  The site kept sending me to an error page. Selecting an out of stock option sends me to an error page instead of just telling me the item is out of stock. Also, the checkout process was very slow and worked very poorly. I tried it on 3 different, up-to-date, modern browsers, and in each case it was bad. There is also very little helpful product information. The difference between classical and other models is not clearly explained. Do they use the same grinding mechanism? What are the other differences? The whole thing is a slow, confusing, frustrating, useless mess.

  The salt comes out of the bottom of the salt mill I received and the wood around the bottom looks like it is going to split in two weeks. This was to replace one I had for 13 years (the wood split). They don’t make them like they used to!

  HORRIBLE I thought I ordered a regular pepper mill... I had ordered 2 months ago and it didn't work. I discovered it didn't work after it was too late to return! Then I ordered a second pepper mill that I thought was black since I couldn't find any others. But it was dark grey glossy pepper mill. Then I ordered a black glossy pepper mill "Icon" but did not realize the top was silver!!! So it doesn't match my salt mill You have a policy of not taking returns! I will NEVER buy from you again. How can you be in business and not take returns??

  The grinder I received did not work. There’s no where to process a return, called the phone number and no one calls you back. Sent back the grinder on my own, the cheapest shipping was $15. And I have no way to contact them regarding the broken grinder or return. Absolutely do not recommend this seller. Buyer beware.

  At checkout, this website is balky, frustrating. Denied several times on PayPal, a payment method which I use an dozens of other sites. Lots of delays, spinning balls of death, a real disincentive to use. Peugeot products are superb, world-class. Website checkout is poor.

  These things just don't work. What's more: no returns. "Since you've used them we can't return them." How else would I have known that they're not functioning as intended? Totally unacceptable for a company in 2024 to operate like a bazaar merchant hocking wares. I expected a much more customer-centric response from a company as renowned as Peugeot Saveurs.

  Five stars for the product! Wonderful mill and delicious salt and peppercorns. Communication with the company is lacking. I never received any kind of confirmation email after placing my order, leaving me hoping I hadn’t somehow just paid a scammer instead of a legitimate website. It was a relief to receive the package. I also attempted to register my product to activate the warranty, but my email sent through the website inquiring how to do this has yet to be answered in any way. So five stars for the product for sure, only two for customer service.

  Aside from great service, I recommend Peugeot because the product is outstanding! You will be hard-pressed to find a better Pepper, Salt, or Grinding Mills anywhere. The pricing was fair and the shipping was very speedy!

  I wanted to purchase a wooden pepper grinder because our last one from Peugeot was wonderful. The search feature on the website wasn't very helpful, but it wasn't a big deal because there are a finite number of grinders. I ordered the 4.73 inch grinder in chocolate. I was also browsing for other products, and apparently I took long enough my cart was emptied and I needed to start the order again. After submitting my order, I checked for an email confirmation and didn't receive one. The site didn't have a confirmation either, so I waited about 15 minutes to see if maybe the confirmation was slow. When it didn't arrive I thought the order must not have gone through, so I went through the process a second time and submitted my order. At which point, I did get a confirmation. Moments after that, I got a second confirmation. For the same product, with the same shipping cost. I was frustrated by the process at that point, but I figured I could use the second order as a gift, so I didn't cancel it. Both arrived promptly, which was nice. However, the design has changed slightly and the knob on top of the grinder is now a light feeling plastic rather than the substantial metal knob our old grinder used. I left the interaction dissatisfied with the website's functionality and the product I purchased. If I ever decide to purchase something else from this company, I'll go to a store and skip their website completely. For a pepper grinder that costs as much as this one does, I'd hope for a more smooth purchase process.

  Multiple reviews warned us that product came damaged or used but I thought it was not the norm as this is reputable company. My husband wanted these grinders for some time now and upon arrival as his birthday gift, he opened the box and the product was in ripped boxes and used. I was appalled. Although the company made things right, their quality control needs enhancements and controls prior to fulfillment and shipment.

  I absolutely love the beauty and wonderful functionality of my salt and pepper shakers. They meet the high expectations I had for them. Hopefully, the website itself will soon meet the quality of the items being sold! Despite some difficulties placing my order, shipment and delivery were very fast.

  The coffee grinder is well made and easy to use. But it does not work properly. I have been in correspondence with Peugeot over this and am awaiting response.

  I got two "specialty" grinders from Peugeot recently. One grinds "long peppers" -- it works like a charm, and the peppers has such special flavor...and shape -- such a pleasant surprise that Peugeot makes a grinder for it! The other grinder is for "hot chili peppers" -- I at first ran into a snag with it -- I wanted to use my own-grown peppers instead of the ones that come in the grinder, so I emptied the contents when I got it and ended up spilling all the grinder components which broke immediately cuz I probably reassembled the components incorrectly. After much pic-sending and info-providing, Peugeot sent me a new grinder that works like a charm...along with being really pretty with the red chili peppers in it! Really impressed with the Peugeot grinders...as well as their standing behind their product even though it was (partially) my fault for breaking it. Thank you!

  I had to return the first set of S&P grinders I purchased as a gift for my daughter for Christmas, she wanted a shorter set. The response I got about returning the grinders was curt at best. I got a very snotty email from a woman with the company. It was strongly worded that they couldn’t have been used and they would NOT be accepted for return if used. I have no problem with the fact that they couldn’t be used, they weren’t, it was just such an unfriendly email, almost accusatory in nature. I hope I never want to order something again from your company for fear I might have to return something. I just didn’t appreciated the email at all.
