  I thought they had a great selection with good pricing. The design tool allowed us to play with several options nice to have that available. We were impressed with the quality when arrived.   quality is excellent, price of the item is very competitive, timely delivery but the shipping costs are too high. should consider including USPS flat rate for smaller items such as my purchase. Maybe they are trying to make a profit on shipping costs?

  Hey there. None of these parts fit into any USPS Flat rate box, and UPS is actually cheaper once you get into the heavier or larger sized boxes. Our website connects directly to the UPS site and you can get your own shipping costs to compare and you will see that we make no money off shipping. Google shopping also requires us to list the correct retail rate of UPS to make sure of this.We have fought with shipping companies for 13 years, I don't see it getting any easier for everyone other than Amazon.

  The price and quality were good. Disappointed with the packing (or lack of) and the shipping container.The railings had no wrapping or padding at all, ie not wrapped in paper, or plastic or anything. The result was a few dings and dirty markings on both. It looked as if someone just literally tossed them in the cardboard container.The container was a long cardboard cylinder, which is fine, yet one end was completely torn open. I suspect this may be due to the shipping company but not sure.Your offerings are exactly what I'm looking for, yet I have doubts about future purchases as I live in California.

  Placed an order online and paid with my CC. 2 days later I get an email telling me part of the order I placed was discontinued. After contacting customer service prior to placing order to answer questions. No call from representative. After several attempts there was no accommodation made on the the part of Cheap Stair Parts or concern about the delay in my job. I had to cancel the order and the representative said OK. Not pleased with how this was handled at all. Very disappointing as I researched the company and was expecting the same results that others have documented.

  I ordered 6 newel posts for our new house and they arrived quickly - in 3 days. One of them, however, was damaged when it arrived. I took pictures and contacted Cheap Stair Parts and let them know. I was able to email the pictures and was told that a new post would be sent out. It was sent the next day by ups ground with extra packaging to make sure that it wouldn’t be damaged. It also arrived in three days. Shipment was from Houston TX and I live in Savannah, GA. I was pleased with the company’s support and the product was exactly what we needed. Thank you CSP.

  I found this company online— We recently had our cabinets painted and the only advice that he could give was to check eBay. I did and I didn’t find anything that was local that was in the United States. I found this company and ordered over 120 spindles for our staircase. It worked out perfectly!

  Prices are alright and previous shipping was fast, but when I needed to drop the big order, I get an email a couple of days later, "yeah, sorry, we're out. It'll be in in a month or so, maybe longer, can't really say". If you're out, don't let me order. Shipping is fast, and at a reasonable threshold they include shipping, so that gets them out of one star territory, but if I have another choice in the future, I'll most likely go elsewhere.FOLLOW-UP:You can see from the emotional tone of the vendor, his personal affront to being held accountable. You advertised a product, let the transaction proceed and couldn't fulfill. I completed the order with the hollow because of time. The company has NO problem taking your money, it only becomes a problem when they have to wall back from fulfillment and try and hide behind, "its not me, its you." Shameful.If this process had just been owned with an apology and a promise to look into improving predictability with the system, we would be fine to just call this an off quality transactrion. However, based on the owner's unprofessional and emotional immaturity, I will truly never buy again and make sure all my coworkers know about this experience. I won't downgrade the rating any further, I'm just moving on. Best of luck to anyone future customers who read this review and continue anyway, hopefully I'm the last customer that is treated this way.

  Customer ordered Friday Afternoon and we sent an email early Monday letting him know one of his parts was on backorder. In the email we apologized, offered solutions for alternate products and our phone # to discuss options. We did not word it like the customer is claiming. We are not those kind of people.David however, is those kind of people. What we received back from this customer was the most nasty and rude email you can imagine. Who talks like this to complete strangers? Saying he is completely disgusted by our terrible customer service and said we are just out to rip him off. Really David? Would you go to the local store, only to find out they ran out of eggs and then scream at the cashier?Follow Up : I only wish the way you spoke to us in your first private email was how you speak publicly. We have thousands of positive reviews and plenty of service awards over the years. Our staff are pleasant, friendly and helpful to every customer. They did not deserve to be treated in the manner you treated them. Sorry, but shame on you.

  Have had two orders. Iron and wood products. Both products appear to be good quality. As expected, the wood product took longer to deliver as they are apparently made on demand. Very pleased with the packaging to ensure they don't get damaged. Both arrived promptly. When the second order had been miscounted, Michelle fixed the error (without argument) and was amazing in getting me the parts promptly so my install could continue on time. Deserving of 5 stars.
