  Waited 2 weeks for shipping conformation,. After several attempts to have them email shipping info I filed a claim with pay pal. for help because it seemed to me they were giving me a runaround. 5 or so days later I received my order.i believe I would be waiting had I not.   My last order was rather disappointing. I had requested the order be canceled due to its prolonged time in being filled and my money refunded. The order for decals was several months in processing. The request was seen but ignored. I found this as being extremely unprofessional. The refusal to refund my money was annoying and frustrating. Since the order was several months old without being filled or any notice of anything being done till it was shipped months after the order was placed. This will affect any future orders, if any, that I place with 1001 Hobbies.

  The model kit was very poorly packed. It was not put into a separate box with packing material around it to protect its contents. Instead the model kit box itself was wrapped up in a little bit of covering and shipped. These model kit boxes are not very sturdy and the corner of the box was crushed when I received it. Fortunately, none of the parts therein seemed to be damaged. But that only means I was lucky. It's not hard to see how easily such poor packing could result in a badly damaged model kit. Do the right thing even though it will cost a little more in shipping. Put the model kits in a bigger shipping boxes and put some packing material around them. Other online retailers I deal with do this.

  I ordered two items that were both listed as being in stock in February. I then proceeded to receive no updates on my order besides the fact that it was 'processing'. After I sent an multiple emails months later I was informed that one of my items was out of stock and the cost would be refunded to my account, and the other item was shipped and received with no further issues. It could be a problem with overseas shipping but I think communication regarding the status of my order could have been done better.

  Navigation of the site was not difficult, I found the item that I was looking for. It was an item that was hard to locate in the United States. Delivery was normal considering that it was shipped out of the country. It took about three weeks to get. The carburetor for the OS 61 FX worked out very well. The motor turned on within three flips of the prop and was very easy to adjust. What a difference a new part makes!

  JUNE 22, 2033 ... I had ordered a model kit from 1001hobbies (1/25 scale Revell VW Hippy Van) It was the cheapest price on the internet. It was at this time that I found out they were located in France. BUT they said my product would be received in a timely manner. (and it was about 1/2 the price of the next lowest price item at the time) At the same time, I ordered several other items from different companies located here in the States. 11 days later I get my package from 1001Hobbies, FROM FRANCE !!! - 11 days .... not a record setter in the amount of time, BUT the other orders here in the States ... 1 says it will deliver 1 single can of paint about August 7 ( a moth and a half to deliver a can of paint) another one, I had to send them a reminder email about my order (12 days and still had a unfulfilled status) Needless to say, I will look at 1001hobbies with a little more interest from now on. If they can deliver product to me in better time than companies here in the States can, then who am i to argue

  The service was ok. the problem was shipping a fragile small piece of sheet brass in a shipping envelope was not very smart. Mine was bent and everyone knows once bent there is no going back. At least use a small box or a stiff piece of cardboard. Outside of that the art work is great.

  Everything went well. Communication was good. I purchased 8 Aqua Color paints. One was congealed, but recoverable by adding water. Paints were shipped from Europe, so shipping cost was high. Not sure if this is standard for their inventory, but be aware.

  "Instant ship" Took 3 weeks to leave the warehouse, another month to get here, when it got here it was packaged in nothing but bubble wrap... no box or anything just bubble wrap for international shipping, the box was damaged so badly it was open and the decal sheet fell out as I carried it into my house... A basic box would have prevented all of this but that is too much for 22 in shipping on 70usd in items I guess. They have not answered my emails yet, might have to force a refund. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

  Last month I came across a war gaming boxed set on 1001hobbies and was skeptical because it was discounted so heavily. Turns out it was legit, just needed to wait for it to come into inventory and then they shipped it out and it didn't take long to arrive, even for coming over seas. If you find a good deal on 1001 hobbies, I definitely recommend going for it!

  The prices are not bad at all (except maybe the shipping is a little pricey but that could be because of my destination) and the delivery was fairly quick. My product came in perfect condition and I’m very satisfied with this website!

  Package sent from France to Canada thru the post office was only bubble wrapped!?! Won't use them again!!!!

  Received my package only in the bubble wrap with minor box damage. I consider that lucky because most items are usually bubble wrapped then placed in a box for shipping.

  I obught the Chucky Backpack, as it was the only place that had a reasonable price! It took a little longer than expected to get to me, but I'm SO happy with my purchase.
