I had an issue with shipping. Product that was needed wasn't on the freight delivery when it was documented as being on there. After reviewing the freight packing slip it was very clear that the product was never on the freight shipment. This issue was a communication problem between supplier and vendor, whereas the client was notified it was shipped. I was forced to take a couple hours out of my work day to go look for a local reseller as I already had arrangements for a date on when to do the work. Since I had only planned 2-3 weeks ahead of schedule with ordering and shipping based on install date. I would advise to add 1-2 weeks of buffer time incase product isn't received and needs to be re-shipped.

I also ordered 1# of 1" copper nails. Turns out they were out of stock. The item was canceled after I placed my order. Not so bad but just trying to order only nails again of a similar size was going to cost $9 in shipping. Amazon to the rescue.

It clearly has my address on it... and then next to it is a UPS label for a completely different address. I consider this a shipping issue, unrelated to your company. I would recommend this company to all! The delivery was quick, although UPS did not notify me that it was here and returned it to Best Materials. I was upset being from Canada and having spent more on shipping than the article cost. I can assure you I was treated by BEST MATERIALS as if I was their first customer or their best customer. I am so impressed with the BM team that helped me through the UPS fiasco. The product is good and I would recommend it to others. As far as receiving the product is a different story I waited days without shipping confirmation and had to call and when I did it hadn’t been shipped nor was it even ready. I am having the same issues with the order I am waiting on now. If it was something I were doing for myself it would not bother me as much but it is for my customers and not being able to tell them when I can preform their work due to delayed product really makes me look bad. I am a small business in my first year and can’t afford to get a bad name or being delayed due to lack of product. Thank you for letting me express my concerns.

The least expensive rate for a medium sized box that could not have weighed more than a few pounds was $61.00. I ship many products every week and I have never had to pay a charge of $61.00 for a barely medium sized box that had lightweight folded/coiled backer rod in it. I’m guessing that the freight charges have been marked up or were incorrect for this shipment. Would you pay a charge of $61.00 for a lightweight box such as this? I don’t think so. The Boot Guard Installation Instructions indicates additional screws provided for use on 2” lead boots. There were no longer screws provided. When Best materials was contacted, they indicated no additional length screws were available as they are ust a distributor. However, a lot of time was wasted by me on emails and pictures for them to figure this out.
