Spontaneous reviewCertainly not my best customer service experience but not the worst. First the good things. Very pleasant customer service people either on the phone or by email. Good quality products at a reasonable price. Shipping was okay and arrived in good order. Now the not so good. Significant delay in getting my order, almost a month from the time I ordered. First quote to ship was $250.00 by air. After a few phone calls and emails which went on for over a week, I was finally told that it would be shipped by ground for an extra $290.00 on top of what I had already paid. SAY WHAT?????. Overall I am reasonably satisfied but my two big complaints are the long wait and extra shipping cost. In the end the price was still well in market range and I would not have complained about a higher ship rate up front. In future please do your homework before presenting the client with a quote. If I was asked the question would I recommend you to others, I would say yes. Overall you are a good company and I think I was just one of the minority who did not get stellar service. Nonetheless I received what I paid for and that is all that I could ask.

Spontaneous reviewMy first impression was good, but 13 days later and still no tires is a little disappointing. I was also invoiced for free shipping and after I paid I was sent a second invoice for an extra shipping charge. I understand that shipping is expensive these days, but I would have preferred an upfront shipping cost or estimate rather than another invoice immediately after my purchase. Also tracking with Canpar has turned out to be frustrating. Not sure if I would order from Capital Auto again as I am not used to waiting so long for a delivery. (No tires yet!)

They even applied a discount after the sale, which was greatly appreciated and showed they value their customers. The refund process for returning the alternator core was also very smooth and hassle-free. Overall, a great company to do business with, and I would definitely recommend them.

Spontaneous reviewOverall the order went fine. I purchased a set of rims and tires for our new SxS. But in this instance, the tires and rims arrived on different days, rather than arriving with the tires mounted on the rims like every other tire and rim purchase I've done before. This is why people like myself buy rims and tires from 1 place.. It's to get them installed and shipped ready to go. Other than that, the sale price was fair, I could have found better if I wanted to wait, but I wanted to order on that day. Overall, I'm still happy.
