  With all the history surrounding it, this place really is a step back in time. To a time where storekeepers loved their job and reflected it in how they treated their store and their customers. Let's start with the store. Bright &vibrant. Polished floor, beautiful wooden cabinets, not a fingerprint on the glass, not a speck of dust on the products or shelves. I can't speak highly enough about the products on the shelf- from the latest to the equipment your grandfather may have cherished. You won't be disappointed by a visit to this great store. Knowledgeable staff, great gear and friendly service all go together to make it the place to shop for all your photography and optical needs.

  Phoned beforehand and made an appointment! Wanted to come with my Mamiya Leaf medium-format camera with lenses, gimbal system and accessories! With the trade-ins and the whole conveyance I was more than satisfied! Thomas took a lot of time for me and I got a very handsome price! Then bought a mirrorless EOS M camera!   A very good store for cameras and professional video selection. The sellers really have a lot of idea and help off the bat. They have advised me very well in the field of commercial & multi-purpose cameras. The prices are quite reasonable. You can find a lot of products and brands to choose from, be it RED cameras, lenses or the like.

  Super Store 4 Less sets the ultimate benchmark in the minds of many American birders, for unparalleled good service and variety. Some items are cheaper elsewhere but many more are found absolutely nowhere else. Heaps of rarer spotting scopes like Leica too.

  Very good service. The person that helped me was really knowledgeable, and assisted us to choose the Hitachi Z-HD5000 HDTV for what our production firm needed.   I wanted to buy a telescope and found Superstore4less online. The site was clear and I therefore ordered my telescope from Superstore4less.   This has become my go-to camera shop. Ive just started shooting Nikon and it was good to come into a store where you're not made to feel stupid. The guy who set up my first full-frame photography-Nikon F Z5, Jacob I think his name was?? was very helpful. So far no bad experiences.

  It's absolutely breathtaking to visit this shop. In the shop there are all kinds of cameras and accessories, as well as a whole range of film. I was there to have a couple of rolls developed and was directed immediately to the right department. I was there on Monday, the pictures were ready on Tuesday and the price was extremely competitive. Very friendly and relevant advice.

  I recently purchased a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 vii that was packaged and completely set up by the very knowledgeable Thomas. Was looking for something I could take hiking with me but still get nice photos and have been very happy with this. Easily fits in the pocket of my bag and can use as a quick point and shoot but also has full manual options and mix of exciting extras. I'm still trying to figure out all the things the camera can do. There was a small issue with charging for the item that was rectified over the phone and fixed up the next time I went in with a decent discount on a handheld gimbal.   Terrible place, they never run out of stuff for me to buy!   What a great photography store! Every person I've spoken to at this place is really helpful. They are one of the few stores which stock hard to find items and their prices are always good. Chris helped me out with a bundle of Sunpak video lights & accessories for a camcorder when no store in New York could. In future I will purchase all of my gear over the phone through these guys. I wish I lived a bit closer!

  Good prices and advise as well, but do not want you to go to return a product without brand it being new, or taken out of the box, because they do not swap it it for another and give you back the money but less. At least that was my experience. Businesses that do not adapt to current times.

  The attention to the client and advice is very good, they will not sell you to make a quick buck but according to your needs and level of experience in topics related to photography. they sell you what best suits your needs. Another very important thing to keep in mind is that they offer photography courses for different levels of mastery and these courses are also offered at fairly good prices. They take you to very beautiful places to practice and take spectacular photographs, and the good thing about these courses is that you meet people with the same hobby as you. In short, it is a magnificent store for photography lovers. To anyone who wants to upgrade, revolutionize or plunge in the world of photography I recommend visiting the store. They also have a webshop for Ecommerce to any part of the world. The website they have is not very smooth. They could improve it.

  Place to buy all kinds of photographic supplies, accessories, hard-to-find items etc. They have a great variety of brands, some more known than others such as Mamiya Leaf. Rich source to buy all kinds of cameras for both professionals and beginners. Prices are quite competitive, of course there are things that you can find a little cheaper elsewhere, especially in some of the large stores, but the quality, guarantee and customer support you receive in this store makes you buy from even if it is a little more expensive than in another store. They are good connoisseurs of new cameras in the market, notably the handpicked and thoroughly trained crop of employees. One of the things I also like is that they inform and steer you based on your needs.

This is a shop where all the top professionals go, including Bruce Hyatt, whose studio is a stone's throw walk away.   Excellent treatment, I asked them for a potential third-party lens for my Nikon and in two days I had it at home (Colorado), if you write them an email they respond in less than 24 hours, Shop allows you to pay in installments and without commissions, the truth is that next lenses that I buy I will not hesitate to have them.   Went to the Superstore4less at their NY store today (27 Oct. 2020). The team there were excellent and happy to discuss any photography related matter and offer advice.   After several hours spent going over EOS SLR, M &RF mirrorless lenses and what was the best option for me (trying out many in the process) I cannot recommend the store highly enough. Zero pressure to buy anything, just knowledgeable staff who will give you an exhaustive responses to pretty much any question you can throw at them. When spending a lot on a camera, this kind of service and expertise is invaluable and nowhere comes close.

  A huge choice of cameras and lenses with different types of brands to shoot. Small enough area to walk around without becoming exhausted but well spaced so it does not feel cramped. I visited with two friends who are much more experienced so the day was fun rather than competitive. The main building has a very nice cafe and seating area plus camera shop, photographic supplies and accessories with expert advice and help available plus free training for absolute beginners.

  Ordered 7 day through webshop to collect in store, it's cheaper than buying in the shop. Received no correspondence beyond initial confirmation email after 9 days, so went into physical store for an update. They didnt appear to have any data of my transaction. The webshop sent the photos to print in store. This took some time and several attempts due to mechanical flaws with one of the printers, but at least they was interest in providing a quality product. If I was to purchase photos from here again, I'd go for the home delivery option, as from what I could gather, the issue was that the initial communication from central office was not picked up by local store. No apology given, and assistant had the fortitude to question the price quoted in the original email quote that I showed her.

They didn't know much about the product at all, couldn't give me much information about my existing Leica gear either, but they did offer advice that turned out to be wrong when I checked the user manual.   Horrible customer service, high prices from the market with less warranty, I was in the shop for almost an hour and at that time only customers came with complaints, and the manager's approach was disparaging, so a pity that they were my favorite store once, today I am not their customer anymore!

  Undoubtedly the most unprofessional camera store in the country, also a bit greedy for money. I called to find out about the Fujifilm XF 10 - there is no gold color as I insisted, not willing to give an estimate on the phone without a test, at the entrance the seller announces that they do not give more than 30% of its value (before testing). Too bad to lure a customer to the store just to disappoint.

  Called in asking about Sigma 17-50mm f2.8 lens for Sony A. The helpful staff checked availability throughout their stores and requested one be brought over from another online store. Went back a week later to pick it up and after trying the lens out on my camera I received lots of helpful information about my new purchase as well as macro photography courses run by the store and other resourceful tools and courses I might find of interest. Because the staff are so thorough and helpful sometimes you can be waiting a short while to be served but it's definitely well worth the wait! :)

  Very helpful staff. However, scarcity in stock that they did not have in stock a greater range of 'riflescopes' than the most Swarovski expensive ones. Would have liked to have bought from them to support local shops. Bought off the internet the same afternoon. 🤔

  I'm a vacationer, I'd already decided which point & shoot camera I was going to buy (Olympus TG-6-crushproof &water-resistant) and Superstore4Less had the best deal. I visited the NYC showroom on Saturday morning and was served by Thomas, in a very thorough and professional manner. The camera was in stock but Thomas explained that, due to the success of the promotion underway, they'd run out of the Olympus CLA-T01 conversion lens adapter. No matter - Thomas placed one on order and arranged for it to be delivered to my home. He also made sure I had the info sheet explaining how the Olympus cashback deal worked. Overall, a very satisfactory instore experience. This kind of service is the reason I much prefer to make purchases of this type in person, rather than online.

Only hesitantly my request was granted in an unfriendly tone of voice. However, I did not get any reimbursement, just a "voucher" in the form of a handwritten note.   The purchased camera body does not work as it should and instead of that you have to counter one must also pursue 10% of the purchase price (usually allegedly even 20%) because there is no full refund.   I have experienced here, average to bad services. Advertising by Superstore4less about the delivery time are not complied with, emails are not answered and phone commitments are not honored. In addition, the prices in the online shop are usually more expensive than the competitors. All in all, I will probably order in the future with the competition!

  Their poor communication in online purchases with planned collection of Tamron 70-180mm f2.8 from their New York shop wreaked havoc in my schedule. Lens was in stock with 1 piece which I then ordered as a guest. After the payment I was only sent an order confirmation by email. When I asked about the state of affairs today (5 days after ordering), I was informed that the lens would have a delivery time of approx. 14 days because it had to be ordered for me first. There was no information to me that this delay would occur. That someone else should have bought the lens at the same time as the lady said on the phone, I think it's a bit too big a coincidence! For the next job I unfortunately have to rent another lens, which I could have eschewed. - very annoying that Superstore4less has thrown me under the bus here!

  As a first time buyer, I would like to know a) how it is possible to write self-criticism with 5 stars with different profiles advertising yourself (because the good reviews here are advertising), and b) to block those who put bad reviews that justify them and not just a star without comments. I wish the people knew the truth and not the "facts" that the real consumer presents, I see they're characterized by false criticism and deletion of the other side that rings the bell for who the shopkeeper really is. There is a missing link here and there is something rotten in the kingdom of online photography...

  A Leica optics source and you can find Leica riflescopes, red dot sights and thermal imaging, even for enthusiasts like me and of course for shooting masterly level. The service and attitude in the shop is worth everything.   Splendid store and great staff !! Always receive with a smile and give the most professional service there is! Even when I was not sure what I needed, they knew how to tinker with everything exactly to my needs. And the largest selection there is of tech electronics!!   On Thursday (10.08.20) I bought the Sigma dp3 Quattro camera with Viewfinder-a genius kit and I marveled at the extraordinary courtesy of the employees of the place, including Thomas. There was some gridlock with the paying bank as it snowed under a lot of time in traffic in the store and the employees expressed their understanding and kindness and made the most Help me to fix the same problem. I needed the camera for the hour after work and at Long Island to help me with something that wasn't up to them. Good service is an experience that in New York is very difficult to get these days, most businesses are not service-oriented and are mainly looking for how to make money and less how to earn the customer himself, Superstore4less earned me a big way and come back to buy the very near future there.

However, the advice also fails on the second visit, either you wait 30min for someone to take your time and when someone wags the checkout bills you are left standing.   We purchased a Hasselblad H6D through their website and when my partner came to pick it up he was given horrible and rude service by a bald-headed guy who literally yelled at him, for no reason. The next day it became clear to me that I had made a mistake in the order and I arrived at the place to replace it. A salesman named Thomas kindly and pleasantly helped us. I bought a camera for $7,900 and he offered me cheaper and even second-hand alternatives. Explained to us all the options and did not push us to the most expensive option. The store has added value. Not always, but in most cases.

  The dreamland for all photographers, professionals, semi and amateurs. The variety of optical pieces of technology is huge. They are patient and have a solution for any question or issue you will challenge them. They are organizing lectures with top professionals. Some of then are free of charge. They also organize workshops on various topics. Only repellent element is their web site, which, is not always up to date whether specific items are available at the store. It is better to call them before coming.
