  I would highly recommend this company. They didn't have all of a part I ordered yet they called me to discuss a different solution which worked out great. Then they didn't even charge me for the upgrade. You don't find customer service like that anymore.

  The only thing that was cheap about my order was the price. We received a quality product which was delivered via freight to our sidewalk innperfect condition. We now have a beautiful set of modern treads at the entire staircase.

  Arrive on time by freight and all parts in good condition - very little sanding will be necessary. Was sent a fourteen foot rail instead of an eight foot one but no extra charge. I expected no joints, but there are, so could have peaced shorter peaces and save a lot on shipping by UPS

  Wow! Great customer service and excellent selection of stair parts. Michelle and Sheryl helped me understand which parts I needed to order. They even added items to my existing order for me.The delivery team is the best I have worked with. They put all the items on the floor, counted to make certain everything was delivered, and then snapped photos.I called customer service about 5 minutes after the delivery team left because I thought an item was missing. They looked at the photos and told me exactly where the item was located. Fantastic!

  Quick shipping, great products, excellent prices and exactly what I ordered. The only complaint was there were a few black fingerprints on some of the railings. Possibly from previously handling the iron balusters I ordered. These were easily sanded off and did not affect the final product. I would definitely order from them again.

On the last order I placed, I made a mistake, so I sent an email to their support and they immediately corrected the issue and refunded the corrected amount back to my credit card.   My red oak stair tread looks more white than red, but that may just be natural variation, but shipping was expensive and the tread arrived with a gash on one back edge from transit. I can place this edge on the bottom, didn’t want to deal with hassle of replacing.

  That is correct, Red Oak, before staining, is a lighter shade. Also, we would have replaced that one product damaged from shipping for free. If you still want the replacement, let us know.As for the cost of shipping, a single tread weighs about 15 pounds and are a very awkward shape + the distance from Houston to Northern Cali is quite far. I wish shipping was more forgiving on stair parts also!

  Great company!99% of parts were of fantastic quality. Ordering was easy. Delivery speed was reasonable.Couple of minor parts were missing and one baluster was a bit thick. They asked for a picture and promptly sent replacement. Fantastic company overall and I'll happily buy from them again.

  Ordered balusters for our new stair railings. Product was sent right away and came within a couple days. Very happy with that! Our contractor over estimated the number we needed so need to return some. Called Cheap Stair Parts and found out there is a 25% restocking fee plus the return shipping. That’s the reason for the three-star average rating because I feel 25% restocking fee is out of line and probably won’t be worth the cost to return.
