  I was pleased with both the cost and speed of the preparation of my US Tax return (and also filing for the extension). I had the return reviewed by a different professional as part of a larger financial planning service and they only found one error, which was probably my mistake, and it didn't impact the total amount of taxes due anyway. So all in all, I'm very pleased with this service and would recommend it to others.

  I have used them for 2 years in a row as well as with help filing back tax returns. They were very efficient. I also like that you only have to fill out the detailed information form one time. Then you just review and update it for the following years.

  Every year, Taxes for Expats takes the stress away from filing taxes. Their expertise in complicated tax situations including foreign income, being an expat, married buy filing jointly with a non-citizen, etc. is unparalleled. They always respond quickly and think there is no such thing as a dumb question. Their website/portal could not be easier to use. I've had the same TFE tax preparer for several years now and she's just great. Highly recommend this company!

  I've used Taxes for Expats for several years. I've always been impressed with their ongoing communications and response time. They've been extremely helpful answering questions and navigating me through the process. Prior to finding Taxes for Expats, I received conflicting information from a number of different sources and their fee structures were overly complicated. This is NOT the case with Taxes for Expats! They are transparent with their fees - if you are ever concerned with how much something could potentially cost, they are more than happy to discuss pricing. Grateful to come across them!

  Taxes For Expats has taken a complex, intimidating process and simplified it for me. Their questionnaire streamlines the process, and their tax preparers have always been great about answering any questions I had as well as guiding me through the process. Since first using them in 2017, I have returned every year. I won't use anyone else.

  Just the fact that this is my 4th year using TFX speaks to the confidence I have in the company. Their service is fast, reliable, accurate, and reasonably priced.   TFX are absolutely awesome! They make filing my taxes very easy. I was nervous about filing taxes once we became expats, but you just follow the prompts, scan and upload requested documents and you're done! Their referral bonus program is great.   TFX did an amazing job on my very complicated taxes. We moved from the US (California) to NZ and then back to the US again (Georgia). TFX has helped me file in two countries and two different US states. They have gracefully dealt with a variety of complicated tax situations, from having a nanny as a household employee, buying and selling of properties, rental properties, and exercise and sale of stock options.

  The very first time I used Taxes for Expats, I was audited. It was the government's mistake, but I was so relieved that TFX handled all of it. I did not have to fret or worry about anything or go into more legal paperwork. I was relieved and they fixed everything. That was 10 years ago and I still use them to this day!

  TFX offers first class tax filing service for expats. None of the other online services were able to handle Foreign Tax credits properly, but TFX did so very efficiently which resulted in an enhanced refund. Not only is their FTC service unbeatable, but the rest of the filing process is done very methodically with simple attention to detail. You are walked through the whole process by a hands-on assistant who gathers your information and prepares your return, always assuring along the way that everything is complete and in order. Very helpful. I would readily recommend TFX for any expat wanting to have the best possible assisted tax filing experience.

  I have used Taxes for Expats for 2 years now and I am extremely satisfied with their services. They make the process easy by asking easy to understand (and answer) questions that helps set up the tax return. Then, submit your official paystubs and you're done. While I did not have any verbal communication with the staff, I corresponded via email regularly and this was sufficient in my case. The staff I've worked with have been extremely nice, helpful and quick.

  Fast, easy, convenient but a little bit expensive. However, compared to other sites, it was slightly cheaper. They answered all my questions and I love that they made everything really easy to follow and understand. Paying taxes was painless.
