  It's been 5 weeks since my order and they charged me for the full amount yet I only received part of my order. No emails were sent to inform me of the delay/stock status of the item that I still have not received. I just think this is bad customer service in this industry where competitors website are actually correct with the item status and you typically receive your items within a week.

  There was initially a problem with their website not posting my order; and I couldn't get the status, etc., but the customer service individuals quickly and effectively resolved any issues I had, made sure the manufacturer followed through with my order, and kept me updated. My top-tier drill press is scheduled to arrive tomorrow.

  Communication is horrible. Website shows items "in stock" when they are actually not. What they mean is items are "in stock" at their supplier. Long shipping times, no tracking numbers or order status emails. Received an email after the sale from the owner welcoming me to the family and inviting me to contact him with any questions or concerns. When I called to speak to the owner I was told "I'm too busy to speak to you about a $40 order". Owner then left this as a reply to my google review: Thank for taking the time to review Penn Tool and also harass my customer service representative this morning. The item was in stock in California and he did provide you the tracking information. If it makes you feel better to write this review I hope it made you feel better. Our other reviews certainly tell a different story of how we treat customers. That includes being respectful and not abusive over the phone. You barely made my $25.00 order minimum and I did not want to talk you about it this morning. I don't care if you spent $29.00 or $2,900.00, you do not have any right to abuse one of my salespeople. You have absolutely no clue what it is like running a business post pandemic with supply chain shortages everywhere. Yes, it is certainly is possible something is out of stock and we need to go to another supplier.   Bought a set of deburring tools for our company. Received them 2 weeks after ordering. Then, upon trying to use them, they were completely dull and worthless. I called their customer service dept and was told since they were used they cannot return them, as well as past 10 days. So I guess our company is out $140 on useless garbage and they won't back up their products. Terrible return policy. Go somewhere else for your tools.

  No stock indication on website. Call to verify stock if you're in a hurry. They're terrible at communicating. I had to call and/or email regarding every step of my order. Placed order 12/3/2021, was held in fraud department until I inquired about it on 12/17/2021. Was informed that 1 item was out of stock. I asked they send the in stock item now, and the back ordered item when available. No answer either way. I follow up 12/30/2021, was then advised both items now back ordered 3-4 weeks. I told them I was willing to wait, I understand current supply chain issues. However, the order was not officially entered until 1/10/2022, and I did receive the order until 2/17/2022. I'm not so upset about the length of time, it was the lack of communication and apathy from the company that irks me. My order was bounced around to every sales rep they have at the place. Does not seem like a well run business. However, I did receive the tools I ordered at a reasonable price. I'm unsure if I'll do business with them again or recommend them to anyone else.

  Total fail in my opinion. I had ordered an annular cutter and received an empty package. It appears that the bit had cut through the packaging. I had sent emails with pictures and am still waiting for a bit. I had to have the bit so I went to a competition to get the bit. Tired of waiting.

  Purchased an Proxxon engraving machine but was a little misled because it does not come with the engraver. Engraver has to be purchased separately. Jig is nice and sturdy. Purchase was easy. Product arrive in timely manner.

  This is the second order that I placed and both orders took me calling after weeks of waiting to get them shipped. You have the product but it should not take 3 weeks for you to ship.   Everything was well packaged and arrived intact, however most of my order arrived over a month after I had placed it. Customer service was very responsive when I contacted them about the status of my order. I would have appreciated a message earlier saying that things were either not in stock or delayed, or seeing on the website how many of those items were in stock. I would have also appreciated getting a notification saying that items had been shipped.

  The item in question iGaging Setup block Metric is excellent. The problem is the customer service. It is basically non-existent. Only acknowledgement was that the company had received my money. Subsequent phone calls stressed the large volume orders received, COVID effects, lack of personnel. Contact person, this is two weeks after receipt of bank charge, stated that order was slated to go out that evening and that tracking info would follow. Never received tracking info. Item came in two weeks after call. Product great ... service not so much.

  Good products at fair prices. Problem was that after 3 weeks I had not received the order nor any indication it had been shipped. There is no way to get order status online so I called and was told that they had a tracking number for me. When I checked the number, it had only been assigned - no product had been shipped. I asked if they send an email with shipping info when an order is filled. He said they do if they have the item in stock, but not if it is drop shipped from the manufacturer - which it was in my case. Later that day, my credit card was charged (since the per-authorization they did the day of the order had expired) and I received the order 3 days later. My order clearly fell in a crack. If I had not called, I still wouldn't have it.

  Tried to order on Black Friday, 26-Nov, but website checkout wouldn't work. Ordered by phone but couldn't get shopping costs. Email with shipping added went to Spam folder. In the meantime I had ordered on website on Monday, 29-Nov. Found email next day. Shipping in email was more than twice that from website. Cancelled phone order (by phone). Long frustrating story, but several phone calls and false promises later, I finally picked up order at XPO terminal in Fort Worth on 30-Dec, 5 days late for Christmas. Very poor online performance throughout for both Penn Tool and XPO Logistics. Phone experiences all pleasant but poor follow through on promises. Great product at decent price but terrible order experience. Omicron COVID may have played some part but nowhere near enough to account for the fulfillment and communication issues.

  Outstanding customer service and friendliness. I placed N order and had emailed them to make sure I would get the item before Christmas, they contacted me several times after calling the vendor directly and also providing a tracking number. I was also contacted by the owner. A++++.

  They increased the price of an item on my order AFTER the order was committed and charged my card more than my order confirmation showed. They also dropped an item off my order with a vague message that made it sound like it was backordered, but it was really cancelled. It took numerous phone calls to straighten out. I got my tracking number 3 days after delivery! They did not reply to emails so I had to call . . . . repeatedly. Terry treated me like I was out of line for expecting them to communicate changes. They were extremely disorganized and very annoyed that I insisted they honor the terms of the order. It wasn't much money -- just a routine price increase, but handled in a slimy, dishonest manner. It was a truly rotten experience. If you order from them, CHECK YOUR INVOICE AGAINST YOUR ORDER CAREFULLY! The deal you get may not be what you agreed to.

  The only reason for not giving 5 stars is shipping a set of digital calipers took over 2 weeks. The shipping box was filled with packing peanuts and was nearly falling apart when received.

  The site is outdated, but still manageable. I called about a week or two after my order was placed and was told that the order was cancelled somehow. No reason was given, so I re-submitted the order and it still took a long time to get to me. I wish I would have been notified of a cancelled order that I didn't cancel instead of waiting for nothing.

  I ordered an item that was supposed to be in stock. It wasn’t and that wasn’t communicated to me. They were very slow to ship and communication was poor. The only time they contacted me was to request more money for shipping. Wasn’t impressed and I’m hopeful this is not their regular service standard.

  It is difficult to write this review. Customer service has been up and down. I sent part numbers I wished to order one was out of stock which is fine, the other items they provided me links to the items unfortunatly one Item they did not send the right link and I did not notice. When I received the order I immediantly contacted them to get the right items and send back the incorrect ones. I have sent repeated emails and get replies that they are working with the supplier to correct the order. This process is taking way to long. I am trying to be patient.
