sales team understands the level of my photography knowledge and helps me to buy what I need. I would recommend this store to anyone. Thanks

  An impeccable treat. Since a photography teacher recommended Fenway Foto to me, every time I went there, I was attended w/excellence: last year, when I bought a Fujifilm X-100; three weeks ago, when I had a Benro tripod; and at the beginning of this week, when, on the issue of neutral density filters, I wanted to start practicing long daytime exposures, Craig had enough patience - and it was time to discuss - to give me four more tips, practically for working the approach with the Fuji X-T2. Thank you very much, Craig and other colleagues from Fenway for your kindness and for your dedication to the clientele and the dissemination of the art photography.

  The US photo benchmark. I came here as a photo student on a recommendation. It is the most expensive and the best. Had to shell out a 50 bucks for 12 black and white color reel (regardless of format). Check the used cameras that they have there, pure jewels, but remember what I said, very expensive trades off as they sell with a guarantee. They also repair (expensive, but who do you trust with your money-cheap or quality?)

  The best photo and video store in NY and probably in the US. Wide variety of professional equipment and delightfully personalized attention. He took care of me and advised me, Craig, (for me it was an important investment) and as a professional technician I give 10/10, at a very beautiful human level. Very close, you notice that he knows what he is talking about. Any questions they solve, look for info, contrast, can offer packs and offers. The price is competitive or even cheaper than buying online, with the security and guarantee that you know where to go if something goes wrong or there is any doubt. Very happy. I definitely recommend the store professionally.

  It is a huge store, with multi floors full of photography and video instruments. Digital mostly, but they also have a section for the analog. I like this spot a lot because they also give many workshops and presentations of new equipment that you can attend without any commitment.   Recently ordered a new Olympus lens from Fenway Photo, and the service could not have been better.   Brilliant customer service received in store today. Went in to get some advice on astronomical image processing at home and was given detailed advice on not only how to harvest troves of astrophotography from raw content but also what purpose it served.   When I Incorporated a family Real Estate company in Louisville KY 15 years ago, I felt it was lucrative to invest in a new camera to generate viral images for the properties hitting the market. I needed high-level expertise in which camera was the best for the job and felt rather than buying online and scrambling on which one to buy, I'd pay Fenway Photo a visit. The gentleman that served me was extremely helpful, really knowledgeable and took the time to show me how the camera worked and set it up for me. After finding out how long the shop has been there for and the hard work he's put in over the years through recessions and the number of people visiting the city dropping.   Ever helpful and friendly. It's tough for them to compete with behemoths like Adorama prices when VA tax is added (assuming you use the large stores with charge card to deflect the tax), but you get to feel top-dollar equipment and receive great advice. Shop local when you can. I just bought some Tamron lens from them and received a lot of assistance.

  Last year I bought a camera at Fenway after discussing my wishes with Mr. Jonathan. He recommended a Fujifilm X-A7 reflector with a 24-megapixel sensor and a hybrid autofocus system. This entry-level APS-C has proved to be an excellent purchase making digital photography for a non expert a pleasure. I have bought several accessories since and in the current situation can still do so with mail order.   In the age of Amazon where most purchases of camera gear is internet-driven or at a big box chains, it is optimistic to have a place like Fenway. It is much larger than you might expect, with a tremendous variety of new & used gear, and one if the largest camera gear flotilla I've ever seen. The sales people are very helpful and knowledgeable.   Went in during a Fujifilm Promotion Day as my first experience at this store! Very Happy with their staff and their product knowledge on a vast variety of equipment and accessories. It is rare as the China teapot in orbit to find these type of places. I expect we will be back in the future even though it is not a short trip for us to get there.   My family has established deep relationships with Willoughby's Camera as a source of all camera equipment for a number of years, and it's definitely worth the drive. Today, my father and I were assisted by Jonathan, and although we spent over an hour, he never once implied that he needed to help other customers. Jonathan was very patient and helpful, and I felt very informed with what I decided to purchase from them. This definitely beats doing research and making a purchase solely online, as we received in-product assistance in-store and were also able to test out lenses on our personal camera. Cannot state enough how positive our experience always is, and we will definitely be back again soon.

  Needed a spare part for a Fujifilm X-H1 mount, had almost given up through 'don't bother me' attitude of most dealers, for whom after-sale service seems to be too much trouble. Stumbled on Fenway Photo by serendipity, but what a bit of luck. The part I needed was in stock, no 'I'll order it in 24hrs, it might take six months', and delivered to me the following morning. The lady who took the order, over the phone, was both helpful and pleasant to deal with to boot! Couldn't recommend more highly on the basis of this, proper service still exists in our online world. My first port of call next time!

  I contacted Fenway Photo with some technical questions I had on the Meade ETX 90 Observer telescope. Alex the man in question was extremely helpful and patient with my questions. The price was very competitive, couldn't be beaten, and free delivery. The order was placed mid-afternoon on Tuesday and arrived on my doorstep mid-morning on Wednesday. Apart from flying in by helicopter the speed of delivery would be hard to beat! It looks to be an awesome piece of kit and will take me a while to get to grips with it. However, I know that Fenway Photo staff will be there if I need any help. Thanks again for great service and price!

  We walked in to get information about a few entry-level telescope models we were interested in.
