    I ordered a drain cover and when it got here the box was damaged. The part was unharmed but did not fit the pipe I had ordered it for. I attempted to return the part but it would have cost a total of $80 in shipping and "restocking" fees. I had paid $100 for the part so this is absurd. When I asked if there was anything they could do about these extra costs they told me that there was nothing they could do because it had shipped directly from the warehouse. Pretty disappointing over all and now I have a part that doesn't fit.

You did of course call us at the 1-800 number on the top of every page on our website to verify that you were ordering the correct item, right? Of course, if we had shipped it wrong we would have paid for all the related charges to get you the correct item, without question.     Their response to questions and efficiency of getting product shipped is great. The $80.86 shipping fee for a 10 pound box was obscene. At first I thought it was just a place holder to be trued up after the actual shipping label was printed, but nope. It stood at $80.86.

    Would give 0 stars if I could. You guys charge EXORBITANT prices for ALL shipping and I paid a REALLY exorbitant price for 2 day shipping but you didn't bother to tell me for 2 days that it wasn't in stock. I called after 2 days only to find out that no one had any idea about the status of my order. I got a call back later to find out that it wasn't in stock and you didn't know when you would receive it. Why would someone pay through the ass for 2 day shipping if their order wasn't urgent? Answer: It's not AT ALL urgent to you! This behavior demonstrates ZERO respect for your customers. Z-E-R-O!

    Hello William, I don't really expect to change your mind, but some things you should know and some you didn't mention. It is at least as disappointing to us as to our customers when we are unable to fulfill their needs. Failure is not something I take lightly. Having said that, we notified you on the day your order came in that we were attempting to get you an estimated shipping date. We would only do this if the material was not on hand. As our website states, there is a typical lead time to ship of 10-15 business days for that item. That lead time is based on order quantity and on hand quantity. And the order processing to ship time is separate from the actual shipping, or transit time. Regarding shipping costs. Those are not our prices. Shipping costs are determined by the various carriers, package or freight, based on current market conditions and supplied to our site from their respective site. Your review, while understandable, is based on certain assumptions on your part. As well as some inaccuracies portraying our level of respect. I do hope that you will give us another opportunity to serve you, but I would also understand if you don't.     I was a little annoyed with the fact that I had spoke with a representative and explained that it would be a commercially zoned residence delivery. Not requiring anything special delivery-wise. Driver pulled up and we unloaded within 5-10 minutes. Yet the paperwork that the driver had, had an upcharge listed for "complicated delivery" or words to that effect. Kind of a Bait & Switch, that I didn't have the time/energy to deal with. Product was great as always.

    Product arrived with no noticeable damaged until I opened the box about two weeks later. Can was busted inside box and adhesive was all over inside.     Hi Anonymous, You left out a lot of information! First, when we let you know that we weren't going to meet your delivery date, you told us just to ship as quickly as possible. So we did. Then you wanted to return it because it came to late (one day) and you had already completed the job. You stated you didn't want to pay a restock fee or return shipping. Using some pretty colorful language by the way. Then you tried to tell us it was defective and sent some pictures. Again, some pretty colorful language. Finally, we once again told you we could take the material back with a restock fee. Once again, in your vocabulary of choice, you stated you were unwilling to do so.     I placed my order 416434 on July 5th with an estimated delivery of July 22nd. It never arrived and no one could give a date when it would arrive.     Great source for the material I wanted - very difficult to find the 16" snap-loc profile. Significantly less expensive than the sheetmetal shop that sold the roofing (and their's was generic/un-profiled). Quick delivery of exactly what I ordered.     Hello Adam, You placed the order on Friday, April 26th at 5:44 in the evening. So we would not have seen it until the following Monday, April 29th. One of the items on your order has a typical lead time to ship of 7-10 business days, which is stated on the website. Your order shipped on Monday, May 13th, 11 business days after we started processing your order. Regarding the shipping method and cost; we shipped base on what you entered when you placed the order UPS 3 Day Select. Since the order processing time and the actual shipping time are 2 different processes, if you received the order on the 15th then you received it when you should have and therefore received the value that you paid for.     Hello Bert, When I placed the order there was no indication Of a 7 to 10 day lead time. I would not have ordered it otherwise. If you look at my order it does not indicate a lead time for what I ordered.That is why I paid for the specific shipping, to get it sooner. Also never got any updates on my order. I spoke with Chuck Cibely, and Pierre. Why would I pay for quicker shipping delivery, and still wait a long period of time. I should have been giving a break on shipping.

As I mentioned to Jess, we did change the shipping method based on our history with USPS and damage to the plastic pails we've shipped with them.     Good morning, We don't have much control over how much freight companies charge for shipping. It's all based on weight and volume and rates change constantly. I think $195.50 is pretty reasonable for a shipment over 2800 pounds. Even without the pallet of roofing granules it's a good price at $97.50 for over 50 pounds.     They delivered my order and it was the wrong item. Had to take time off of work to come receive it cuz I wasn't notified it was coming. I ordered snow guards and they delivered me gutters now they're sitting at my house and no one has picked them up yet. I still have not received my original order.
