    I needed parts for a diorama I needed parts for a diorama, and 1001 Marquettes had the bits I needed. No problems with the website but unfortunately some of the parts were out of stock and I had to wait a week and a bit before they arrived. Once sent, they arrived promptly in a jiffy bag which meant that the two boxes of bits were a little crushed. No damage to the contents though. Thanks, I couldn't have completed my project without them!

    As a first-time customer As a first-time customer, not overly impressed. Despite all my items being listed as 'in stock, dispatched within 24 hours' the order sat for nearly two weeks awaiting shipment. When I queried why it was so slow it was finally dispatched.     Unacceptable Service I placed my order on 4/28/2018 Saturday and I have not received my items as of 5/22/2018. The website says it shipped my item on 5/7/2018 the following Monday. 1 whole week (5 days) and they did not ship item until the following week. not on 4/30, not on 5/1,5/2,5/3 or 5/4/2018 but the following monday 5/7/2018. The items I ordered are small and would fit in a small envelope. I don't understand why it would take so F&%$#@ long to send 2 templates. website is very deceiving with USA Contact information when they are out of Europe! First and last time I will use this site. I only wish I receive my items soon or at all.I made a huge mistake.

    Slow and poor service I ordered enamel paint for my son and I ordered an item from China. My order from China arrived but I still haven't received my item from 1001 model kit. I phoned the customer service team who basically didn't care and were very rude. I will not be purchasing from them again due to me having to go out and purchase the items again for my son to finish his college project. In short poor service, rude customer service and a dont care attitude. Customer service at its worst May I also add that it states a delivered from date and not a delivered by date on your website which states at the moment delivered from 26/09/18 so reply is untrue

    I sent off for the Douglas Bader… I sent off for the Douglas Bader spitfire model it arrived today in a plain brown box which was in perfect condition ""But"" when I opened it to reveal the kit box I was not please one bit, the kit box was battered infact if I had gone to a local model shop and it was the last kit in stock I would not have brought it in that condition. I will certainly not be purchasing anything from this seller again .

    This was the only online hobby store… This was the only online hobby store where I could find HGW scale seat belts. (That's not to say there may be others.) I placed my order thinking that the store was in the United States. It was only after the three weeks it took for the items to arrive that I realized the online store is located in Europe.     Why does it take so long for delivery of my order? Why does it take 10 days from the time of my order (30 July) for you to pull two small sheets of decals from your stocks, put them in an envelope and mail them? Why did you not forward to me the tracking number of my order as you said you would do? Why did you omit CALIFORNIA from my address that I gave you? Why did you include my postal code mixed in with a bunch of other numbers making it very difficult to know where the package was going? This probably explains why it took another 16 days from the time you put the package in the mail to the time I received it yesterday (25 Aug)

    If I could give a 2.5 I would If I could give a 2.5 I would. Ordered a vacuum form canopy and received it in a 'cushioned envelope.' As you would imagine, it was damaged at some point in transit. 1001 was quick enough to dispatch another without cost to replace it. But, it arrived in a cushioned envelope - damaged... If you read this 1001, use boxes, even little ones to protect the product. They were quick enough with the full refund however, so 'acceptable' service in that I got my money back without hassle. Thank you.

    Only one problem The model airplane was as advertised, and its delivery was timely My only problem with 1001 Modelkits related to the shipping and handling charge of $26.99. I consider that charge excessive for the small, lightweight package that was shipped. Had the shipping and handling charge been more reasonable, I would have rated my experience as five star.

Crappy offer to refund 10 bucks because of their ignorance. Will not use them again.     Terrible company Terrible company, overpriced, charged surcharge for paying by paypal. As far as I can see they never dispatched the goods, could not provide a tracking number, and apparently couldn't refund me. I had to open a PayPal dispute to get my money back. So glad I paid the surcharge.

    Overall Poor Service Placed and order for a model plane in mid December. Order was expected to ship about 7 days after order placement and ship with DHL. It did ship when expected, however, the DHL tracking number they provided did not work. Their e-mail reply stated that their ""logistic partner made a mistake"" and it shipped some other way with no tracking number. I was refunded some of the shipping cost. When it arrived, the shipper box arrived in very good condition with no signs of damage, physical or weather related. I point that out because when I opened the shipper box and took out the model's box, I quickly could tell that the model's box had previously gotten wet. Anyone could see and feel that the box got wet and then dried. It also means that their order processing department could tell and shipped out the box anyway, knowing it might have issues. The water did reach the components inside. I'm okay with the plastic parts getting wet, no harm, I'm okay with the manual being warped by the water and the staples on it getting rust, it still readable. I'm not okay with stickers warping, fading colors, and losing adhesiveness. Sent two e-mails before getting a reply. They said they would send replacement stickers. I e-mailed back asking if possible to ship in box instead of an envelope because the likely hood of bending. Did not received a reply. 5 weeks later, no stickers. Send an e-mail, they don't reply. Send a second e-mail, they don't reply. 6 weeks later still no replacement stickers. First and Last purchase with 1001 Modelkits. By the way, their price for the model is about 35% over the original retail price.
