  Ordered 4 railing components from a local building supply co. After they incorrectly ordered them twice and delayed our contractor by 2 weeks I found the same exact parts on Cheap Stair Parts and had them within days. Local price was $116 ea. Got them through CSP for $20.38 ea. Great service over the phone, easy to order the right part.

  Parts were quickly shipped and received promptly and in great condition. Only complaint would be that the set screws for the shoes are full of powder coat and are a pain to clean out. Recommend doing this prior to install.

  I searched up and down for a solution for my deck that has two sloped sides that don't allow nails. Cheap Stairs Parts has the stainless railing I wanted, and the representative, Christina, worked with me and the company's engineer to come up with an ingenious design allowing me to use the existing pieces they offer to build this beautiful railing. Christina was smart, patient, and very pleasant to work with. I am very grateful to the services and products I have received.

  White oak newel post design is real nice but quality of the wood material is mixed. 2 of its sides appear to be made of white oak but I cannot tell if the other 2 sides are made of white oak, red oak. Most likely a combination of both species glued together and they are of different shades which give appearance of chessboard at some areas. Not completely satisfied with it but i also am not unsatisfied, just ok.

  I am so very pleased with the quality of the merchandise. It exceeded my expectations. The oak newel posts, railing and other accessories required very little sanding prior to finishing. The wrought iron balusters are very well made. Even the shipping was fast and expertly bpackaged.We are installing this ourselves. The quality of the instructions could not be better.

  Cheap Stair Parts have the materials I needed to make my stairs beautiful. Service is great. Delivery came quickly. Quality of products are top notch. Packaging are very well done and the products came in well protected. Price is good considering they would beat out any price out there with additional 5% off. I had my items sat in my cart and forgot about them. They sent emails to remind me and so I bought from them. The materials were from House of Forgings.

  First off, the stair treads did not match the color of the risers. Secondly, all material was fashioned with only a thin veneer of oak - not what is best for wear. Lastly, the stairs were somewhat warped, but fastening took care of that.

  You only ordered 1 single tread which is described as Engineered Construction with 1/8” Thick Red Oak Top Layer. If you manage to wear off 1/8" thick finished red oak in 30 days Ill be impressed.The risers are 2 sided. One side is for stained, one is for painting.

  We ordered a sample of metal balusters twice from Cheap Stair Parts, once from another stair company, and once from A big box store online. Both orders from Cheap Stair Parts were processed right away & arrived within 3 business days. The orders from the other stair company & the big box store took at least 2 weeks to arrive, and it was like pulling teeth to get any info about the orders. I was very impressed with Cheap Stair Parts customer service.

  We decided a stairway remodel was in order after the professional installation of new hardwood floors and stairway. I decided that this was something that was within my DIY skills. After shopping the local big box stores and elsewhere online I decided to purchase from Cheap Stair Parts, and I am certainly happy with this decision!I am happy with both the selection (we purchased the MEGA 3/4 inch square iron spindles and an updated 6210 style handrail that were not available locally). I think the thicker bars look great with larger newel posts. Do purchase a few additional shoes to make sure you have enough in case you strip the small bolt with your allen wrench.Also impressed by the service provided after our initial purchase. In all I placed three orders and each time the orders arrived on time, complete, and in good condition (Including a 13 foot long handrail). The after initial purchase support was great and Cheap Stair Parts made it easy for me to get the remaining parts needed to complete my project (yes I had to order an additional handrail after cutting it upside down on the miter saw ... oops).Thank you to Cheap Stair Parts for helping me complete our stairway remodel!

  These railing ends seem to be just great, but the carpenter installing the railings had his way of doing things and didn't have a use for them. I also have an order of these railing ends which were delivered finally to Lowes after about a month. I don't need them either.

  I got sent the wrong product. Had to move it with me when we moved because they couldn't pick the wrong product up in a timely manner. When they did pick up I had to find a printer to copy labels fir the product they mistakenly delivered. What did they offer for my troubles? Nothing

  I do apologize as we did swap the labels and you received someone else parts.We did everything we could to correct this as fast as possible.However we were unable to pick it up any sooner as you no longer hand the shipping pallet required to ship these heavy parts and we had to wait for the reshipment to arrive so you could use that reuse that pallet for the return shipment. It would have been much sooner if you still had the pallet.Again I apologize for the delays due to having to get that reshipment to you first so we could put the wrong material back on a pallet for heavy freight pickup.

  Excellent quality stair tread, beautiful grain that took stain well. Tread ends were slightly damaged during transport, but as this tread was inserted into a closed step where we needed to trim the ends, it worked perfectly and looks great after installation

  I ordered the silver vein balusters and when I got them they had very little silver vein running through, they were mostly mostly black. The picture was not a good picture, so could not tell. We would appreciate a little more clarification, and better pictures.

  Thank you for the feedback. We take out photos in a studio with the most realistic looking lighting we can. I will get a random set of samples pulled again and see if we photos need updating and explore other ways that we can provide better descriptions to meet customer expectations.

  My experience was fantastic. Ordered material on Monday morning AM, they were pulled and shipped out on Monday. They arrived late Wednesday afternoon, which was great. All parts were in the shipment, and no damage items,. Great experience.

  Hey David. You ordered 4 really small parts. Unfortunately the base UPS rate is higher than USPS. We are working on getting USPS in here to ship the tiny parts. Our average order is a large order / full staircase and we have the lowest free shipping threshold online and are the most affordable shipping on the average orders.I don't feel a 2 star service review is fair. You were presented pricing upfront and you chose to take it. We delivered what you requested in the time frame you expected.

  Products shipped on time, well packaged, and no signs of damage. I previously tried stairssupplys.com and had horrible service, damaged stairs, delays, and more. This is why I tried cheap stair parts. I was happy I tried them.
