It would be better if the software is programmed on aanner that those advised tests while fasting get the early morning slots and closer to their place of living. Also, the payment should be charged after selecting the time and location for test and not before that.

I'm a retired research pharmacokineticist and I love reading my lab values. I've been trying to get my physician's office to provide a useful PDF summary copy of my results, but to no avail. This is the first time I have used your services, and you came through with flying colors. Second reason is that your phlebotomist was great. First time quickly found the vein and started drawing the samples. She was also pleasant. I had to use the chatline to figure out how to get the PDF file and the Chat line personal (both of them) were professional. The last reason is that the costs are very reasonable, and results are returned as soon as I had expected them.

PROS: 1) Cost was significantly lower compared to LabCorp which is my normal lab. 2) Received my results on line the day after my blood draw. CONS: The only issue was finding the place. It's located in the back of a grocery story (Safeway) which was not explained in the patient instructions. Also, the door appeared to be locked because it had a code pad on the handle. I was initially reluctant to enter but eventually I tried opening the door handle and it opened. All was good after that. When I left I saw a couple outside the door who appeared to be frustrated and confused. I told them that they could go right in if they were here for blood work and they were relieved and thanked me.

Overall: I absolutely LOVE being able to request & purchase labs on my own. We humans OUGHT to be able to find out clinical information about our bodies without having to "ask permission", and UltaLabs makes that possible. The receipt & order details print out easy & clear. When I take it to the lab, they are quickly able to see what's needed & do the tests. No fuss, no muss! The printouts also advise if something special is needed (fasting, etc). I especially love the reporting that shows test results over time side by side for each item, so you can see trending. Issues: 1) My physician seems to have difficulty pulling reports, although we've ensured she has access. I believe she's involved Tech support a couple of times. I can dl a copy & email it to her, but I shouldn't have to. 2) The one time she was able to get in, the physician report looks different than my report. We collaborate via Zoom - we should be looking at EXACTLY the same information in EXACTLY the same format. Having differences is frustrating. 3) Re: Ordering, the lists of reports my physician is able to see/access/order doesn't match what I as a customer am able to see / access / order. Please be transparent: make them the same, with everything visible across the board. Suggestion: It would be nice if there were linkouts upon purchase to go straight to major lab services sites to schedule a draw. (As opposed to going to those sites myself, separately, after completing a purchase.)

Asked very specifically for a test that included testing for a certain blood parasite. Test was performed, results came back but did not mention the very parasite I specifically requested. Called Ulta Labs to ask for test results that identified the specific parasite I had requested and they could not have been less helpful. Told me the test performed did test for the requested parasite but were not willing to put that in writing in the lab results. Terrible company, terrible attitude, terrible customer service.

We apologize that you were expecting a different type of reporting from the lab than you received. We suggest you share your results with your primary physician who is trained on how to interpret and understand the lab report and what it covers so that they can advise you of how the results of this test correlate to your current health condition or disease state. One report alone does not state that you do or dont have a disease or condition. Your physician will also let you know this. Should your physician need further information regarding your lab results, please contact us and we will be happy to set up a consultation between your physician and the lab at no additional charge to you. Ulta offers the cheapest lab tests I have been able to find online and they regularly have some good sale promotions. Their customer service is usually satisfactory or better but there have been a couple of less than satisfactory customer service reps who seemed less knowledgeable or disinterested about my concerns.

This is the first time I had to pay out of pocket for lab work since I no longer have insurance. The checkout was seamless. The blood lab got the paperwork within 10 mins. After getting my email order, I noticed that my coupon code wasn’t applied and I thought I was doomed. I emailed customer service and they responded within 5 mins rectifying the situation. Before the next morning, I had my lab results. TALK ABOUT OUTSTANDING SERVICE!!
