    This was my first time ordering from Penn tool and it was a large, expensive, heavy purchase at that. So I didn't know quite what to expect. I ordered right before Christmas which meant my delivery was delayed into the new year. After a week or so I contacted them and I got a prompt response telling me the order was in accounting and delivery was being scheduled. Because of the item, they had to palletize it, schedule a freight truck, etc. Because they couldn't just have it delivered by UPS or FedEx, they were subject to the availability of truckers. Once the delivery was scheduled I got contacted by the shipping company and they let me know what day and time it would be delivered. Penn tool packaged and secured my items effectively so they arrived flawlessly. Very pleased with the items I purchased and the service to have them delivered, thank you!!

    I have yet to receive the iGaging iP54 Electronic Digital Scale (35-606-P) which I ordered December 18, 2024. iGaging shipped me item #34-4466-S which I have no use for. A job is now being delayed as a result of this mistake and delayed action to resolve the matter by Penn Tool. Each time I call Penn Tool customer service I have spoken to a different person and need to explain my situation from the beginning. In these interactions I have received excuses that iGaging is difficult to contact so its not Penn Tools fault. I ordered the item from Penn Tool and if they have an issue with one of their suppliers they need to resolve it or deal with better suppliers. As of today, I believe iGaging has been made aware of the issue and is shipping a replacement but I have yet to receive any confirmation that they have shipped the replacement. My customer's job continues to be delayed and frustration builds daily . I need the tracking number to confirm the replacement has been shipped and an estimate of its delivery. This experience will make me think twice before ordering any product from Penn Tool in the future.

    Hi, I placed an order to Penn tool in regard to a tool I needed to complete a job I had going on. I was recommended this product and Penn Tool from a partnering company I work with. I placed many orders for parts and tools on this day. I had recieved everything else I needed in rresponse to the work being performed from the multiple orders I placed on this day. I patiently waited having understanding that these are specialty tools. After a couple of weeks of no tool and no information. I called to Penn tool and gave my order number. The person I spoke with told me that due to the billing address of my credit card and the shipping address on the order they had never fofilled the order. And no one had ever contacted me to tell me. I had a confirmation email stating that my order had been recieved and should ship soon from the original date. The person handling the call basically interogated me asking a million questions about why the addresses would be different. Which I can some what appreciate all though I have ordered lots of parts materials and tools from all over the world to my home for my business. The business is often not occupied and Im particularly am not a fan to leave packages at the door of the business. Needless to say I explained that I needed this tool urgently at the first order and now I needed to get it asap. The person on the phone put me on hold to speak to someone else and then came back to tell me. He needed me to respond to his detailed email that he read aloud while typing with the answers of why I having the tool shipped to my house and not the business. After all of the interogations he began to tell me no matter any problem or issue with the tool, because it was being shipped to my house I could not have a return even if defective. I explain I just needed the tool right away. after all the interogstions. He agree to ship stating that it was still another 1-6 business days. Well needless to say 8 days later I ended up finding on the internet another simular tool and ordeing it. Then called back to cancel my order that did not ship yet and got a refund. which was surprisingly easier then placing my order. I will never attempt to order anything from Penn Tool again. The 30 minbutes I sat on hold during the interogation process the hold music told me how great they were and how fast the order would be shipped to me. Not a happy customer.

    Terrible customer service! Ordered two pricey Grobet diamond triangular files. One arrived, but a set of some other files came with it. Two phone calls and a promise to address it (now 3 weeks ago) gone with the wind. Three nag emails and not even a reply I have NEVER been ignored like this. So, they have my money and I have half my order. Gotten better CS from off-shore companies that struggle with English!

    They originally sent a product that was different from what I ordered. Upon contacting them, I had to stay on top of them to keep the ball rolling, on getting the correct items. They ended up issueing an RMA for the wrong items, and sent a label for the incorrect items. After returning them items, they still got it incorrect, by only sending one of the replacement items, instead of the qty:2, I ordered. I had to contact them again, to get the other item, which they next day aired to me. Currently, I am waiting to get a refund for the items, as the replace my items were cheaper than the original items. I have sent an email asking about the status of the refund, but have gotten no response. I will not order from them again, as they caused my order to my customer to be late, and they still owe me money which is unpaid as of yet.

    Picture on website was deceiving. I did not get what was pictured with my order. When I called and talked to customer service I was told that my order was correct and that the separate item displayed was not included, even though the price I payed was pretty much the same as if I had ordered the two items separately.     Because this was a one-time order, I didn't setup an account. However, while I didn't setup an account I did not receive any notification either at the time of order or after the order was placed that the product was effectively back ordered and being shipped from a warehouse. Because I live near Penn Tool Co. I anticipated being notified shortly of the shipping information. When an inordinate amount of time passed I contacted support who then informed me of the delay product shipping. That said, I never received any shipping tracking information; the product just showed up. Eventually I received the exact product I wanted, but the order process was lacking.

    I was not made aware of the fact that you have many items drop shipped. I ordered items that were indicated as being in stock. Having dealt with McMaster and MSC for years, the expectation was that in-stock items would ship day of order or following day. For a job-shop, this wait is problematic. Had I known of your policy I would have planned accordingly and not ordered items that eee time critical from you.

    While I’m fairly certain my individual experience isn’t indicative of PennTool’s normal behavior, they need to know how my experience was. When I placed my order, I received a confirmation email, but no update for a couple weeks. Then I received a phone call telling me the person who was working on my order had quit the company. Then around a week later, I got another call telling my credit card details expired within PennTool’s system. So I gave my card information again. About a week later, I finally received my order. When I received my credit card statement, there were two charges for my order. Very shortly after that, I received another email with a due bill for the amount of my order! I replied back to the person, and she was very responsive to my reply, and did find I had already been charged twice. She apologized, had the second charge reversed, and cancelled the due bill. Again, I can’t imagine my experience is representative of PennTool’s normal customer service, but they asked, and I’m sharing what happened. Best regards, Tom

    The web site navigation was good, Ordered 0.1200" chuck reamer, Recieved the ream and took it out to the garage to ream the hole in the fixture I was creating and found out it would go thru the pre drilled hole I was going to oversize to .1200. pulled out the micrometer, the ream measured .1180". I requested an exchange, after several bissness days of not getting a response I emailed about it, the response was they're working on getting me the right one. A few more days go by I emailed that it was taking too long and requesting an RMA. Couple days later I recieve the RMA. To Penn tools credit they sent what they believed was the size I ordered, the plastic reem holder and the size etched on the shank of the ream shows .1200"

    Until I called, they didn't process the order because it was flagged as a scam or fraudulent. Had to use my own UPS account to get it shipped. I think it took a total of a month from when I originally ordered the items online, to show up to my door. I was trying to avoid getting my items via Amazon but ended up doing just that and getting them weeks before these showed up from PennToolCo. Not sure if I wasn't a big enough customer or what but I wanted to start a good relationship with them as I foreseen needing the items I needed in the future but I can't recommend using them. The lady on the phone was nice though but business is business.

    I required a Mitutoyo 6" knife edge straight edge 528-103 with a 30 degree slope. The website displayed this product. I enquire with a person in customer service who advised me that it was available with my specs. I place my order and received confirmation. The item was delivered in a short period of time. However, the product I received had a 45 degree slope instead of the 30 degree slope as shown on the website. Not impressed as I would have not ordered it if I had known.

    I needed a small tool to finish a job. I ordered from Penn instead of my usual supplier because the shipping was less and seemed more reasonable for a small, light weight, $15 item. What a mistake. After about a week I called to ask why my item hadn't yet shipped. They seemed happy to inform me that they were hoping to receive my item at their facility later that day. At no point had I been inform that my item was back ordered or that there would be a delay in shipping. I canceled my order with Penn and got it from my usual supplier 2 days later. I will not order from Penn again unless I can find no other supplier.

    When I placed my order I received a call letting me know that the item was backordered and that there would be about a two week delay. They offered me a choice of something else in stock, but I wasn't in a hurry, so I decided to wait. I'm really happy that they notified me right any and offered me a choice. This was much better than sitting and waiting not knowing what was happening.

    Website did not show item was out of stock. Emailed 4 times over the course of a week trying to ask when the item would ship and could not get anyone to message me back. DIdn't hear back until I contacted PEC and they contacted Penntool. Then and only then I was told the item was out of stock and wouldn't be in for at least 2 months. That was too long so I ordered from woodpecker instead and had PennTool cancel my order. PEC offered to send me a 12 inch combination square since I had such a bad experience but never got the tracking information they promised I would get within 2 to 3 days. After emailing them once a week for the next 4 weeks they never replied back. Not happy with Penn Tool CO because the website should state if an item is out of stock so the consumer can can make an informed buying decision and the customer service was horrid in response time though nice once they finally contacted me.

    They had what i needed/wanted. Great prices. My delivery came in a normal amount of time, however I never got a tracking number for it. In the big picture I really do not need a tracking number, however I am accustomed to having one when I use online ordering for anything. When things were delivered, they we exactly as advertised.     My item arrived damaged. It does not appear to be from shipping as the box was not damaged. The lens casing is broken, with peeling flaking plastic which falls onto the lens making it unusable. I wrote a return as instructed by the website on 1.25.24 and 11 business days later I still have not received a response or acknowledgement of any kind. What use is the information on the website if it does not get a response.

    When I initially ordered the Gerstner tool cabinet on wheels. There was total silence (weeks) without getting any emails, before I contacted Penntool. After doing so they just talked like it was ready to be shipped. Another week at least went by. I contacted Penntool and they told me that it hadn't[t been shipped because I hadn't given my ok on an extra fee of $75 for a lift to help the the item off the truck once it arrived. I was never told about this extra fee when I ordered, nor after. Not until I enquired two times about the delay. I canceled my order, and then they said I would be charge an extra fee for cancelling the item unless I let them refund me in a way that I am unfamiliar with. It took at least two more weeks for my money to be refunded to my credit card. I will not be doing business with Penntool anytime in the future.

    I am disappointed with 2 points on this purchase. At first, you offered a discount code, which was not applied. When I inquired, you did not respond. Then I had paid extra to get the "free" organizer, which was not shipped. I am not sure about the quality of the collets sent, as the one I used thus far had a few thou runout using a gauge pin. But that might be a problem with my Grizzly mill. I am not likely to order again from you.

    I placed an order for one item in mid December and got an order acknowledgement. That was the last I heard from them. They charged my credit card so I figured I’d see the item soon even though there was no shipping notice. About 3 weeks later, I emailed about the status of my order and was told it was out of stock and wasn’t expected until late March and I could either cancel the order or not, but if I didn’t cancel, I would be charged a restocking fee if I cancel later. I opted to cancel and have unsubscribed their business. Total failure of communication and customer relations.

    The item was not in stock at the time of the order. There is nothing on the website or in the item description stating that the item was not in stock. After a week, I received an email stating that was not in stock and had an 18 - 20 week extended lead time. I was given the option to cancel the order or to wait it out. I opted to wait. It is now eight weeks later, and I had all but forgotten about the order until asked to do this review. If a company lists an item for sale and asks for immediate payment, I believe the customer has the right to immediate in stock availability and timely shipment without waiting for fulfillment. I was given the option to cancel after a week, so I accepted this situation, but there is much room for improvement.

    I purchased the Astro Pneumatic Adjustable Non-Marring Precision Panel Clip Pliers - AO9581 on 11/4 and finally received the order on 11/21. The pliers I received did not match the description of the product pictured on their website. I emailed returns on 11/21 and never received a response. I called their number on 11/30 and was told that I should re-send the email to returns, but this time preface the subject with "URGENT". Again, as of 12/17, no response. I have since contacted my credit card company and put a stop to the payment. Still no response... I did however receive a copy of my invoice on 12/4...
