  This is the second time i have dealt with Best Materials for the same product. The product is excellent for the purposes I use it for but the customer services left a lot to be desired the second round. I ordered 12 tubes of caulk on 1/04/2025 and was supposed to receive them in 8 business days, but did not receive for 13 business days 18 days total. The product was delivered in a damaged box in 13 degree weather. We used 6 tubes of the caulk immediately and found that 2 tubes were dried up and or un useable, upon contacting Best Materials and sending pictures of the packaging and situation, asked for replacement tubes. Best asked for pictures of the serial numbers on the tubes and while we threw out the tubes I could only send the serial numbers from the remaining tubes (they were all the same). The agent said that they would check with their supervisor about the replacements..ANSWER was the serial numbers all came back as good until April and that no replacements would be provided. It’s a shame because we like their product BUT customer service is lacking terribly..Will not be supporting that business any time in the future. Terry Ohio resident

  Since I wanted to buy some tubes of the butyl rubber sealant, I found it available on the Best Materials website. Ordering was easily done on their site, the confirmation of the order came within 30 seconds, and they sent an update and shipping notice in 2 days. It arrived when the delivery was estimated, well packaged and exactly what I ordered.

  Unfortunately my order was not received though UPS shows it was received and then let me know the packagewas found and still have not delivered it, it has been over a month at this point and Best Materials had been no help in getting me my order even though they have proof in writing that the customer who paid for the item did not receive it! This is the worst customer service. You would think that they would ensure the customer would get the product, instead I've had the run around for a month and still no resolution.

  Hello Jessica, Your review is a bit confusing to me. We had UPS perform 2 investigations into your claim that the package was never delivered. One of them with the GPS information of the delivery. I understand the frustration of having a package stolen from your porch, but I'm not sure why you are blaming Best Materials. You state that there is proof in writing but all you provided was a text exchange from a claim that you opened, which may, or may not be for the item you ordered from us. Can you please provide me with some additional clarity, including what you think would be a fair and reasonable resolution.   I don't care about the documentation, you know your customer does not have the product and have done nothing to help me. You have given me the run around for a month and I'm done going back and forth. Ups told me the package was found, you saw that text and then all of a sudden it's not found and back to saying it was delivered. It is BS and you lost a good customer, you should have reshipped the product and then taken it up with UPS, you failed your customer.

  Well, there's the problem. You don't care that someone stole your package, or that we can prove delivery. We have attempted to assist you every step of the way. You even stated it in your emails. "I thought that there was a signature required. It should not have been left, I'm not sure how to proceed here." Regardless, I know that this means nothing to you as you "don't care".

  Hello, I understand your frustration. Unfortunately, it's not just the weight that is considered when freight is calculated. The item dimensions are also a major factory, particularly when the length is 10' or more. It's also the length of the item that determines whether it goes via a package carrier, like UPS, or a freight carrier like Old Dominion. Another major factor is whether or not the order is being delivered to a residential or commercial address. I know this doesn't help, but hopefully it provides a better understanding of what the costs are based on.   They accepted my order and charged my credit card. Next day they said they have no product and will refund my money in a week. So, I wasted a day, spent my time twice to find a place to purchase, and tied my money up for a week. All I got for my trouble was an insincere, computer generated, “Sorry.” Not even a 25% off coupon for my trouble.

  Shipping was a little pricy but arrived pretty quick, 4 days after ordering. Water based stain was super easy to apply via a pump sprayer. Absolutely no smell which was great being it was applied in my basement. After wetting the floor, I applied one undiluted coat and it dried in a short time. The color dried a little darker than the color chart stated but looks fantastic. I will be sealing it in a day or so. Overall this product and company is highly recommended.

  A young lady called to say UPS does not deliver to PO Boxes I told her the address was for the physical post office where we receive packages fro them often. She still out my PO Box as the address and I have yet to receive my package. Why call me if you’re not going to listen.

  shipped what I needed same day I ordered after I called and said it was a rush. and had several in stock where nobody else did. Hate that Sika bought my product out and now wants to quadruple the price for consumers.. Sika might need a monopoly check soon. So many companies driven to the brink these past 4 years. Lets hope for a turnaround and deflation soon so companies like Best Materials remains a top notch supplier.
