  I talked with someone who was very helpful and patient. I've never heard of this service before and was confused - but thankful. I'm seeing a naturopath, and of course Medicare is not going to cover her services or lab requests.

  I have no idea how accurate the test results are, but the price is reasonable and the metrics are what I wanted to find out, so I would recommend. The lab was also very close by, so it was pretty stress-free, or at least as much as something like this can reasonably be.

  Did CardioIQ test for LDL lipid fractionation amounts and ApoB score so could assess whether was in need of statins and being a senior citizen with potential athrogenic problem with my vascular system.. Think primary care physicians should order this and insist upon this prior to recommending statins for patients..Standard lipid panel does not give a very good picture of this physical condition.

  I have used walk-in-lab several times a year over the last few years for checking my hormone levels. I prefer to use them vs going through my doctor, because 1) the are cheaper this way (using the grouped labs), and sometimes I get to apply the occasional discounts on top of this: 2) I get to see the lab results beforehand so I can be more proactive about my own care, while I do my own research prior; and sometimes I’ll add in a lab that my doctor would not normally order, out of curiosity- like to check for cancer markers, or to check my cortisol levels, or electrolytes. 3) my lams are all in one place, where I can look them up, whenever ai want,,without having to deal with office personnel, or wondering which doctor ordered what.

We do not handle any part of the specimen collection or process. If you would like, we can file a formal complaint on your behalf with the lab location you went into for testing. Anytime this happens and you do not receive results, a new lab order is offered at no cost to you. We would also like to assist you with locating a closer collection site, our lab locator is available on our website, or we can assist you with this over the phone.   Very convenient when you know what labs you need ordered. I went to Quest and had my results within 48 hours. I saved hundreds of dollars on my annual tests including my more extensive thyroid panel needed. This was cheaper than what I have paid with insurance in my past, so I will definitely be doing this annually.

  Excellent service. So grateful to be able to have access to my own blood chemistry numbers. Very liberating to not have to fight for my own knowledge.
