  The website is just highly dysfunctional: - The add to cart button keeps resulting in "Your cart is empty message" - During checkout the Paypal option fails. Something about a Auth token expired or something. - Same thing for the Amazon Pay integration was broken similarly. Forcing a Credit Card route. - Finally somehow my first name and last name have been swapped somewhere in the process. Beautiful products, and website at first glance. But very broken experience :(

  I discovered the numerous colors of Peugeot salt and pepper shakers while I was looking for a pepper grinder in Germany. The Bistro colors do not seem to be available from US retailers, so I was excited to find that I could purchase them online through Peugeot-Saveurs.com. I really appreciated that I did not have to pay for shipping.

  After 36 years our wedding-gift pepper mill spit the bit, so we ordered a new one in olive wood. VERY easy to buy, and now it sounds like they want to pay off on the lifetime warranty by sending another free one! Amazing....

  We had a previous Peugeot-Saveurs set of salt and pepper grinders that we liked very much. When we needed to replace the pepper grinder, we tried a different brand recommended by a well regarded newspaper. It was very disappointing: cheaply made and not a fine grind. So we bought the updated Peugeot grinder and like it even better than the first: it’s easier to push the grinder button, and it’s lighter in weight. It still has the same solid/quality construction.

  The actual salt and pepper mill were great overall. However, the delivery experience was a disaster. It got lost during shipment and arrived with the box crumpled up. The salt mill sustained a damaged button and broke open spilling all the free salt sample. Their customer service was great and is mailing me new buttons for both mills, since they said they were a bit dated. Overall, quality products, just a subpar delivery experience.

  I am pretty disappointed in the salt and pepper shakers I ordered. I ordered "eggplant" for one and it is bright purple. It looks a LOT bluer on the website. I also find them hard to operate. The lacquer finish makes them very slippery and difficult to turn. They would have been returned if there wasn't a "no return" policy.

  I have been looking for quality pepper and salt mills. When I was in Europe a couple of months ago, I had an occasion to use a Peugeot mill and was so impressed with how well they worked and easily they adjusted. I ordered several when I got home and have been so happy with them. Wish I had known about them years ago.

  The salt mill "The Royan" is not a favorite mill for me due to the grinding mechanism not seeming to grind the salt at a minute level for my taste and would choose the competitors brand with ceramic or nylon grinders anyday, yet it is a nice mill to give away to a relative.

  I have used Peugeot salt and pepper mills for over 30 years and have treasured these kitchen work horses with multiple jobs every day. I did not, however, have the special salt mill for sea salt. After gifting a set of Nancy mills (including the special mill for wet salts) I decided to order one for myself as I basically use sel de mer from Guérande and from Le Saunier de Camargue. I am so very happy with my new Nancy special sea salt mill!
