1001 Maquettes I felt that there was not enough communication on the status of my order. I had to ask more than once only to be told it will be shipped shortly which told me nothing. It left me with no confidence that the order would ever be shipped. On value for money I felt that I have been ripped off on price as your selling price was£55 whereas Welsh Models who supplied the kit sell it for £39.27 which is 40% more which is why I am saying I was ripped off by 1001 Maquettes. I would not use this company again. In future I will buy direct from Welsh Models.

Decals The decals I purchased arrived in a good secure package and was exactly as I ordered. I have not used them yet but upon examination, they appear to be of good quality. My only slight quibble is the amount of time it took to process and dispatch the order. If time is not an issue the this doesn't matter.

No comms from Vendor until PayPal intervened We did eventually receive the product we ordered. However at first this vendor took the money, sent us an invoice then.. Nothing. After a few days we contacted the vendor asking what was happening. No response. We contacted them again. No response. Finally we resorted to opening a PayPal complaint in order to get a refund. The response was then instantaneous. Multiple emails kept us informed up until the point the goods turned up.

This is the first time I have purchased … This is the first time I have purchased from this company after I had ordered my goods I looked at some of the less favourable reviews about delivery and the wrong goods being sent As the time went on I got nervous about my goods turning up and sent them a stiff email then the next day my goods turned up well packaged and as ordered it took a week from start to finish that for me is to long especially as all the kits I ordered were tagged as shipped in 24 hours in stock so I might use them in future if they have a kit I can't find at my usual model dealers on line but at least these companies you order one day and you get it the next but as I say the goods did arive in the end.

A week later told it wasn't in stock and they didn't know when back in so offered a voucher or refund. I realize 1001 Modelkits has no control of the postal system so technically I cannot hold them at fault for this large delay. However, after seeing many complaints about orders not being received at all or seriously delayed I would expect that 1001 Modelkits would make other arrangements to insure the best possible customer service. I believe most customers would pay an extra fee for some trackable shipping service that would hopefully avoid these types of situations. Poor Order Fulfillment Process Order placed & paid with PayPal 10/3. No communication or delivert by 10/23, when I inquired only to find one item out of stock. Asked for refund to PayPal for that item, got a future sale voucher (fat chance) instead. Got that cleared up, they asked if I still wanted item that was in stock. Cancelled order in frustration, no credit to my PayPal to date, handed it to them for resolution. Customer Service people very nice, polite but company procedures hamper them resolving problems. Ordered from them once before with no issues two years ago, perhaps sales are now so good they can afford to kick a couple customers to the curb.

Jolly good, but be prepared for a bit of a wait for delivery. After I'd ordered from 1001 (due to the very competitive price) I read the Trust Pilot reviews which made me wonder if I'd done the right thing. However, although the model car was delivered with all the speed of a glacier - 11 days, in these days when we're used to instant gratification - and after four emails (one duplicated) letting me know they were dealing with my order and had posted it about five days after receiving it, everything was OK despite the contents rattling inside the outer packaging box. (A little more scrunched up paper next time chaps!). Thus, all good, but be prepared to be patient while waiting for your order to be delivered

Waar ik er zelf achteraan moest bellen en dan pas informatie kreeg. De eerste keer zeiden ze dat het nog diezelfde week werd verzonden. Dan was uiteindelijk niet zo. Pas na een tweede keer bellen werd het eindelijk verzonden. Het bleek een Franse klantenservice te zijn, zonder dat dit ergens vermeld staat. De persoon aan de telefoon was erg slecht te verstaan en ook zeer onvriendelijk. Hij onderbrak mij meerdere malen en zodra ik begon over ontevreden zijn probeerde hij het gesprek zo snel mogelijk af te kappen. Het product was ook nog eens beschadigd bij afleveren. When ordering When ordering, the image was misleading as it showed two bottles of Tamiya Airbrush Cleaner side by side for no other reason it seems than to suggest that you would get two for the price. Of course only one item arrived and when calculating postage and packing then the item was quite expensive.

disappointed Hello, I ordered a 1/18 scale diecast (Signature) Studebaker Avanti. It took the better part of three week's to go from France to the United States (Wisconsin) When the carrier gave me the box I could hear a rattling noise inside, when I took the window box out I could see parts on the bottom of the box The complete front suspension was sheered off the car, both front wheels, there related spindles, and the tie rod. Now decision time, go thru all the B.S. to send it back, and then wait another month , or fix it my self. So I took the car apart and make a custom front suspension, it took me six hours. (This is what caused the destruction,) they must of packed the window box on a Friday night. They simply put the window box inside a bigger box with nothing to protect it. no bubble wrap, no foam peanuts. not even the local rag, no fragile tape on the outside (NOTHING) no wonder it was so severely damaged. I was looking forward to working with a company in France, but frankly I couldn't afford it.

Upset...disappointed. I am very upset. When I ordered, the website said delivery by Dec 23rd. I ordered a gift on December 9th! I still have not received it and it is now Dec 24th. It was a sentimental gift from the kids to their father. The website should have said Christmas delivery not guaranteed instead it said 'in stock, delivered by Dec 23rd.' I would have ordered it somewhere else. Poor customer service!
