  The handrail bracket was on backorder due to overwhelming demand. We ran out before our manufacturing facility began working on another batch. Since these are stainless steel with a lot of quality control checks in the manufacturing process there is a much longer lead-time than our standard iron and wood parts when we need to restock. Customer requested a cancellation. TrustPilot should not allow reviews for canceled orders.

  Purchased balusters for a renovation of my balcony and was surprised at the availability and selection on the web site. Order my parts and again surprised at how fast I received them. Great communication of shipment and delivery. The product was as described and outstanding quality. One piece was missing from one of the packages that was obviously lost in shipping as evident by the damaged package. Contacted Cheap Stair Parts and they resent the missing piece. Very happy with their service and their product. Would definitely use them again.

  All the folks at CSP were wonderful to work with. I had miscounted my order for newells, and the ladies at CSP were able to get them from another location. When a newell arrived broken, one was sent out right away.The quality is wonderful. My staircases are gorgeous.

  I had an excellent experience when ordering my stair parts. I received an email and a call regarding a piece that was back ordered.   Stair parts were excellent. Driver called a half hour before arrival. When he arrived, however, we were apparently his last delivery for this load. He seemed in a hurry. Since we have a gravel driveway, he said that he could not unload and had to drop our balusters on a pallet in the street. With a pallet full of mixed variety balusters and shoes we could not exactly count them on the spot. Thankfully, counting them after the fact (once we got all the boxes carried into the house and counted, we were only short one Flat Shoe (ITEM # 365547-30 97525-126444 PART # HFSTB16.3.38 5/8IN SQ Opening Flat Shoe). The balusters - plain, knuckled, and fancy were all present.

  I would have given a 4-5 star had we not gotten a damaged Volute with the rail. It took a lot of time and work to fix the damage. We chose not to contact anyone because we needed the rail and volute ASAP and could not wait for a new one to be shipped. We were shocked to see the Volute was ripped apart as the packaging for all our other parts was more than durable. All other parts in our order were perfect and everything turned out amazing.

  Good morning. As discussed in our email with you we did ship the two products with the original order. They were in the photo of the pallet before shipping. Unfortunately we can't control what happens between here and there and it appeared that the pallet was damaged in transit which would account for those 2 missing pieces.We did do a free reship immediately when notified of the issue. We performed better than a 2 star service.For those planning a remodel and for those who actually read our Terms of Sale we strongly recommend never tearing down stairs or hiring workers to show up until you have all of your material delivered and accounted for. Things happen that none of us can control.

  I bought two 84" stair treads that I am planning to use for open shelving in my kitchen makeover.   The prices for their oak trim was some of the lowest I found on line, so I spoke with the folks there before I made my purchase to ensure I was getting the right thing. They were very personable and helpful! Once I had the order in, the trim was in my hands (in Alaska no less) in about a week...very fast!! The trim was securely packaged like I envisioned it should be with no damage...some other vendors could learn a bit from them about packaging to ensure your wood doesn’t come damaged.Very happy customer, and I won’t hesitate to reach out again for my next project. Try them...you won’t be disappointed.

  The funny thing is you did get exactly what was pictured. I wish trustpilot let me put screenshots in this review because the product you purchased is exactly what was pictured online for the Oil Rubbed Bronze paint pen. But hey.. let's throw a fit over something that was clearly described to you online before you purchased.... and even has the exact photo of the product you bought... and works the exact same.Due to covid we had to find another manufacturers who can match our finishes. The description on the site clearly stated the photo used may not represent the product received. (Although in your case it actually did.) We also list the directions on how to use the paint pen in the description.When you emailed us a week ago asking if it was the same product we let you know it was. It must really bother you that it had an asian language on it that you are still so clearly upset after this amount of time. If it bothers you that much let me know and Ill send you a pre-paid label and ill refund it when received back.

  They helped me out when I was in a bind. I ordered balusters from them several months ago, but my co tractor couldn’t get them installed till this month.   As we all know finishes are difficult, if not impossibe, to verify online. I ordered this part hoping the finish was the one we needed. Unfortunately, it was not. Also, unfortunate, i could not consider returning the item with the incorrect finish as your organization charged shipping that was 5-6 times normal so returning it was moot. It is sad that we must be subjected to this type of billilng treatment which also eliminates returns on your part. Clever but no thanks i will avoid any future.

We have never received a phone call or email from you about the order and shipping fees before you purchased nor about returning this product so it's difficult to respond to some of this review as we did what we promised we would do. We shipped an order that all prices were presented upfront, on time and correct.As for outgoing orders we do not ship USPS for a few reasons we will not get into. We only ship UPS and Fedex which both charge at a minimum rate of 3 pounds which can explain why someone ordering a single $7.00 part could experience shipping higher than what you feel is normal. However I did check USPS rates and their rate for that size box and weight is $8.50, still more than the cost of the part. It doesn't sound like we could have done anything better or different here.For other customers who may read these reviews and responses PLEASE reach out to us before you order with any questions or concerns. Please also reach out about any returns or policies before you make assumptions and just give us a bad review without us even having a chance to service you.One other note is our average order size is much larger and our shipping for the bigger orders does get quite competitive for the typical user with a large majority of our orders going out qualify for free shipping. We also price match and beat a competitors complete quote by 5%.

  Was very pleased with the product quality. Smooth surface, even coloring from tread to tread. Very solid. Installed 14 stair treads and risers in a 40 year old beach house. We had to replace the sub floor with new plywood to keep the riser on a 7" spec. The only room for improvement is to have better communication for shipping. The treads arrived in 4 days with a private shipping company and they called out of the blue when I was at work and needed a signature. Had to rush home to sign. The risers came 4 days later via UPS. I will use them again for the next project.

  I placed 2 separate orders for a total of 5 newel posts. They all arrived faster than expected. One of them had a little damage—the veneer appeared to be separating from the wood. As soon as I notified them, they acted quickly to get me a replacement. Great customer service! Recommend 100%.

  I purchased balusters from cheap stair parts and I did my homework. They were less than half the price of 6 other websites for the same brand and style baluster. I looked over all 40 balusters the day after they arrived, they were all individually wrapped in a bubble wrap sleeve. So they were packed very well. I found 2 balusters that looked like the paint was touched up so I emailed them to notify them because if I needing to use all 40 then I would want them exchanged. Their responding email said that would be no problem
