  Walk-in-Lab is a great service for those who want to monitor their blood levels more frequently than once a year. They have every conceivable combination of lab testing available. They are reasonably priced and easy to schedule. I like it that I can access my reports directly from the Walk-in-Lab website. These are safe and secure. So very thankful for this services. I highly recommend Walk-In-Lab.

  I love how easy this process was. I pay for the lab order and it was electronically sent to Quest (lab center I prefer). I got the results in 2 business days! Walk in Labs also alerted me to the results along with Quest. I also want to note that for the particular lab order I wanted, it wasn't necessary to make a primary care visit to see my usual doctor. So, using Walk in lab saved me time and cut out an extra step and money of copays. Thanks!

  Website is pretty good. Prices are high, as everything in health care. Phone customer service was helpful, and wait on hold wasn't too long. The one confusing thing was the printed "order" to take to the lab asked for a patient signature and a doctor signature. That was confusing. Why is it on there if it isn't required? It risks problems at the clinic if the tech processing the order is not familiar with the form / request for a doctor's signature. Remove it if it isn't needed. At a minimum, update your website and EXPLAIN under FAQ that your order form is confusing and those signatures are actually not required.

  Thank you for your reply. The point of my review was to tell you that you need to at a minimum EXPLAIN on your website when (if ever) a signature from the patient and/or doctor is required. It should be in the FAQ area, at a minimum. And even better, you should change your template form in your lab ordering system, and remove the request for signatures if they are never required.

  Thanks, Lacey. I know that the results have been available in little time. I got an email informing me about that. Opening the email was no help. All I got was information on more and other tests. Could not find anywhere the CLR part, so I gave up for the moment. Guess I have to sihn in and go from there.

  I needed labwork, i paid for it, I printed the script, walked in and got it done. Results from 1 day to 6 days as per the individual test. Overall it all worked out fine. The industry as a whole seems overpriced but this is the best prices I could fine outside of going to the doctor.

  The web interface is awful. I had to facilitate a lab for my mother. I have no idea in 2023 how elderly folks would ever get anything done. Who makes this stuff?? It took me an hour on check in at the lab just to rectify a minor issue that was caused by the web interface which ended up being corrected with a phone call and a fax. This is at a point of ridiculous now.

  I received the order immediately and went and had my blood test done the next day with no problems. This was my first time using Walk-In. In the past, I'd used at home A1C test kits, but this was less expensive and I felt I would get a higher quality result using a real lab.

  The overall process was fairly quick and simple. The Walgreens location was convenient, but I will be looking for a different location (because of the decision by Walgreens to allow their pharmacists to decide which prescriptions they choose to fill, based on their personal opinions, an ugly slippery slope). This location must have converted a former back room closet into this lab, and it could really use artwork on the walls resembling windows, the poor phlebotomist is seriously turning into a robot! Ambience matters, especially when having a needle stuck into my body. She didn't go through my vein and leave a hematoma this time, she improved her record to 3/5, and is skilled about knowing what to do, but give the poor person a window!! She's personable enough, but the silent, "get out!" vibe, as soon as the needle was removed was palpable. I'm not looking for a friend, but let me get my sleeve back down! ( Last time there was a wonderful African American phlebotomist who blew my mind, because I truly didn't even feel it -- a first for me-- I'd heard it was possible, but had never experienced it until then! ) I'll chalk this most recent visit up to "everybody has a bad day now and then". Skill was better, 3/5 without hematoma, but i felt like a bother.
