I love being able to order my own blood work. Often I'll wait for a sale. Even without a sale Find the price cheaper that going through my medical provider. You only pay for the test. You don't pay an extra charge for venipuncture. The results come just as quickly and they're easy to access.

I have purchased my own labs through Walk In Labs for many years. Not only is it easy but very affordable to those of that are on Medicare. Sadly Medicare does not cover a lot of labs. Also, the people that answer the phone are incredibly helpful and kind. You also do not have to wait for a long time for them to answer the phone. Put in the order online, I printed out the order and went to the Quest center I normally go to. They already had the order in their system so they didn’t even need the print out. They quickly got me in and out for my blood test and it took less time than they said to get my results back. Awesome service!

I can't recall ever giving less than 5 stars before, but unfortunately there was a little bit of an issue this time that warrants a slight deduction. This most recent order was actually a combination of two prior orders that I wanted to be able to take care of in one trip with minimal fuss. The FAQ is clear that this is possible with a simple contact. I tried the web form submission twice over the course of a week and received no response whatsoever (yes, I kept constant watch on my spam/junk mail folder, just in case). I'm not a talker and don't enjoy making phone calls if I can avoid it, but given the radio silence using the contact form, I figured I had no choice but to call. Fortunately and in stark contrast to trying to use the web form, my call experience was great, with minimal wait, a pleasant person on the line (wish I could remember her name to give her kudos...Faye, maybe?), and two or three minutes to get everything squared away with a new, combined requisition immediately available on my account. So that'd be my only polite suggestion, to please ensure all forms of contact will be responded to, if they are to be listed as options on the contact page. Happy otherwise!

I ordered three tests and received the results for two of the tests within 24 hours, but the third test (an A1C test) I am still waiting as it says "pending" I called after 58 hours to inquire and had to leave a message which went unanswered. I wrote an email today so hopefully an answer soon.

I have been using Walk-In-Lab for over 10 years. I usually buy the Female Weight Management panel twice a year, (though my BMI is 20) because the tests reflect my health goals. Insurance will only pay for a few of tests. Manage your health - your doctor doesn't know you like you do!
