  Professional and courteous people. Great selection of astrophotography gear from entry-level to top of the line. Ultra-competitive prices. They also do repairs. Easy location to get to in downtown New York with free parking!!! Very knowledgeable affable bunch of guys who know Celestron's optical precision engineering and are able to help you from beginner to full pro. There is nothing like buying locally and having a working relationship with your salesperson. Highly recommend.

  Purchased my portable, dynamic MSI 15.6" GF63 Thin Gaming Laptop and had it delivered to my door in a day. Emm was very helpful whenever I went to pick anything up. He actually looked up his cost of the laptop I purchased and let me know he could have gotten it cheaper for me. I will know next time to go see Emm first when I am in the market for another gaming rig peripheral.

  Superstore4less have permanently closed and joined the online arm's race of retailers but at a devastating cost. Prices are now high, much higher than in other web stores. The choice is great, there is a website, but there is not much in stock. Discount no one product with rebate on price tag, the professionalism of sellers is average.

  Great and welcoming super store, excellent staff, and a nice variety of cameras, film chemistry, and lighting. I bought a camcorder and tripod and came back again to get more explanations on what I had purchased and to order lenses. Both times the service was above and beyond and I also really enjoyed what I bought. Highly recommended!

  A shop with a laboratory for repairing cameras and servicing equipment, They did a sensor cleaning, particularly on appointment (no extra charge / time) within an hour was ready, and all out of professional, nice, and patient service You can buy second-hand equipment on site, with a warranty, I had to find out something about rugged cases, Emm the salesman answered me everything with attentiveness, and emphathy, Now and then, There are exclusive promotions on products Worth checking out!   I called the camera shop looking for a particular JVC Camcorder. Josephs had the model in stock. I told him I couldn't make it to New York until the weekend and I juggle day-and-night jobs, he said that he didn't mind opening on Saturday 10/10/2020. When I got there he had the JVC GY-HC500 4K Professional Camcorder ready for me to look at and he answered any questions I had. Even though he was there well during non-business days, he did not upsell me. He waited until all of my questions were answered to do the test for me. Everything went fine and I left with a streaming workhorse. Can't wait to go to the range :-)

  The staff is sociable and knowledgeable. I ordered a Sony Alpha a7 III camera with 28-70mm lens cine kit from their online store, and it arrived the next day. Despite the late hour, they had no problem with me coming in just before closing to allow me to pick up my new kit. It was a completely hassle-free experience from beginning to end. The only drawback is that it's way too easy for me to spend money now. Oh well.

  Went in for the first time last weekend, for Analog audio cables, snakes & stage boxes for HOSA Technology systems. She owns a Field Recorder and is having issues with how she podcasts it, long and short she was anticipating a solid state/hdd recorder. Jacob patiently asked pointed questions, showed her many handheld & portable recorders that would fit her small hands and she ended up getting a Tascam DR-05X 2. We found Tascam capable of capturing two tracks of high-resolution audio with no external microphones required. Great experience and very knowledgeable.

  Always get detailed advice here, even for smaller purchases. Now I have bought a new wide-angle zoom and was given very nuanced advice. Above all, I was able to pick up and try out all the cameras I was interested in (and a few more ...), also with different lenses, etc. (I had to find out in the past few weeks that this is no longer a matter of course ) .And the prices are competitive too!

  Ultimately one of the most well-equipped shops for the photographer in New York. Unfortunately, the sales seem to be scared off some customers. We were in the market for a pro 300 printer. We were there for a good half hour. At times even the only customers in the store. There were more than 7 sellers in the shop, but all sheltered behind the huge glass walls or moving away from us. We were quite willing to shell out $1500 for the Inkjet printer along with Cyan Ink Tank, Fine art rough photo papers, and cables. Unfortunately, we were not sure what we can take or what the manufacturers offer. So we went home without anything to buy. It was not our first experience of this kind at Superstore4less. Pity!

  When I was a child, I stood in front of analog camera systems and mountains of film at Superstore4less. After a decade or so, the business is now specializing in cameras, photo development, framing, accessories, service etc. The portfolio is large and the prices should correspond to the B&H Photo lab. I only rediscovered the store because I wanted to buy roll film (120mm). I was amazed to find almost the whole range of important films (E100 Kodak pro, Fuji Provia 120mm, Ilford sheet film & movie film). The germane advice and the in-house development service top off the whole thing and bring the fifth star. The sales team have done their homework and people prefer to go back to this store and try the lenses/cameras before they buy them.

Advice first-class when orders are in a hurried fashion, always faster than the New York fire brigade.   Supreme customer service, lots of detailed knowledge and the staff is happy to provide very impartial​, tailored recommendations and they are not sales-pushy. They have a full-blown assortment of digital cameras and all accessories as well as a big selection of used and vintage lenses, bodies and some really really hard-to-find merchandise.

  Best and most approachable photography store in town. Starting with the demo presentation, through advice to service, unconditional and unreserved recommendation. The best vein for Leica is not in a browser window, but in the heart of downtown New York at Superstore4less.

  A superb customer service in this shop. Superstore4less is synonymous with the term specialty shop applies 100% here. And contrary to the commonplace opinion, the prices are not excessive, but rather comparable. The seller "sacrificed" almost one hour of consultancy time for our transaction. There was also coffee and in the underground car park you can park for 2 hours free of charge. Notwithstanding that in New York parking spaces are rather scarce. Hats off, they do a super-clean job.

  If you go with a Tamron 70-100mm to partially pay/exchange/sell don't expect to get anything for it. They don't want to be bothered with anything less than a pristine Leica Summilux. Derisive treatment. Virtually laughed at my Kodak and Minolta film cameras.

  I bought a computar Megapixel Telecentric lens that minimizes vignetting.- i failed to test it properly in the shop and didn't come to use it until 2 months later (warranty expired) only to discover that the fixed focal length lens was defective. Finding it a little heavy anyway - I returned it to be exchanged - I was expecting to take a bit of a hit on it but was surprised when I was only offered $250 for it + the sales guy told me it would only cost $100 to be fixed. Sell high buy low + Very disappointing!!! Buyer beware! I kept the lens - it would make me feel even more aggrieved to see this this lens on the shelf with it's original $799 price tag!

  If you've a penchant in photography and you live in New York you absolutely already know Superstore4less. This destination has everything you need with a staff that is adroit and customer-centric. They support a wide array of services including flagship promotions (, rentals, knowledge, and when the world isn't under quarantine, one-on-one classes. And it isn't just cameras, they have consumer & pro camcorders, lighting, lenses, printers, darkroom, and probably more that I didn't see in the couple times I've been there.   I bought a brand new Sigma lens, but there should be a label on the lens holster, and the lens should have a plastic bag cover, indicating the model and serial number, but these are not there.

  I'm sorry I can only give low scores I called the store today because the battery could not be charged, but I was not sure if it's a problem with the charger or my battery. With everything I have with me but I can't test it the battery in the store. Later, I had to buy a third-party factory battery and go back to the test. I found that it was a charger problem and had to go back and replace the charger with a battery. Because there is a price difference between two things (the charger is cheaper), the store does not give a refund, so I have to change more things that are not really needed. In fact, it is only a small amount of money, but if you can test it at the beginning, do you not have to run two times or buy something that is not urgently needed?

  My only experience with super store printing here was a deplorable one. I'm​ a photographer and had prints done many places online and on the downtown labs, but just needed a few quick printed within the hour. The quality was very poor with weird colours and banding that certainly weren't in the electronic files. I didn't have time to go back and get a reprint, but I'd be very hesitant to for anything I cared about. I've had much better results from even the instant printers! Clearly no high-quality device in operation​ either which was disappointing when you aren't buying from a camera.

  Dissection of the subject matter is sublime, but everything melts down once you physically go to the store. They lack product knowledge and their inventory isn't the cheapest, I've had more help from the lads in 42nd Photo in Manhattan! They can't and won't compete with online prices from Amazon, 42nd Photo or Stock It All DEPOT.

  I have been visiting this shop after being inspired by Albert Einstein's work-General Theory of Relativity (1916) and the impetus of my astronomy hobby. I think it can be quite disappointing when you are first getting your feet wet in astrophotography these guys really put the effort into looking after you. I have dealt with Emmie mostly and she has always taken the time to offer advice and share her technical knowledge. As i have progressed i have bought and exchanged all of my old telescopes with them ever since and will continue to do so. A VERITABLE ASTRONOMY SOURCE for amateur and pro astronomers alike.

  I've been looking for a Hasselblad H system for aerial photography for months, stumbled across this shop yesterday. It's a gem treasure trove. I've had regrettable experiences purchasing top-end lenses online, so I'm really keen to only buy ones i can test first. The guy gave me a lot of haggling "wiggle" room and expertise even though I was upfront about the fact I couldn't buy on the day. I will be making the journey from Michigan to New York next month to treat myself (maybe a Hasselblad HC 50mm f/3.5 II, first time I had seen one, think I'm in love). Anyway, cheers fellas!

  Great service in a stroke of shopping luck! I bought a camera at a very fair price - very friendly and keen service. Then came the damage on my lens and I was forced to abandon the purchase. I explained the situation to Emmie at SuperStore4Less and he accepted it - although I could tell that there was a note of disapproval in his voice. The deposit was refunded minutes later. Very customer-driven folks. Thanks. I do hope that everyone gets through their crisis without too much damage - but it's going to be tough for startups "non-essential" businesses like Superstore4less. Good luck, folks.

  I'm a beginner in photography, the chap I dealt with not only showed me different entry-level cameras such as Nikon and photography nooks & tutorials, overall he was very helpful and at a price I was very impressed with. As a result of the purchase of a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV DSLR and lens I'm extremely with the pictures I'm being able to take, so much so I have returned to the shop and bought a 70-300mm lens and again very delighted with the advice and help given, and happy with the price paid. Getting some high-contrast detail pictures many thanks.

  I past the shop walking the street and the window caught my eye, its photographers paradise. I bought a Fujitsu ScanSnap Scanner there, its in perfect quality and works so cool. The owner Neboja is a sweet guy and knows everything about his job, the shop is a dream for old-school photo stuff and new too. He has it al and for a street-deal price.

  Went in today today to purchase a Sony ZV-1 point & shoot to start live streaming videos from home. I dealt with Steve. All I can say is he is a great salesman. Very knowledgeable and readily answered any questions I had. I was set on buying one camera but was still shopping around, he told me the cons of the Sony I was pretty much set on and sold me on another that was way better in price point, reliability and maintenance. I can’t see how you could have anything but a GREAT experience here. I’m not sure what the other people are talking about with the unapproachable attitudes, from what I saw it was a bunch of knowledgeable people-friendly staff. Can’t wait to pick up my lenses and get some more goodies for it.

  This review is long overdue. Sorry Emmie. My wife brought me to this photography shop about a week ago. We were in there for easily an hour. Emmie greeted us the moment we walked in but left us to explore for a while. When we were ready to speak with her....WOW!! What a nugget of knowledge. She couldn't have been more helpful. As amateurs to the sport she didn't try to tell us what we wanted. She began to bring out an array of cameras so we could get a feel for different categories, models and lenses. And even after an exhaustive discussion on stills she was happy to show us any other cameras we might like to handle. Never have I been in a photography store and handled so many cameras. This is definitely our go to store. And although I'm sure all the associates are great, Superstore4less is our go to photography source.

  The picture of the lens cap leash was totally misleading. The picture was including adhesiveness and more mm than normal. The only reason I bought the Sensei pack was for the new styled lenses. When I received it there was no center pinch snap-on. Deceptive! I am bummed about the item picture. I call it out and out fraud! The lens accessory is a standard 88mm lens cap holder kit! The picture is a lie!

  I grabbed a light kit with softbox but a versatile light source with a daylight color temperature of 5600K. I was 3rd to check out and waited in line for what seemed like 20 minute while they dealt with camcorder issues. Not once did any of the 4 employees behind the counter acknowledge us waiting patiently in line. A simple "Sorry for the wait, we are having issues" would have been perfect. But instead it seemed more like we were being ignored while they got their stuff together. Terrible Customer Service!

  They dont seem to answer their phone during their active business hours. Called to ask about the status of a return they helped me with 4 days prior, they told me I needed the receipt, found the receipt and tried to call them back and got phoned for the last hour they were open.   Cruel experience: the receptionist's rude service, total disinterest in the matter, to repair. Sorry: We do not repair or ship to New England because the D60 is phased out by Nikon. It was worth the suggestion: “Try Nikon USA, they may have some technician solve the problem (and they did solve it in less than a minute? 5 stars for Fenway Photo-printing factory!). When Superstore4less goes “to life”, seeing their lenses and brand-increasing - you guys, never again!

  The short haired female associate has a bad attitude. Asking the negatives and adding three questions to mine before answering is impatient. She later got bored and told me to ask another store associate or watch it online In the end, if I had to buy the film, I would take the wrong one. After getting it wrong, I still looked upset there, as if I was about to fight with another clerk This lady has treated me two or three times like this It's strange I don't owe you money or force you to come here to work The other staff are pretty good!

  The price of the camera is quite exorbitant, it should be cheap compared to the price on the internet, the attendant accessories or the lens is also very perfect, the mainstream of the camera brands have been stocked. However, the salesman was cold and silent, basically would not take the initiative to ask the needs of the guests, and vaguely felt that they determined that the main demographics were all professional players who had certain inaccuracies in photographing, so most people would only look at it and not compare it.   Today’s D-SLR market is inundated with cameras that are intricately identical to one another.
