  Second time ordering from this company in a month and they are beyond fabulous we needed to get an additional two basket balusters and they got them there within two days from Texas and did not hold up our job. One bit paid for regular shipping. They are amazing. Cheaper than anyone I have ever used for this product.

  Just recived the oak stair treads I ordered. They are beautiful with good craftmanship. Unfortunateley one had a split from the delivery process. I contacted customer support and they resolved the issue and had a new one sent out within an hour. We deal with a lot of vendors, contractors etc. This level of customer support is rare these days.   The company definitely lives up to its name- cheap stair parts. I was able to get a railing part for 75% cheaper than I found it on Wayfair. The website was easy to navigate and very informative to help me make all of my decisions. I was able to purchase everything for my project except for the long rails that are problematic with shipping and purchase those in my hometown. Very happy and surprised about the no shipping over $750. So happy I came across the website and was able to get everything I needed. Thank you.

  In total I bought 10 angled base shoes. 3 had nibs I had to sand off to fit the balusters in. One was not salvageable. 3 of them had set screws that stripped. This meant I had to hacksaw and throw away two balusters ($50/ea) to remove them. The balusters were turned off center and the other loose, but I couldn’t change them. One of the set screws stripped just opening it up to insert the baluster. The balusters were great but the angled base shoes were cheap junk.

  I purchased Skandi newel posts, balusters and rails fro, cheap stair parts. It was easy to create my order, questions I had were answered quickly, ordered on a Monday and parts arrived on Friday of the same week very well packaged and in excellent shape. Prices are very good, maybe even cheap, but the parts are NOT cheaply made! Highly recommend this supplier!!!

  Whilst the prices for the products were great ($172 for a 20’ modern wooden railing) the shipping fee was $385! This is clearly where they make up for the cheap pricing for the goods. Quite a scam!

  I was skeptical at first and a bit cautious because my order was worth over 2 grand but read the reviews and went with cheapstairparts.com and wanted to share my experience. I ordered the parts on 06/27 and it shipped 06/28 and it arrived today 07/02 via Southeastern Freight Lines (which was also an awesome carrier). I inspected everything and counted all the pieces and all are accounted for, The parts are of good quality especially the red oak newell posts, beautiful pieces!!   I had a fairly simple order, 11 stair treads with 11 risers. The order was broken into 3 deliveries with the first one being on time and the remaining two being late. I put specific instructions to call or email before delivering items as the address was vacant. We did not get a call or email for any of the deliveries. On the positive side the order was complete with no damage to the parts.

  Your order was shipped in 3 boxes because the items are too big to go into one single box. These all shipped and delivered within the quoted timeframe on our website. We quote 3-6 days ground and we delivered in 5. Ground shipments do not require a phone call for delivery, only heavy freight. I'm glad you got your order on time and with no damage. I believe we deserve the full 5 stars for meeting every expectation set.

  Sorry but you are incorrect with your dates. I have emails showing the last 2 boxes were delayed. Why do you give an option for notification if you aren’t going to do it? If we would have know you wouldn’t have notified us we would have shipped it to the address where we live, not the address we are remodeling.

  I ordered 15 six foot lengths of 3/4"oak cove molding for my stair project. Several pieces had obvious defects. These are stain grade, not paint grade. I can probably work around them since they will be cut and fitted to the treads, but am disappointed that this made it through the inspection process.

  Considering our return policy is on clear display and the check out even prompts you to read our terms calling it sneaky is pretty lame on your part. You know why the industry standard is 25 to 30% restocking fee on buyer remorse returns? We have to pay people to receive in, inspect, re-box and restock the products. We don't even factor in the money lost used to advertise to get the order or the orders we ship for free. I suggest you use your eyes and read the sites moving forward so you don't have to leave a cowardly anonymous review about something clearly visible to all before they order.

  I knew the policy and thought I had ordered correctly. Others should know to be very careful to not order too much for their project. I did not seek out your company to give a review. Maybe you shouldn’t send multiple requests for a review if you don’t want to know how I honestly feel about your policy. I wasn’t telling anyone not to buy from you, just to make sure they don’t order too much. It’s better to pay some extra shipping for a reorder than to lose 25% on perfectly good product. Your attitude to my opinion has me questioning if my review should have been harsher. Your responses are not customer service friendly at all. Perhaps someone else should be answering these reviews. Your attitude towards a real customer’s opinion will hurt your company worse than any random review. I am also still getting emails asking for more reviews from your company. I just deleted one today.

  No, I did not agree on phone. I told her that the total return amount is half of what I paid. that is 50%. 19 of 38 is not 25%. It is not a lie. You just do not like that it is the truth. The truth is paying 39 dollars and getting 19 back from something that is not used is ridiculous. The amount is 50% less than you paid, so that is true.

  Customer Service, Customer Service....I visited the site during a 20% off everything sale. I followed the directions on how to obtain the code, but for whatever reason it would not work. I contacted the company and they responded very quickly with a code to use which was much appreciated. I haven't yet received my order, but it processed extremity fast (hours).   Cheapstairparts.com is my go-to place for millwork and hardware needed to complete the railing for my stairs. Their prices are, indeed, lower than anyone else I could find (definitely for custom millwork houses which end up being a middle man and hike up prices, but also when comparing with the big box stores). Once shipping/handling costs are filtered in, it is still on par or better. Everything is done automatically, but when customer service is needed it is there! Once I ordered and they contacted me to make sure I had everything correct (wood species the same for all that I was ordering).
