I had gone for some blood work but had forgotten to get one study. I needed all the studies for an upcoming appointment with my prescribing doctor. I thought it would take weeks to get a blood-drawing appointment and to get the results but I bought the study, only available at LabCorp, and was able to schedule it for later the same day. I went and they sent me the results in less than 24 hours!!!! I was amazed.

As far as Walk-in Lab services goes it gets a very good rating but its affiliate LabCorp does not. The check in system did not work as intended which caused much delay getting the draw. Scheduling an appointment was essentially nullified because of the poor check-in system. Will try Quest next time.

So far my experience with Walkin labbs is excellent. Ordering a lab test is easy. Their customer service is exemplary. Recently when I requested for extending the validity fior an already expired oder I got it extended for another 6 months with no questions asked in couple of hours. Seems like they've made it harder instead of easier over the years to find the test you want. The comparison feature leaves much to be desired. It shouldn't take me a half hour to pick out a test that includes only the thyroid tests I want and not a bunch of extra tests I don't want or need. But the ordering process is painless, once you've gotten past the pain of finding the right test and not being forced to overpay for silly extras you don't need.
