  SuperStore4Less is a lifesaver. They may not and can't stock everything, but it is a complex stock: I've gotten amazing value at times, especially from their used gear and special sales days, and benefitted hugely from their classes and by talking to manufacturer's experts at their special events. I ask a lot of questions, and we all have choices but if they stock it I always buy there so these invaluable resources and good people will be there for me tomorrow. Simply because I began to shop at online stores, over time photography has become less about finances but a matter of magic and luck, it boils down to the choices I make. So the store where I buy my tools is helping me move beyond tools! I like that a lot, and I respect the heck out of them for it. Thanks.

  Loved their customer service here. There is a depth and enthusiasm of the entire team of professionals behind this store that continues to inspire me. I buy here because they continue to save me huge amounts of money by making lucrative recommendations and tersely giving me the why of it, keeping me out of murky waters while letting me amplify my interests in ways I had no idea we're open to me. When I grab my gear, there are very few items that I've bought from SuperStore4Less that are not serving me well or that I would easily part with. If you don't have a wider range of interests than you will ever be able to satisfy or you haven't made a lot of mistakes or false starts in life it is hard to explain how valuable this is, but over the long term it is true economy and it leverages your time, money, and effort and gets you way farther. Nothing short or more of a timeless photography hub

  I dropped my Nikon camera :( and popped in on a weekday after work and was so impressed with the proactive and compassionate aspect of the staff. The shop is huge with a vast inventory and cool vibe. The employees gave me some insightful advice and an estimate on repairing a lens and I was able to pick up a few things that had been left off in my shopping checklist. Very positive experience.

  I have been shopping at this business for over 10 years, first when I got a Sony and when I used to develop and print 35mm black and white film, to now, in the Amazon age. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. They’re not just trying to induce camera sales - their service attitude is very customer oriented. They help you make prudent decisions about the investments that you make in cameras and lenses. The class offerings are relevant to the times too - digital as well as iPhone imagery; and wide range of topics including post photography applications. I don’t give many five star ratings - but this one definitely deserves it in all aces.

  For video and photo production, this place sparkles! I bought a lighting for my studio and an Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone for iPhone and Smartphones here to produce some videos for a company meeting I'm preparing, and the staff went above and beyond helping me out. If you have a purchase to make, SuperStore4Less prices are competitive with new equipment off amazon!

  I love the store's newly extended products lineup! They really seem to utilize the new space well. I was in the middle of buying a pair of Celestron binoculars from them, and I'm amazed that their prices blow the top online retailers out of the water, and with customer service and speedy help you'll never find online. The selection of professional and prosumer gear is impressive too. Another very satisfied customer.

  Not only a photographer's store, SuperStore4Less is a great place for people who want to gaze better at the cosmos. The staff is very helpful and does a terrific job of coaching their customers into getting better results from their equipment. Their prices are very competitive and when you factor in the value of the expertise, shopping here becomes an obvious choice when compared to buying online. If you need astrophotography instrument and want to buy it from people who really understand how to use it, come here.

  Such a personalized and consistently compassionate experience just being at the store. The staff is very friendly and the positive atmosphere of the store is inviting. There's a wide selection of cameras to shop and try out, and there are experts helping you make the best buying decisions. I even had a weird software bug in my camera, and they helped me get nuke it free of charge! I love this store.

  The second I stepped into Super Store 4 Less I was so warmly welcomed and totally delighted by the knowledge and variety of devices in store. I did my homework and actually went to a couple stores outside of New York, including Manhattan. Their price are right. What really did it was their commitment specially Jonathan who understood my needs and fulfill every aspect and assist me with every step to make a right decision to what I needed towards my website. My situation was unusual. I am an graphics expert having an art shop that has just opened at Albany. I bought three distinct scopes with different lenses, filters and ancillary supplies. Without their guidance throughout every step my creative work would have been extremely difficult. I made it easy, nuanced information in advice, became involved and made the process a total pleasure! Thank you Jonathan and Super Store 4 Less. Oh yes the startup is robust!

  There are not only accessories of interest to photographers, astronomers, and amateurs, but also emergency radios, metal detectors, apprentice-biologist kits, a wide selection of books and scientific activity kits. for children, among others! It beats by far the souvenir shop of the science museum. I have always received a polite and non-intrusive service from employees. Moreover, they are still at your disposal to answer all your questions!

  Awesome place. Super Store 4 Less is the place to go for all your camera needs. Jonathan was so friendly and helpful with any questions or issues I raised when looking to purchase a Nikon lenses and some tripod mounts. He went so far beyond the expected level of customer service. Prices are cheaper than anywhere else and if they are not, talk to the staff and I'm sure they will beat it. Will never buy camera gear from another store in the city!!!!!

  Great. I will only buy quality equipment from them. I got my first microscope from them when I was a kid many moons ago, and have never bought a microscope anywhere else throughout the 20 years since. Since then I have bought 3 cameras, 2 more microscopes, hand lenses and an assortment of other decent instruments. I have even sent a few university professors over to them to get optical equipment. Reliable place.

  I was in for a VERY pleasant suprise. Emm knows his stuff! He demonstrated a deep knowledge ranging from camera sensors to optics and took all the time it needed to show and explain to me what result I could expect from different equipment configurations (Mounts/Filters/Computer Guidance/etc.) I had him quote me a full system, it was right in my budget and I was more than happy leaving the store with a very nice setup. Rental prices are quite good and they have a great selection of new and used products. I can only say good things about this place. I'm a happy customer and I will most likely purchase again from this store in the foreseable future.

  The staff at Super Store 4 Less New York are super helpful. They really know what they’re talking about. I needed some help with purchasing some astronomy equipment and they took their time to explain details to me, and let me check out equipment without restrictions so i know how it would work together. It’s probably the best shopping experience i’ve had. I went down to the binoculars section after i finished up at the main store, and the gentleman there was just as helpful, providing me with detailed answers to the questions i was asking.   I recently purchased a Canon DSLR 77D. Breathtaking experience, looking for a deal on a sony lens, I saw an ia hard to get item and came to check it out. No pressure from staff, just loads of useful information. I left the store to consider, 2 days later shot a generic email to this store to enquire about the said lens availability, and got an email back right away. Proud owner of the Sony GM.   These guys understand customer service and have the product knowledge to back it up. I could buy from several stores in NY City but would rather give them my business hands down.   I love that place, i had really a great experience there. I asked a sales rep some questions about my Leica camera, he was very knowledgeable and friendly, he gave me lots of information about it, and how to upgrade my camera in the future. I got my camera from 42nd Photo, but they didn't tell about very important infos about the lenses and other technical issues. For sure i will visit Super Store 4 Less again!

  Excellent store. I popped in to take ask questions about a few cameras I am considering. The person I spoke with (Emm) was very knowledgeable and did not lure me to pricey, unnecessary equipment. I left with a good idea about what I need and also some nifty tips on making sure that is the case. I will return in the next month or so to make a purchase.   Mastery knowledge. Experts establishment based on people who know the field of photography inside and out. They won’t try to push you into some aggressively sweetened upsell or redundant carrots, they don’t need to. They’re always in good faith - take it or leave it. If you want a for sure answer – ask these guys, especially the ones in the back taking care of the repair and rentals. Reasoned pricing!

  Iconic-camera/telescope/binoculars/glasses store located in the heart of NY City. Staff are friendly and do not pressure you into buying something unnecessary. They typically have a solid selection of used gear of most major camera brands. Super Store 4 Less also has a good variety of rental equipment for Celestron and Meade brands. Best of all they have plenty of old school reflectors, Newtonian support ☺️

  I love Super Store 4 Less! They have just about everything to meet my photography needs. The staff are kind and very helpful. I just recently purchased a reinforcement for my aerial camera and the salesman gathered many items for me to look at and try. He took things out of the boxes and assembled them for demonstration. It was so nice to have the personal service that is hard to find these days. He was very helpful and informative without being aggressively pushy.😀

  As a Federal prosecutor specializing in forensics a few years ago I needed a very reliable DSLR. Emm and his excellent staff at Super Store 4 Less patiently discussed the few options that best met my needs for obtaining a crime scene workhorse to generate crystal clear photographs to corroborate the other pieces of evidence to better explain defendant's guilt to my Criminal Justices and jury. I decided on the Canon EOS 1300D teamed with a Sigma 18-300 F3.5-6.3 DC OS HSM and the dual source Canon wireless remote SB-R200 flash system. We placed the flash on a special mount which allows adjustment of flash position for both the close in photographs and the full face portraits. I couldn’t be happier and have recommend them to all my prosecutorial team, attorneys, and friends for there photographic needs

  I popped into the store, I could spot everything in terms of trying out the novelty and cutting-edge technology from any major manufacturer; they generally have the entire range from Canon, Nikon, Sony, Olympus, Panasonic, Fujifilm, Sigma, and Tamron on hand. What's more, they'll actually let you take it out of the case and sync it with your camera (or try one of theirs). Add to that the impressive selection of accessories like lighting equipment, bags, and tripods; a decent selection of used lenses; a well-stocked film rig (and the ability to develop everything from black and white to slide film in-store!); a sizzling rental selection; and knowledgeable staff - it's simply a legendary arena. There's not really another place like it in the city, as even DC doesn't have a camera store this equipped/comprehensive. The prices are regular retail, but what you pay for is backed up by the store and its techs, not to mention the convenience of actually being able to hold something in your hands before buying.

  I darkened their door for the first time today. I am not a pro and I was feeling fearful going into a strange camera stores because the owners at most places can be snobs and look down through the nose. Well, all of the staff at Super Store is run by patient, courteous, helpful people who make you feel like sweet home. They have a ton of inventory—every lens, camera and accessory you could want. A huge used selection too. The store is a little busy which I attribute to them doing a great job building a strong brand. They had like 5 or 6 people working, so nobody had to wait. I watched them talking with other customers and they were so great with everybody. I traded in some used equipment and bought a new lens. Very satisfied with my trade-in spoils and the price of my new lens. They have everything I’m looking for in a camera store. Lots of inventory and they don't scare you off!

FRIDAY morning I received a email to inform me it had arrived early.   This company is excellent. Dealt with them online over email about ordering an item to Michigan (on Easter Sunday) and someone got back to me within 30 mins with all of the information I needed and more about ordering and delivering it to me on time.   Located in a busy road, Super store 4 less is one of the most reliable photography gear retail stores in New York. Parking is quite complicated as it might be quite crammed, but the streets nearby will open you some more space. The staff are attentive, and know what they are selling. Camera bodies, lens, tripods, bags, lens, cards, lights; you name it, they will probably have it in store. It's worth a visit, especially if you want to have a physical look before buying the product. Would recommend.

  I have been there to buy a proprietary Gimbal . Looks like they gave me good price, though online would be cheaper than this place, I did not want to go headfirst into the murky waters of eCommerce.   Super Store 4 Less definitely know what customer service is all about.. they have always been really helpful, and I regularly head here for all my camera needs, and even just to browse. Just recently I called up and asked for assistance to decipher the shutter stats on my Fujifilm DSLR as I was having issues downloading the software onto my hp. They suggested I just bring the camera in, and cracked the shutter code in a few minutes. It's the little things that go a long way. Highly recommend this place to everyone!

The shop is complete, the employees are super kind, flexible, and knowledgeable, and there's very little hassle. Staff took time explaining the items and helped us out beyond imagined expectations even though we wanted to return equipment. They changed our minds completely to the better.   Great customer service and normal prices (compared to behemoths). More choice than the other ones too. Peacefully quiet area with a sprawling customer parking. I've exchanged my new camera bought here (which has a strange hit on the side, i didn't check the whole stuff the first time, should be done systematically by the seller in front of you to avoid the "maybe-guilty-maybe-not" stuff) for a "ok" one without problems. Well, i definitely recommend.

  Hands down the best place for all your camera needs. They literally have everything you could possibly need or want for your camera. As for customer service, let me just say that if there were a better star rating system I'd give Super store 4 less team a 10 out of 5 STARS!!! They deserve DOUBLE star rating for their EXCELLENT customer service. Everyone is highly trained and actually knows what you're talking about, it's weird to say but every time I go into their store, it literally feels like as if I am at home because of how they treat you and how welcoming they all are, just like your family or friends would welcome you in.
