They are fabulous. The ease of application is phenomenal. This has always been the sticking point of wearing compression hose. I think it is the ribbing that facilitates donning of the socks. Customer service is excellent. Always east to talk to someone!

I have found that BrightLife is a good source for compression stockings and arm sleeves. The correct product has always arrived, and at a reasonable shipping speed. The only problem I've had is that their website is difficult to navigate -- it kept bumping me out, saying I had entered the wrong code, when I used the correct code they had just sent me. Possibly the "speed" of their acceptance of the code is slow or something, but it was annoying. So just keep trying :-)

Bright Life Direct is helpful when you call them. A representative helped me with my needs, as the website was confusing trying to sort out the size I needed and type. The product arrived and I like the compression stockings. They are toeless, knee high stockings. I also like the silk like sleeve that comes with the order! I like their items most of the time. The last order I received was great, but have had to return things in the past. Don’t like that when you pay for shipping in the first place and then you need to return the product, the shipping is almost double. Seems like we the customer is getting scammed out of almost $4 for a return product. That I don’t like. The shipping to return a product should be the same as what you paid for it to be shipped to you. For that reason you aren’t getting 5 stars.

I've been buying this brand from a drug store in the area for about three years, so I knew it was a great brand. I'm older and can no longer tolerate the stronger compression. I now wear the 10-15 mm which still protects my legs and gives some compression too. I decided to buy some online because they offer patterns. I like the patterned ones a lot.

This knee sleeve has only one drawback--the fabric is rather thick and stiff, and tends to form deep, uncomfortable creases behind the knee. Since I'm using it to compress distended blood vessels and not to hold my patella in place, the thickness isn't desirable. Rather, I'd prefer a more elasticized fabric that compresses uniformly over the entire knee area like that used in full-leg compression sleeves.

The main reason I purchased from BrightLifeDirect.com was because the band at the top was not supposed to cut off circulation. I measured my calf and ankle, used my shoe size and purchased the appropriate size per their chart. I wore them for 1 day and the top cut into me and was most uncomfortable. But I received the order in a timely manner and luckily selected both the right size and the right company on BrightLife Direct to order from. After months-- no, make that years- of searching for the right compression/diabetic socks, I have FINALLY found the perfect ones for me. I recently ordered three separate brands of socks from BrightLife to try out in the hope of finding at least one of them that would work for me. Mind you, I have already tried 6 other brands in the past 5 months from other vendors-- all fell short of my needs and expectations. So imagine my delight when I found that two of the three pairs from BrightLife are perfect for me! Haven't tried the third one yet so I don't know but the two are Allegro Essential Men's Ribbed Knee High 8-15 mmHg #122 X-Large and Jobst Sensifoot Diabetic Compression Knee High 8-15 mmHg XL. Allegro is great for summer and is light, thin and very easy to put on and off. Sensifoot is great for cooler weather being heavier, very soft and warmer and very easy to put on and off. My ankles are 13" and calf is 20". I am 6'1" and weigh 300 lbs. Neither sock cut into my calf or ankle-- just very comfortable and supportive. Highly recommend!

I'm a straight 67-year-old married man (to a woman), about 330 lbs. I got an Allegro pantyhose (largest size) in black, and a Mediven pantyhose in beige (I think the largest size). I haven't tried the Mediven pantyhose yet, but only the Allegro. I have to say, although the Allegro is a lot less expensive and the material is a little rougher, it's still quite comfortable and "easily" allows a man to urinate without having to pull them down! Although I haven't tried the Mediven pantyhose yet, I have used Mediven thigh-high compression stockings with the beaded rubber top, and they're incredibly comfortable on the skin! Still, and it may sound gay, but it definitely helps to shave your legs if you plan to wear them long-term, since hair will make them slip down continuously, which is very frustrating! Anyway, that's my take on them!

I ordered an item from Brightlife, understanding that it is available to ship. It was not and I had to contact them when I was not provided with shipping information. I got an appology by an email. I was told that the delay is just for a few days and that the item will be shipped once it arrives to their facility and offered a chance to cancel the order. I decided to wait those few days, but received no acknowledgement that the item was shipped, no shipment tracking number and no explanation/update on my order. What do you think?
