  the parts and delivery were both great, my only hold back on 5 stairs is because they are still using copies of copies of copies of their "Three R's of joining stair fittings" As a novice I had trouble reading it 5 yrs ago and today it's still the same!

  My husband and I wanted to totally remodel our curved floating staircase. We researched and looked at the parts we would need everywhere. Finally, we came across Cheap Stair Parts. Ms. Sheryl was invaluable in our process. She was knowledgeable, patient, and kind. She was a pleasure to work with and always available and ready to help, even at times when I did not know or was not sure exactly what to order or when I had to return some parts and order other ones.   Our home was built in 1997 and the entryway staircase with the country style newels and white balusters was really looking outdated. We recently had the floors refinished and living room updated and decided to update the newels, railings and balusters and could not be happier. The stair parts were of the highest quality and arrived damage free within days. I would highly recommend this company for all of your stair needs.

  I’m SO happy that I stumbled across Cheap Stair Parts in my google search for replacing a traditional bannister that didn’t fit the style of my new (to me) mid century home. I found beautiful images on the website, measured for parts myself (with cheap stairs’ handy online guide), ordered all the parts and booked my handyman to do the install and staining. I love that the parts are made in the US, arrived sooner than expected, and gave me a beautiful, reasonably priced replacement that fits my design aesthetic perfectly. Honestly, the only thing I don’t love is the name: cheap stair parts because this is high quality stuff and I think the name detracts from that.

  Parts arrived in a long tube that got severely damaged and the components needed replacement. CheapStairParts sent them out immediately. Great customer service. But get to the root cause - use a different carrier or shipping method to avoid so much damage in transit. The second time the damage was even worse but I was able to salvage what I needed to complete the job. I’ll buy from them again!

  Balusters are beautiful, delivery was just as I was told and customer service was very helpful with questions and work around ideas. Heads up! If you are using the solid balusters, prepare to use a metal saw blade (or two!) on a miter/chop or similar Heavy duty saw. The solid balusters are the real thing!

  Great customer service, great product,my problem was FedEx, product was lost , had to reorder , again customer service was excellent. Must’ve had some shipping problems almost every one of my pieces had to be repainted , I did have a second shipment in my garage it Has to go back to the company , this has been a nightmare with FedEx and the quality of product is excellent but due to damage and shipping was pretty much a nightmare for me.

  Not once did you ever reach out about this issue but we did email you for more info and you did not respond. I don't believe you threw away $250 worth of parts and ordered somewhere else. Most rational people would have contacted us and let us figure out what happened and fix it.We have 2 variations of some newels. Most are solid but some come with a poplar core. The one you purchased we don't even make with a poplar core. I checked our shipping photos and we sent the correct part.To future customers please know we are actually the most trustworthy company in our industry. We will always make it right if we made a mistake... however if you don't let us know something could be wrong how can we?

  I ordered a fairly large order of balusters in a satin finish. What I received was not satin but a matte finish on the balusters and the shoes. With the cost/method of shipping and a major deadline (the wife), I decide to use what I received and not return them. I'm not sure what happen or why the website would list satin and they sent matte? The product is nice but overall a little disappointed.

  Our Satin Black is not a shiny black. It is a very soft satin finish. Some of our competitors have an economy line which has a cheap shiny black. We have high res color photos of every product in every finish. If yours did not match that please reach out with photo examples and let us know.

  I renovated an existing staircase with new treads, risers and balusters. I found this company on-line and so happy I did. Prices are very competitive (half of what the big box stores charge) but may be off-set by high shipping costs (unless you have a coupon).I placed my order on-line and a day later realized I needed some additional parts. I contacted customer service and they were very friendly and accommodating (thank you Christina!). These are high quality products packaged individually with bubble wrap to prevent any type of shipping damage. Shipping is fast and accurate. I had several hundred parts in my order without a single mistake.I highly recommend cheapstairparts.com for your staircase project.

  Product did what it is specified to do but my application configuration ultimately interfered with the lower moulding. Tried to remove one of the moulding piece with the intent to reattach them below where the railing was interfering but learned that moulding has grove for alignment and unfortunately the piece being removed cracked. Tried to get replacement moulding piece and was told sorry can’t help you we don’t carry moulding. Not their fault, but wasn’t the assistance I was looking for. Asked if they knew if moulding was a standard design and never received a response.Being defensive surely won’t get it up either. I acknowledged it was my fault, I was reaching out to where I thought I could resolve it the easiest. Apparently that was not the case. Please know I don’t provide many reviews and over the years I have done 2 large projects that I utilized all the components from your company. By this exchange alone I will never utilize it on future projects!And since you asked, a little compassionate tone in a response maybe.Additionally help me to find anywhere in the description or specifications that the moulding pieces are not intended to be removed? It is an adhered part.

  Comparing the black aluminum balusters from homedepot or Lowe’s, the quality is just as good if not better. The size and pattern is slightly different though so best not to mix n match.

Had to return the epoxy since it wasn't needed. Only complaint was we had to pay a restocking fee and shipping charges. Other than that I recommend ordering from this company.

  Very pleased with the quality and price of the iron balusters and shoes purchased for my stairs. This was a DIY project I completed easily with a power saw and epoxy. Made a huge change from the old white wooden balusters that were there before.

  We were very pleased with the wrought iron ballasts and basket weave that we used to replace our stairway when we refininished the steps and replaced wood ballasts for the ones we purchased from Cheap stair parts. They came through the mail in perfect condition and wrapped individually in plastic.No damage and no need to return anything. Very happy with this product.

  Cheap Stair Parts was the only place could find the wood stair baluster that matched our 25 year old house. The price was reasonable but the shipping was a little pricey. We gladly paid because of the difficulty finding the correct baluster. Delivery was quick and the piece fit perfectly. If I had to suggest anything that would have made it a little better was the websites pictures of the balusters.

  I will admit that I experienced an issue with a single baluster, but Cheap Stair Parts staff was prompt at responding to my issue, and I had a replacement part in two days. Highly recommend, and I will definitely use them again!

  Really first class railing components. Heavy and high quality stainless steel. Use cobalt drill bits, this is the real stuff and ordinary carbon bits don't cut it. If I had to do it again I would use the pop-rivet nuts that they offer. Tapping into this top-notch stainless is a chore. Looks beautiful and feels really sturdy while looking slim and modern.

  Ordered an8’ and a 16’ stair rail. Good communication on delivery. Actually arrived earlier than expected. Unfortunately both rails had noticeable dents in them that would have been extremely difficult if not impossible to repair and as a prominent feature in the house unacceptable. We refused delivery and sent back with the freight company. Personal belief is the packing needed improved care as the heavy cardboard tube the arrived in was partially broken and rail ends exposed (failed to mention there was also a 8-9” crack along the end of the longer rail).I called immediately after sending off the FedEx truck and received helpful prompt response from Sheryl who took info about the issue and set up a re-order of the rails. Hope the next ones are not damaged in transit.Very high marks for attending to customer needs.

  I was referred to Cheap Stair Parts by my contractor. I had great customer service and the products are beautiful. The shipping time was extremely fast! I made the mistake of purchasing from 2 different companies and had to return a good bit to the other company because they are not the same finish though both were Satin Black. Lesson learned!
