I very much appreciated the personal contact with Lauren - her ability to guide me through the process and to reassure me that the decisions I made both with regard to the stone and the setting, worked well together. The 3D pictures I was able to review before my purchase, which included the actual stone I had selected, made the decision much easier, especially purchasing such an expensive item unseen and from another country. Last but not least, the packaging was beautiful,and the documentation provided made things feel even more special. I would certainly do business with this company again.

This was an exceptional experience that in the end created a ring that my wife absolutely loved. Not only was it a beautiful ring but she really appreciated that I had designed it for her. I have been buying jewelry online for several years as I find more value/quality in the products than my local jewelry stores. Fortunately I came across The Natural Sapphire Company and with a little trepidation initiated contact. Erika promptly emailed back and we began what for me was a really enjoyable process of designing a ring. The website is amazing with multiple search options and in depth 3D views of unlimited sapphires. I narrowed down several choices of sapphires in my price range, chose different settings and received great mock ups of the rings. Website grade A.What really made the difference was the attentive patient service that Erika provided through out the design process of the ring. We looked at quite a few designs and she was always promptly responsive, gave great feedback/advice, never got impatient or pushy to complete the sale, and even tried to refund some money after minor misunderstanding. Mike, my fiance, and I purchased my engagement ring from the NSC a few years ago. So when it came time to design our wedding bands, there could be no other choice than to return to our friends at the NSC. We worked with Erika, one of the gemologists. She guided us through the options available. Because of Mike's work and active lifestyle, his ring required additional consideration with regard to comfort and having a low profile. Erika suggested obtaining 3D models of our bands to see exactly how they would look and feel. That was invaluable to us. After making some adjustments , we decided on the final ring design. All we can say is, ""Wow!"" We were absolutely pleased with the results. Our rings bear the same scroll design, but each is different and suited to its wearer. Much like Mike and I, our bands are the same yet wonderfully individual. Thank you Erika and NSC for all your help and expertise in creating rings that so flawlessly symbolize our union. My only question is....why can't we rate you all 6 stars?

My experience buying a customized engagement ring for my fiancee from the Natural Sapphire Company has been a really enjoyable one from start to finish. I'm very impressed with this company, from the level of personalized customer service they provide, to the quality and attention to detail they give to their branding and products/packaging. Even their renderings are spot-on and very realistic. Most of all, we're very happy with the gem we ended up with.Even if my purchase fell within a relatively smaller budget than other engagement rings out there, it wasn't treated any differently and I received the package in a very timely manner. I've dealt with other (large) online jewelry retailers before and I can say that the Natural Sapphire Company is definitely in a class of its own. The craftsmanship is quite impressive, down to the inscription on the inside of the ring.I knew nothing about jewelry, let alone anything about precious stones prior to this, but Lauren was very helpful with answering my questions, not to mention their website has tons of information on their products and how they were sourced. No issues with the ordering process of my engagement ring. The item arrived when they said it would, exactly as described and well presented. I have since had it valued by a UK jewler (which you will need to do to add to contents insurance) the valuation was correct, and the gems certified as described. I really cannot say enough about the level of service, quality and value I received from Lauren and the Natural Sapphire Company.I had been shopping diligently for several months and every jeweler I visited wanted thousands of dollars for something worth a maybe quarter of what they were asking. Thankfully I stumbled upon NSC and after speaking with Lauren they came through with a beautiful natural sapphire mounted ring with solid construction and a reasonable price. Now normally when you get value like that the service is lacking….BUT NOT LAUREN!!! She was so kind and helpful, she got me schematics and gem history’s and gave me different options, replied to all my emails quickly and worked with me, she really just worked with me until we had the perfect ring for the right price. If you are like me and are at the brink of a panic attack looking for the right ring then give NSC a call, I promise you’ll be a customer for life afterwards just as I am.

People often spend a lot of time shopping around for their engagement ring, I was no different. I went to lots of websites, read about all the different types of mineral you can place on gold and give to a significant other to show that you want to enter into a legal contract lasting for the rest of your lives. (Disclaimer: I am in law school) I personally like to feel the thing I am buying will have value after I purchase it, especially when I spend a lot of money.These ideas are what led me to decide on Sapphires, which are the 2nd most scratch resistant mineral and are also very durable for everyday wear, nothing scratches sapphires besides diamonds, and they are more durable than diamonds when it comes to chipping. I also began to realize that there is no such as an ethical diamond because it is impossible to know where most consumer level diamonds come from. This is not the case for sapphires, whose value is derived heavily from its uniqueness and many can be traced back to where they came from. The ring I got my fiance was from Montana, I know this in part because The Natural Sapphire company gave me a certificate that informed me of that, but also because where you get this type of color is only available in 3 locations in the world, Sri Lanka is one of those locations and The Natural Sapphire company performs charity work for the communities that mine for them. Diamonds, much like new cars, decrease a lot in value after you purchase them, mostly because the average consumer can't afford a diamond that is unique in anyway. Fantastic buying experience from start to finish. From the designing to purchasing, Lauren was amazing. Very patient, fielded any and all questions with professional poise and understanding. The process was new to me, and a little intimidating spending that kind of money on something sight unseen, but they offer a variety of ways to see your product via 3d renderings, castings and even will ship the gemstone with a deposit. Purchased my fianceès engagement ring from the natural sapphire company. They put together a really unique man's ring. It has a round orange-brown natural sapphire that looks great in the setting we chose. They did a fine job of bezel- setting the stone, too. I now have a good ring to wear daily that looks good on my hand and adds decoration which isn't gaudy. They were really good to work with from start-to-finish also.

My experience with the Natural Sapphire Company was fantastic and I wholeheartedly recommend their website. I am knowledgeable about gemstones and have very high standards. Unfortunately, most jewelry stores assume that their customers are ignorant and so provide only the bare minimum of details. This is particularly true in regards to things like sourcing, color intensity, inclusions, and treatments. The Natural Sapphire Company shares all that information upfront, and also divides sapphires by color better than any other company I have seen, (for example other companies might have a ""green sapphire"", but NSC has: blueish-green, green, greenish-blue.) Their website also offers many educational pages, which again go far beyond what others offer. I found my perfect stone (Montana, greenish-blue, no-heat treatment, vivid, eye-clean) at a very reasonable price point on their website. I picked out a ring and asked for a computer rendering as well as a photo of the stone in natural light. The customer service was excellent every step of the way! They even took the initiative to talk with me about whether 18k or 14k rose gold would match the gemstone better. The color difference is subtle, but worth discussing (I picked 18k). That kind of attention to detail is rare and precious. The ring arrived with in-depth paperwork about the sapphire and a large bottle of cleaning solution. I expected the usual velvet ring box. Instead, it came in a heavy metal box, the weight seems to say ""something very special is inside."" There were several layers of packaging, all of which were nicely done.The sapphire and the ring exceeded my expectations. I thought I knew what it would look like. But the reality is so much better! It's GORGEOUS!I know I want a Purple Sapphire next, and I'll be going straight back to the Natural Sapphire Company.

I was looking for a non traditional sapphire engagement ring for my fiancé and after a quick search, I ended up on the Natural Sapphire Company website. This company is wonderful! This is the second time I have worked with them, and they are amazing. The first time was to create a set of wedding rings, which I loved. The second time, after my husband and I separated, was to create a personally meaningful ring to wear on THAT finger. This ring is beautiful and exactly as I pictured it. When it came back to the customer service representative and she was not happy with the quality, she returned it to production to have them make some changes. Lauren was absolutely a pleasure to work with from start to finish. I wasn't the easiest/smoothest client...I asked for photos, in sun and indoors, then she sent the stone to me for view, then I sent it back and yada yada yada. The whole process was handled most professionally and proficiently and even though they knew the stone was just being viewed at first, the wrapping and packaging was just like a gift. If I ever need another ring or encounter someone else who is as obsessed with sapphires as I am, I will surely recommend them. And I dealt with many companies before deciding on NSC and I'm so glad I did. They even engraved my band for free as a thank you. What service!

Stunning Ring - Exceptional Customer Service!My husband-to-be purchased my engagement/wedding ring set online from NSC - they were stunning and sparkly and perfect - I was in love. Unfortunately we were burgled back in February, and as we don't get married until April 2019 the wedding band was stolen and I was heartbroken. I contacted NSC to see if they could remake the wedding band which to my delight they said they could. Mary suggested that we send back the engagement ring to ensure a perfect fit with the wedding band. It was the perfect opportunity to get my engagement ring resized as after secretly measuring a different one at home it was slightly too big. Before we sent it off I noticed that unfortunately one of the diamonds had fallen out of the engagement band. I emailed Mary in a bit of a panic but was responded to by a true professional who assured me that the diamond would be replaced as the ring was under warranty and the others would be checked to ensure they were secure.Mary was an absolute pleasure to deal with, she always responded to my emails promptly and informatively and phoned where necessary. She really made the whole experience of returning, resizing, fixing my ring, stress free, especially as we are based in the UK.There are some stunning pieces of jewellery on the website and I am eyeing up a new pair of earrings. I purchased a sapphire ring online. Their website is very user friendly, and they give you a good 360 degree view of the gemstones. A great source for unheated, natural stones. Online website doesn't reflect actual buying experience. For a company that manages a large website, it was devastating to find out that a sapphire I had in my online cart was sold to someone else even after I had the ability to checkout online and 'purchase' the sapphire. Furthermore, email communication from client services never came through, and I had to go out of my way to check up on the order status. Their response was curt that it was no longer available, and that an alternative style sapphire in oval shape, less CT smaller dimensions, could be cut down to a pear, for which I would have to pay more for...Very terrible experience overall purchasing online. I guess you are better off visiting their storefront in NYC than attempting to buy online from this experience. The least the company could do is work with me to honor the final price I had paid/authorized for online thinking I would get the intended sapphire that is no longer available and sold to someone else...*Edit - changing rating to reflect that I am in touch with the company's VP to possibly sort out this situation. Will update once again if progress is made.*Update 9/18/18: Natural Sapphire Company was unable to find a satisfactory replacement within my time frame. The search can't go on ad infinitum, hence the end of the transaction.*Update 9/24/18: Company has been badgering me to remove this review anyway possible and has gone as far as to report this review.

I give 5 stars because I can't give more. EVERYTHING about the process and product was beyond expectation! Their website is very well organized and user friendly, with more of a selection than you can imagine!!! That was honestly the hardest part... Selecting my sapphire because there was just SO many options in every size, cut, and color! All of their pictures are of THAT PARTICULAR STONE, too - not a.stock photo that can be highly misleading. In fact, most of their sapphires have video/360 rotation available as well so you can get a real look at the facets and how well it sparkles. I chose a bluish green sapphire from Montana. Lauren helped my fiancée and I so much, too. She answered all of our questions, helped create renderings for my stone in my chosen setting so I could get a real look at what I would be getting. The ring is 100% STUNNING to.say the least! The box it comes in is incredible (no plastic or velvet here)! They also sent all of the documents and info for my sapphire to me (presented beautifully) and a large container of cleaner specifically for my ring. I asked Lauren if they were able design a wedding ring for me and she said that they do have the ability to do so! I'm ecstatic!

In the end we were both very happy with the purchase of rings. Although it didn’t go as smoothly as anticipated. Our first gem was sold just before we went to buy it. We believed that it was on hold. The Summary:They made the perfect engagement ring. Lauren exceeded every expectation and made me feel like her only client during three in-person visits and 177 emails to help me flesh out my design idea. TNSC produced an extremely intricate design and created an absolutely stunning work of art! I'm a customer for life and couldn't be happier.The Search:I found TNSC via Google when looking for a jeweler to create a sapphire engagement ring. I'd visited many sites and seen multiple photos, but the amount of detail on each stone and amazing reviews won me over immediately. However, just by chance I ended up having to travel to NYC for several weeks later and requested a consultation while I was there. I was lucky enough to meet Lauren on my first visit, who was absolutely amazing throughout the whole process. The Visit: Their office has a warm, welcoming and charmingly friendly vibe with absolutely zero sales pressure, but Lauren really stole the show. I could immediately tell that Lauren had a passion for helping clients find the perfect sapphire. However, she also has a background in design and her artistic talent, creative vision and excitement to help me create a great setting were absolutely priceless. Even though Lauren stated that I could purchase a loose sapphire without obligation to design a setting through TNSC, I knew by the second visit that no one would be able to translate my vision into reality they way she could.The Sapphire:I was looking for a specific size, shape and color gem. Lauren went out of her way to coordinate the shipment of many stones with my travel schedule so we could evaluate them in person. She went through painstaking detail of each stone and why it did or did not fit my requirements. Over the course of three visits she helped me narrow down my choices to several gems that fit my requirements and budget. By the end of the third visit I had purchased a beautiful sapphire The Setting:Also, by the end of the third visit Lauren had created a rough drawing of the vision I had for a setting. I wanted something very detailed and extremely specific that I coudn't find anywhere online or in person, which is saying something considering I walked through the jewelry district twice a day for several weeks while working in NYC! Lauren had her team create amazing graphic and 3D renderings for quite a few main design concepts and numerous design changes over the course of seven months and 177 emails while we worked through what I wanted, didn't want and incorporated new ideas. Even though I was 2,000 miles away, each time we talked it felt like I was right there. Sometimes we talked several times a week and at other times I reached out every few weeks. She never made me feel rushed or pressured.The Final Design:It took about a month from the time I gave the go-ahead on the setting to get the ring and the finished product absolutely blew me away. Even though the 3D models and renderings looked wonderful, their capability to produce a platinum, sapphire and diamond ring to such exacting detail is unheard of. The box the ring comes in is amazing by itself and the extremely detailed paperwork that came with it really wowed me. My expectations have been far surpassed and the entire process was handled with such precision, dedication and commitment. This is the first time I've been a client or customer and I can't think of a single area for improvement. TNSC and Lauren know the business and have perfected both the in-person and remote purchase and design experience. I'm a customer for life!
