  I have been a customer at Superstore4less now for a few years now, and I can honestly say that it is the best store I have ever been in! I don't mean that based on the actual dimensions or the products showcased, as certainly there are larger stores with more eye candy. What I mean is that they have the friendliest, most knowledgeable, and attentive staff I have ever experienced...period. Everyone there knows you by name, and it seems I meet someone new almost every time I'm there. They foster a very communal environment, that lends itself well to many excellent conversations. Often times with people I've just met! Great people, great selection, and to top it off, great prices! You can't go wrong.

  Staff are knowledgeable and passionate about the art of photography! My salesperson Emm took the time to show and explain all the pros and cons of the different products I was interested in and helped me make a decision that I have not regretted one scintilla! Prices are good and they have great sales so be sure to get on their email list! I ended up finding a Sony ZV-1 for $800 less than any shop in the NYC! IT IS WORTH THE DRIVE TO NEW YORK !!!

  The first time we walked in the door Matt immediately said hi guys what can I do for you. At this point we were looking at digital cine equipment. Matt was exceedingly knowledgeable in ensuring we purchased exactly what we needed. He even went so far as to point out that we did not really need the most expensive camera available for what we were using it for. We spent approximately half of what we expected. Matt is also a great photography instructor and teaches any course people need to take. His knowledge is always very helpful and insightful.

  Matt is always friendly and helpful and certainly knows everything there is to know about photography. Emm is an amazing photographers who goes out of his way to ensure any and all adjustments are more than 100% perfect. He also can tell you anything you need to know about a specific camera. Then there's Charlotte. She is just as knowledgeable as any of the guys when it comes to anything in the store. Always ready and willing to chat about anything. Highly recommend Superstore4less for all your outdoor needs.

  If your looking for a specific camera, or that specialized piece of gear for you or your business, this is the place to shop. There is nothing online that can beat a face to face discussion with their staff. There are those that will always say you might get it cheaper elsewhere, but when you factor in the expertise they provide and the knowledge you walk away with Superstore4less is competitive and the place for all experienced wedding photographers and hobbyists to shop.

  Superstore4less is one of the gems of our galaxy city. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and always puts the customer first, even if that means suggesting you visit another retailer. In this day of big box stores, where taking a number or doing more combing for a sales person than one would do during holiday season, it is wonderful to find a place so dedicated in meeting the sporting person's needs.

  Guys, it's a camera shop not a pack of peanuts. Of course they can't take it back and then re-sell it as new to another customer. They have always been good to me. Buy without hesitation.

  Been a customer for a number of years. When I walk in they know my name which is a nice feeling that you don't experience often in most businesses these days. Staff are knowledgeable and straight to the point. Seem to get genuinely excited about some of the items they have. Matt the manager is a crack photographer and has helped me out on a lot of stuff. Going to be moving soon but this will still be my primary camera store just based on the experience I have had so far.

  I had visited Superstore4less once to buy film. I returned yesterday. They remembered my name and exactly which items I have purchased. The owner is amazing. He has been so nice to us both each time we come in and takes the time to answer all of my questions and explains the differences between each product. We have never felt pressured to buy anything and they don't try to up-sell you on more expensive items. Their rental lenses are great too :) Highly recommend this camera shop

  My husband and I are very very new to astrophotography and when we were ready to make our first purchase, we came to Superstore4less. We were a bit nervous and feeling overwhelmed with all of the selection they have there but one of their staff quickly helped us relax by showing us a bunch of telescopes and explaining everything we needed to know about each of them. He was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and helped us pick the right ones for each of our astronomical needs and night-gazing. He also helped us get everything else we would need to get started in the astronomy world and was very patient and attentive to all of our questions. We have been back several times since and have always been greeted warmly.

  Amazing store! Amazing staff! Great selection! The staff at this store are well knowledgeable in aerial imaging and state aerial vehicle laws. I personally recommended a guy named Matt, he made me feel extremely comfortable when I had no experience or knowledge of any drone. He helped me set up the tools and shared tips for my first purchase plus he also helped me with some areas in which i can become a NYC/NJ Chapter Drone User Group Network member. Thanks to the crew at Superstore4less, All of my camera purchases are through this store and this store only. Note: their prices are very fair and competitive.

  You won't find a better price on a new or probably even a used lens in any other store around here. They tend to give a little more for trade-ins than other shops. My new Lumix DC-GH5 was $75 cheaper than 42nd Photo or B&H and about $150 cheaper than Amazon.

  Amazing Service from Matt and Emm. My father passed away and I was left with many of his vintage and film cameras. They were very quick to help and answer all my questions. Set up a meeting to print decades-old film photos and was helped right away. Superstore4less has gone over and beyond my expectations and would recommend them to anyone looking for more info on acquiring new cameras. Big thanks for the help

  First time purchasing from this store. Their website is up to date, great selection and on line purchasing is fantastic. Prices were the best around, and FREE shipping with my purchase. They called to confirm everything, were very helpful, definitely first class service & delivery was extremely fast. I even found an extra Nikon cap in my box because they found out it was my birthday! Will definitely be purchasing from Superstore4less again!

  Great store. Great staff. If you live in New York and own Leica, buy your cameras or lenses stuff from these guys. They always have bulk accessories and they have all the cool stuff you see online. I bought my Leica Q2 there and BP-SCL4 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack. Keep it local and stay away from these other big chain camera shops in the heart of New York.

  Great service and great staff. Ordered online and shipping was fast, no problems with receiving it. The camera itself (EOS 5D Mark IV ) had a small issue with the image processor engine being inaccurately threaded from factory. I emailed Superstore4less and got the issue resolved within the next day, Went to the store to get the Canon inspected and exchange it without any issue's, was in and out the store with a new replacement within 20 min. Great work!

  Superstore4less doesn't just deserve your support because it's the last professional photography source in New York. The place also has a large selection of products and competitive pricing. Try finding a Delta 1 TRP The Sink II Darkroom Sink for 3x 16 x 20" Trays elsewhere in the city. Whether you shop in-person or pick up your online orders, there's adequate parking and I've always been greeted when I enter. The exchange policy is reasonable. (I once picked up the wrong darkroom setup.) My only flipside is that the store is nestled in the city and no where close to the highways. That's a personal issue though -- I would come back when passing by. ;)

  In the past 2 months i have purchased many different cameras and lenses from a few online retailers. My experience with Superstore4less was by far the best. I have purchased 2 cameras, and some film from them and the speed at which everything was fast-tracked with incessant updates and shipped was awesome.   The folks at Superstore4less are great. I had an issue with the post, an item was sent to the incorrect address.   Only heard amazing things about the shipping and customer service here so i wanted to try them out. Bought an item online a few weeks ago and it took the store 3.5 business days (well very end of that day) to email me to confirm my shipping address even though it was provided in the order. Item was shipped on the 4th business day after paying with no tracking info or confirmation provided. Was going to give 2 stars but prior to purchase, i emailed a question which they responded to on their only posted closed day so kudos.

They're like the Amazon of photography goods. The website seems to reflect actual inventory.   So far very satisfied, went twice and ordered a camera to take next week. More than a little bit better than another famous fellow camera shop. The main reason for looking for a dedicated photo shop to buy an expensive Leica camera is because the convenience of communication physical examination of goods and product comparison. This family-operated place has a price match policy. Why not find a comfortable place to buy the same price. Several front desk services are very good, I hope to have this service to get well-equipped.

  I’ve had 3 cameras transactions with Superstore4Less including a Hasselblad 907X Special Edition Mirrorless Camera. I find them to be friendly, almost always knowledgeable in their recommendations, and their prices reasonable especially in the camera department. Camera prices are about on par with the competition. I know Super Store puts lays the screws to them for having the gall to operate in the first place, so pricing is what it is. I will keep going back, no reason not to as they are convenient for me to frequent on my breaks from work. The service at Super Store for Less is so much better here than B&H down the block, which I honestly find to be useless as well as overpriced.

  What a refreshing experience? Awesome shop with a very large selection of Nikon, Fujifilm, Leica, Panasonic, Sony and Canon. Surprisingly this small shop packing a lot of stuff. You can find everything for DIY cleaning and maintenance of cameras/sensors/ eyepieces. People who know what they are talking about, interested in making sure that the best match and "fit" is made between the equipment and the person. Maybe some other retail outlets and stores could take a lesson from the Superstore4less! Good job.

  The Superstore4less team are very good at what they do. If you are there to sell a camera or purchase one you will feel comfortable and not pressured at all. If you've ever been to B&H counter at any time, you will be all too familiar with the deep sighs and condescending comments when buying a camera if you have any questions. Superstore4less won't sell you the gear unless you are 100% comfortable. They offer training, camera maintenance/smithing services, 101 basic training and cleaning toolkit too. A first-class act all the way.

  This is the best optics shop in sprawling NY, hands down. The staff here is extremely knowledgeable and they are willing to help you out with any questions you may have; They truly want you to be informed about your purchase, or potential purchase and do not pressure you. Support your local businesses and give these guys a holler if you’re in the market for a Celestron or Bushnell, whether it be new or used.

  I am a first time surveillance camera buyer and had a lot of questions. The staff was patient and knowledgeable and never made me feel stupid. They gave me all the time I needed, knowing full well I wasn't going to purchase anything today. They are family owned and operated and I would highly recommend them. Oh, and Emms (pony-tail lady) is the best!!!

  I have been shopping with Superstore4less right from the beginning. I've seen many employees come and go. There is a saying "if you've nothing to say, silence is solace" if people want to complain about the wait times then go to a big box. Superstore4less has good deals and you have to get there early. if not then wait. I really respect the guys working there for putting up with attitudes and trying their best. Hands down This place is the cheapest on used gear in the entire street block. They seem to have almost any camera part you need. If you dont mind waiting on a good deal go here. if you want to complain about wait times. pull the pin out of a grenade for a ticket. Good luck!.

  I have been going to Super Store 4 Less for years now and must say that this place is THE gold standard for Camera Stores in New York. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and willing to explain all the nuances of the multitudes of new DSLRs unveiled. My first camera purchase was through them (a FUJIFILM X-A7), and since then I have gone on to upgrade a FUJIFILM X-T4 and most recently a FUJIFILM GFX 50R. The wait times can be lengthy, but the store uses a ticketing system to move through customers on a first come first serve basis. For quick purchases they have an express lane. I highly recommend checking this place out!

  Super store 4 less ran out of stock of a particular Fujifilm "dslr" I was then asked to get on the reserve list. Which I did with great hesitation. From my previous experiences from other stores. They tend to forget or never contact you when the product is in stock at their store. Super store 4 less proved to be different. Just when I was giving up hope I was contacted by them via email. Advising me that they had some Fujifilms in stock! So I immediately put in my request and order for one on their website. And sure enough it went through and had a confirmation number. Went to the store in New York the next day and it was there waiting for me. Thank you Super store 4 less! Cliff

  I purchased two entry-level telescopes online, and the binoculars I chose to trade in with them to brought best deals different times. Super-store-4-less reached out to them via email, called them numerous times, waited on hold, and then Nelson sent me an email letting me know what was going on. He offered to find another telscope close to me, and got my items shipped the same day. Top-class act. It is so refreshing to get nice pleasant individuals on the phone who truly want to help you with your purchase. One of the telescopes I got is a Super-Store branded, and after this (being my 2nd extremely positive experience) I can't wait to finish the build and have their brand logo on my equipment.   Easily one of the best camera stores in the heart of New York. The prices are fair and the customer service is excellent. They also have a competent optics-smith who charges reasonable repair fees. The online selection is solid, and I like that I can have items shipped to the store for free (also, the store inventory level info on the website seems dead-on and is very helpful). My only complaint is that it sometimes gets very busy, but that's due to popularity, not the staffing level. Each guy working the counter gives each customer all the time they need to make a decision and have their questions answered. To mitigate long wait times, they have an express counter if you are just picking up an online order, need specific accessories/kit, or need cleaning services. Unlike most camera stores, the shop is bright and airy, and it does not have the claustrophobia-like feel so many electronic chains still have. They also have plenty of seats in case you have to wait. Great shop, nice people.

  I have bought a bunch of cameras from Super-store-4-less in NY during the past 3 years. The staff is always excellent, friendly, polite, honest, informative and patient. I have never been rushed and they have never ever been rude. The staff knows their stuff and the variety of cameras is very broad and has huge depth.   Great shop to purchase from for anything you might possibly need. I was a frequent customer to this location until moving to Long Island. Now I'm loyal to the NY location. Their employees are very knowledgeable and Super Store does exceptional work. Their prices are also lower from competitors and quality used cameras and accessories.   I was in the market for a Studio EFP equipment and decided to go with Sony Full HD Studio Camera. I bought my first video camera from them many years ago when it was not as big a showroom. I remember the customer service from that purchased and was happy with the service. I purchased my EFP online and 2 days later I was given an appointment to come in to start their training. Completing the 101 Basics Series provides a solid foundation of television production, publishing schedules and equipment knowledge. 2 days later I get a call asking me about setting up an appointment to pick up my EFP based on the avg wait time they've been experiencing from the courier providers strain. Long story short, it has been a GREAT experience. I recommend giving it a try🤠🤙

  Super knowledgeable staff and welcomed me with a smile. There is a reinforcing lock on the door and you have to be let in, lets you know that they take safety seriously. They didn't offer the exact services I wanted but they shepherded me in the right direction. They also pitched in with a free bottle of water on a summer day.   I've bought two Riflescopes from these guys so far. Supreme customer service and even added Red Dot/Holographic Sights to one of them right there in the store in minutes. I used to buy from the "other" local optics store however the lines were long, no parking and the service was terrible. At Super+Store If you need something they don't haggle, they can order for you, no problem. I wont go no where else now. Very competitive pricing and they really reward your loyalty magnanimously.

  Top-notch Super Store! It's shipshape, knowledgeable, helpful. Not an intimidating high-street atmosphere but very welcoming to all kinds of people no matter their experience with cameras. I think they handled the pandemic very well contrary to some shops. They are very proactive on social media. They prioritize for the health and safety of their staff and patrons and never skip a beat in their processes. They are transparent and have great cameras for all comfort levels. I dont think I will ever go to another shop. I am a patron for life and would like to get some merchandise to promote them. I swear these folks would do great if they had a range because their comfortable environment would make it great for first timers to get some range time.

  I ordered and purchased a sports camera through Superstore4less. Bottom line is I ended up with a new Sony Alpha a6400 Mirrorless Digital Camera with 16-50mm lens kit and lots of accessories during a pandemic, and they made it happen. There were some bumps in the road, but nothing out of the ordinary given the current circumstances. The staff is friendly enough, but if I need walking rays of sunshine, I'll go see a florist. This is a camera shop. These people are already operating under attack from anti-Brick Amazon, and now they're inundated with first time camera buyers many of which have had their heads in the sand during important moments for high-resolution revolutions having shot on smartphone. One thing Superstore4less does better than most is balancing their attention between folks that are in the store and the endless stream of calls. Having been on both sides many times, I never felt neglected in either scenario. I have recommended this place to coworkers and will return.

  Went in to shop for a new EOS R5 and to look around. These guys have everything I was looking for and some thing I didn't know I needed. I was greeted by one of the sales staff, they didn't size me up and they didn't give me a hard time about parking. They brought me every camera I asked to see, they were very helpful and answered all my questions. I was treated me like a paying customer. They were very professional with me, shared some tips and gave me info on the range they shoot at. I bought what I needed and left willing to be a repeat customer. I'm sold.

  Fast and easy experience. Staff are professional and upfront about the process and FAA regulations around drones use in NY purchase and ownership. A few friendly dogs are in the store too as an added bonus. Parking on weekdays is easy but a pain on weekends.

  I had seen a HamiltonBuhl camera kit on there website that I was interested in buying for my daughter. As soon as I walked through the door I was asked if I had any question or needed anything by Nelson behind the counter. I explained what I was there to see and much to my disappointment it had already been sold at an earlier date. Although I did not leave buying the kid camera I wanted for my daughter. I did buy another one for me. Emm was very helpful and willing to answer any and all question I had. Very pleased with the service and experience I had at super-store. First time I have shopped here as it is not where I usually go for scopes or photography equipment but will definitely be back to do more business with them!!

  I've bought a few cameras from them and I've never had any difficulties. There are some guys there working, and they may come off as snobbish, but they really aren't. They're nice guys, just a little tough. Anyway, in my first experience there I came to buy a premium cable adapter for a MacBook Air and the guy helping me (veteran citizen) helped me out. He gave me some info and opinions, but he did come off a little abrasive in way of personality. To the point, no talking, etc. Aside from that, transaction went good, no issues, pick up was easy, and done. The second time back, I bought two external hard drives a new gal named Emm, and I could tell she was a little new to the store, but she still had good Mac knowledge. Her doing the paperwork and taking information did take longer, but she smiled and apologized and talked to make me and my friend warmly. She was very fun to work with and brought a little happiness to the overall serious feel you might get from other staff members. Overall I've had a great experience with SuperStore4Less and more than likely I'll be stopping by for future Macs. They have a nice selection and keep a good amount of computers on hand.

  This is a great camera store. Large selection and great prices on cameras along with a nice eclectic of electronics. Friendly, down to earth customer service, no snobs here. Great consignment video digital cameras and very reasonable prices, the only way to get an off point & shoot cameras and a large selection of new Leica, Nikon digital cameras and lighting equipment all at fair prices. They also have a shelf in the back with used cameras at great prices and a good amount of lenses accessories as well. Worth stopping in on a regular basis, you'll never know what you'll find. I highly recommend.

  I was there last week for advice on which camera to buy. I had two cameras in my mind. I was given insightful advice here and was allowed to look at and test the cameras. I was also asked what is important to me in photography. As an alternative, I was also offered a corresponding system camera. I tested them all. The system camera was out of the question for me after a long time considering that the battery life and the storage solution (XQD only) did not appeal to me at the moment. So I decided on a system camera again. I reserved them by phone. The phone call was very pleasant. In the shop I was also looked after by the same employee who made the call. I still had the opportunity to ask questions and he offered to help me with problems or questions. I can get support there at any time. You don't just buy "a product". But what is particularly important to me is that I also receive appropriate support. I found it here. I am absolutely satisfied and would be happy to recommend Super Store. 5 stars from me. Many thanks to the great team on site and everything was uncomplicated and easy. I am also very satisfied with the advice, compared to the litany of misleading feedback that you get in larger electronics stores ...

  Treasure trove of advice - the colleague had reserved a lot of time with me and let me try different cameras / lenses. For me it is clear that I will buy there as well. A comparison with Amazon: The price at Super Store was even cheaper! Otherwise, no better address for photo merchandise, both digital and analog!
