  I have shopped with the good folks at Wayfield & Sons several times over the last couple of years. Wayfield & Sons have an excellent and well stocked internet shop that always has the things I need for a very reasonable price. 3 days to ship my purchases from the heart of Manhattan to Philadelphia is quicker than most places here in the US manage too.   We would highly recommend the Wayfield & Sons Store. Rose and Josephs are very knowledgeable and really care about delivering excellent customer service.   Have driven past Wayfield & Sons hundreds of times oblivious there was such a photographic shop here on my doorstep. I went in for advice on a lens filter support. The dude who helped me was eloquent and tolerant. I felt confident enough to go ahead and buy a Xume 58mm Filter Holder to provide instant and secure attachment to lenses when a Xume Lens Adapter is installed. Website is easy to search for specific product desired, and I had efficient, quick service from the online Help representative. Thanks!

  The staff here are so helpful! I recently bought a camera from these guys online and had it sent overseas. I emailed them to ask questions about the camera, the packaging, and international postage which they were very helpful with. The package arrived in great condition! I can't confirm the quality of the camera as it was a present but I'm very happy with the service.

  Excellent customer service and it's clear both the sales reps who work there care about their customers and the products they sell. They're friendly and down to earth and willing to go the extra mile. It's not the cheapest place, but Wayfield & Sons sell quality stuff and when they do have sales on, they are very good.

  The outside of this store doesn't scream tech, but the interior unveils a geek's wonderland!! These absolute legends saved my trip by putting a battery on the charger for me before I came to buy it.   Josephs and Rose were extremely helpful in selecting the right sports & action camera for my needs and weren't pushy in the slightest, which is something that normally puts me off buying from somewhere. The customer service is impeccable and I am very happy with the Drift Ghost XL I bought today. I will be revisiting for my next purchase for sure. The DJI Vlogging/Online video kit I wanted was not in stock so they managed to sell me a slightly more simple model at a discount, which was a very pleasant surprise. Thanks again.

  I had used a DX-format camera for more than 10 years and outgrown it. So, I came to WAYFIELD & SONs, was advised by Rose to change tack to an FX-format which is very handy for me as a Commercial Photographer. So I went with a Nikon D750 with 24-120mm lens kit. Only local, reputable stores like you I trust because of the great & real quality and reliability of their photographic products and related I have bought there and they are true to their delivery dates. This could never happen if Amazon kicks in. Not as other big companies that because of their greediness and their supposed but not real fame they could sell you even gray market products .

  A paradise for Pro Camcorder Lenses & Accessories, all popular cine lenses brands, lens attachments, adapters, Follow Focus solutions, zoom & focus. I've purchased 2 DOF lens adapters in the past week and am really pleased with them, the descriptions were accurate and the pricing was fair. They took an old Canon CN-E 18-80mm T4.4 off me and offered a competitive trade in. A great company that I'll look to support as best I can moving forwards.   We visited with my dad to buy a scope for watching horses within 1000m or over 1000m. Wayfield & Sons carries a vast selection of spotting scopes intended for a variety of applications. We were helped by Josephs who analyzed a plethora of products, highlighting major features, pros vs. cons for spotting scopes dedicated to our purpose. Finally bought a Vanguard Endeavor HD 20-60x82, We are using it to observe grey Standardbred geldings on a buoy about 1000 m offshore. You can see enough detail to describe their behaviors (e.g. moving, resting) and some specific details (scratching, open mouth) etc. We've been happy with it for our purposes.

  Fantastic service, yet again, from this store! I shop at Wayfield & Sons regularly, and felt I should sing their praises on here. My latest purchase was a TV for my living space. Instead of being convoluted with technical jargon like I've received in the past elsewhere, the sales person (sorry, I've forgotten their name) explained my options in a way that even I could understand. Based on his recommendation (and with no hard sell), I bought a Samsung QN900A 65" that I originally went in for. I got it home, mounted it on the wall, and I'm delighted with the result! Thanks!

  Five stars for Wayfield & Sons as well as this Leica Q2 DANIEL CRAIG x GREG WILLIAMS camera, it boasts extremely fast AF capabilities. One of the fastest in its class. And with its new Maestro II processor I have the ability to shoot at an impressive 10 frames per second burst rate. It also has a manual focus option as well. The built-in Bluetooth LE and Wi-Fi both permit wireless sharing and remote camera control from a linked mobile device via the Leica FOTOS app. The Q2 is not an underwater camera. It does however shield itself from dust, foreign particles and water spray with its IP52-certified rating which is usually reserved for pro-level cameras. So whatever weather you are comfortable in shooting in, It should be fine for the Q2. Fantastic genuine service!!! Antonio was extremely knowledgeable and patient when explaining the difference in original & this Q.

  Is there a better photography shop anywhere in Manhattan? In NY State? In the World? I've certainly never seen one that comes close. This is shop as experience, as welcoming second home for wanderers wanting an hour's respite from the outside world, a place to lose yourself in dreams of imaging exploration and endless cups of coffee. it goes without saying, but deserves restating, that their stock of Leica, Mamiya and Hasselblad equipment is better than anyone else's; their mirrorless full-frame cameras collection is an Aladdin's cave, and their staff the most helpful, friendly, knowledgeable guys you could wish for.

  Just bought a PTZOptics 20x-SDI from WAYFIELD & SONs in Manhattan. I spoke to Josephs who was extremely helpful. He gave me a fantastic price, better than anywhere else. He explained what extras were needed and the 6 year guarantee is only 10% of the purchase price. Even better, if you don't claim, you get all your money back! I also bought a Sony TV a month ago.   Methinks I would add a review as my experience was mildly disappointing as those Ive seen. I took a Hasselblad 907X 50C that needed repairing here a while back. he fixed it within the agreed time and for the agreed price. it was a little expensive but I wanted it turning around quickly so paid around $250 I think it was. I wouldn't my Hasselblad cameras from here because they are over-priced my I was happy with the repair. the camera is still working so can't complain really.

  I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Staff were very kindly accepted a return when I inadvertently bought the wrong stills photography tripod- all without any fuss at all. Rose & Josephs helpfully spent ages setting up a clone tripod ball head - again with no fuss at all. The ordering & delivery all went smoothly. A big shout-out to Rose in particular, who was unfailingly helpful, kind and generous with her time. The company, Rose & Josephs are all highly recommended!

  I bought from Wayfield and Sons for the first time a couple of months ago, and the service was fantastic! I bought a Leica M Typ 240, which I settled on after trying a lot of mirrorless cameras. Josephs let me take my time and was really knowledgeable. Every time I tried one and said what I liked and didn't like, he had a suggestion that was better than the non full frame mirrorless cameras. There was also a problem on the supplier side with a part for the camera, and even though it wasn't their fault they were great and really went over and above to get the problem sorted. Couldn't recommend enough!

  My Auntie and I were looking for a Nikon NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f/2.8 and our feet led us to this shop. Also, with a bit of research beforehand, we found out that this shop offers an excellent customer service and they've just exceeded our expectations. We met Josephs who works at the shop and helped us with what we need although we don't have enough knowledge about lenses. He even gave us some discounts for a Nikon Polarizer set with Sensei 77mm Filter Stack Caps and some few accessories. For those beginners like us who plan to get a Z Mirrorless lens, the best place to go to is this one. I highly recommend this shop. Deserves a 5 star review. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

  Rose is my sales representative of choice; she is a very good listener and offers excellent educated advice. She has a wealth of information I've not witnessed anywhere. If you are interested in photography, Rose will recommend the right equipment and how to use it to its optimum potential. Given my experience with the competition, I very strongly recommend that you consult Rose before your next upgrade.   Went in to the shop today with a friend of mine who was looking at buying a new Fujifilm X100V. Wasn't actually purchasing anything myself but the service I witnessed from Josephs who was serving my friend was second to none! He gave him an amazing deal on his Fuji and just made us both feel extremely welcomed and relaxed in the shop. We even had a cup of coffee together in the shop! Great experience all in all and would highly recommend this place to absolutely anyone. Thanks Josephs and his co worker! Will definitely be returning

Besides OLED, it's the terrific picture, for the money I've seen; Colors, brightness, & contrast, sinuously flowing downstream on screen, straight out of the box; no fine tuning required; standard settings; 4K Netflix programs are surreal; audio was not as simplistic; had to install a Toslink Optical cable to receive 5.1 surround sound. That said, I LOVE my new SAMSUNG TV!

  I bought this DJI Mini 2 Fly for my son. He is very gleeful with it, and the extra items in the combo kit, plus the free items gave the bang for our every buck. It's appropriate for him to learn with. He mostly pilots over our small water pond for background and the woodlands carpeting the backyard looking for bear. He plans to use it this summer in his scenic work.

  I bought the Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD G2 there before, and the Meyer-Optik Gorlitz 100mm f2.8, GFX 100S and several Nikon DSLR cameras. And now because of the inflation of the US economy, Covid19, the price of all photography equipment, including Meyer-Optik Gorlitz, has doubled, and the price for me to assemble a few mirrorless camera systems far exceeds my budget.

  Josephs explained differences between a new and refurbished Nikon D5600. I have used this brand new D5600 camera for mostly outdoors. Landscape and for medium and close up. No problem in full sun. I want to photograph small-town night cityscapes with a wide angle zoom lens. The lens you mount is the most critical and expensive part of your purchase.

  DJI Inspire 2 is a fantastic tool to pilot, Spotlight Pro allows footage. I owned the Inspire 1 and now the Inspire 2 with X5S camera and I'm very glad that made the move to the Inspire 2. Very decent aircraft with much better flight times. They're core to my arsenal when I'm shooting film and documentaries. I highly recommend them for professional cinema drones.

  I enjoy photographing architecture, Antonio was helpful in the latest firmware update to invoke a Perspective Control feature for my Leica M10-P. The architectural detail of any building taken with a 75mm lens is sublime. Though typically associated with wide-angle lenses, Leica’s perspective control feature can be used with any focal length lens. If you can adapt the lens to a Leica M10, you can use it as a perspective control lens. Thanks & Shout out to Antonio!!

  This Lee field pouch from WAYFIELD includes slots for the 100x150 filters are well made and a lovely soft cloth. But it does not hold your filter holder - which is a necessity for using the Lee filter set. the mounting assembly nor the mounting assembly with a polarizer on it do not fit into the pouch. It's not crafted for neutral grads, stoppers and polarizers. Waste of money if it can't accommodate essentials in the field.

  This Leica Manual Summicron-M 50mm F/2 lens is beautifully sculpted for wonderful outcomes. I also bought a Leica camera and the combination generates magnificently sharp and colorful photos. I highly recommend this lens & store, razor-sharp edge-to-edge!

  I decided to purchase the X-T30. I am so glad that I did. I love the camera. I'm still getting acquainted with all the buttons and the menu but I have take a few pictures and was amazed at the image quality. I have the 18-55mm kit lens. It is one of the best kit lens I've used. If you are considering buying a Fujifilm camera, I highly recommend Wayfield & Sons as authorized dealers. The price is right. The specs are great. And you will be pleased with the photo results.

  As an amateur photographer I needed a tripod that was both functional and easily transportable. I’ve bought chemicals, film, filters, and a film scanner (so far!) Ali helped me get exactly what I needed, and nothing I didn’t.   It is easy to set up. The sound is great. A few red flags: the TV has just 'went off' a few times on its own. Goes back on - but this has never happened w/previous TVs. Sometimes portions of the picture will have ephemeral pixel blurs, which is very disconcerting. Hope I don't have to send back.

  I thirsted for the Leica premium camera from teenage and this Leica Q2 is a dream come true for an amateur photographer with more than 20 years. Just taking it out of the box, I could feel this was a solid camera. The controls are well laid out and intuitive. It's fine-tuned for street photography, portraits and wedding. What a work of art and tech and easy to use, it is an absolute pleasure and gives me tack sharp pictures every time. Sharp as a tack! It was a very wise decision in purchasing the Leica Q2.   I am 72 years old and have been feeling technologically aloof in this fast-paced technology world. Yesterday, I bought my very first MacBook Air.   Magnificent selection of more than just photo and video gear. It's really a one stop shop for most all electronics needs. It's the first place I go and typically the last.   Purchased this fourth-generation iPad Air as Christmas gift for my grandmother. She already has a MacBook pro but the iPad Air is even more portable and perfect for her to take quick notes and for sketches.   I'm disappointed with this Sennheiser ME 2-II I bought here. I usually use a Saramonic UwMic9 2-Personand wanted something less massive for video. The lav has a great construction quality, but the sound is nowhere near the quality of a top-end mic. After trying all tricks, I was disappointed. I didn't expect the difference to be so great. I put the Saramonic on a boom and the sound quality is much better.
