  Go the extra mile" today that's exactly what Emm (from Super store 4less did, I needed help with advice & how to work a specific feature on my camera, a product that I bought from a different store, I called Emm to see if he was free to see me & possibly give me advice, without hesitating he said "come in we'll talk then", upon arrival Emm took me through the functions & gave me advice on how to work my camera. I've bought lenses from them & a couple of other things but nothing today, regardless of not making a sale he treated me like a friend rather than a "customer". I will continue to shop from Super store 4less & I highly recommend anyone who needs a camera or camera accessories to visit these guys, trust me you won't regret it. Thank you James and the team at Super store 4less for an amazing experience.

  They have always been super helpful when I come in. Have purchased lenses, cameras, filters, and tripods from them not once. Never once have I been pushed into a sale. The experts have always taken the time to review my needs and budget. With those two pieces of information they show me an array of options giving the pros and cons and allowing me to make the final call. These guys really know their stuff and have a passion for photography!

  Top-quality staff, knowledge and DSLR inventory. Emm was very helpful. I voyage (3 1/2 hr drive) and only have big box stores available in my backyard since camera shops were wiped off the face of my neighborhood by the internet. When it comes to photography you need knowledgeable people, and more than that, you need to touchy feel cameras, lenses and accessories. They know their stuff. Tip: they don't push you towards the expensive brands if you are on a shoestring budget. I got a bird's eye of their terrific price tags! Bring your camera with you when you come in.

  I recently purchased a new DSLR camera but I only had experience with point and shoot cameras. I asked John, our salesman about the classes and he said they were 1 on 1 and he teaches you how to use your personal camera. John was very knowledgeable about the camera and the 1 on 1 format was just what I needed. The store has been here for about 40 years and so have some of the salesmen. That is evidenced by their knowledge of photography. They also sell many other hobby supplies including model telescopes. In some of the more modern stores you can hardly find somebody to help you and when you do they they don't even know what they sell. Here they know what they sell very well and are willing to spend the time to properly advise you before the purchase. I would highly recommend this store.

  Super nice shop! The proprietor name is Jonathan, he is very passionate about his work and I really appreciate his kindness! He is very willing to share camera info or any questions you have. Have been to this store several times and and each time I am more and more excited to visit!   Discovered this place in the middle of research about the metabones speedbooster I owned from my father. The salesman who helped me allowed me to borrow a lens in store to check out the issue. Beyond kind and helpful. Their prices are not bad at all. The exact same as online without worrying about shipment. Can't wait to pick up the Sigma I ordered and can't thank you guys enough for the help!

  I visited Super store for less this week for the first time. I had a lot of questions about how best to archive digitally antique super 8 film, and 35mm slides. I was starting with very scarce details. I spent nearly an hour with Jonathan, who educated me in archiving of these materials. He even took me up to the tech guys to evaluate the various materials I had. Jonathan did a GREAT job. By the end of the hour I had a concrete plan for how to proceed. So this archiving project which had been languishing for a decade not only became possible, but became possible faster, easier, with a higher quality than I might have imagined. Kudos to Super store and the people I worked with in New York

  I'm very pleased with my experiences at Super Store 4 Less. Andy helped me find the right camera (Panasonic Lumix) for my needs that I bought at a competitive online price. Jonathan arranged for a quick and easy swap when the camera malfunctioned after 3 weeks (it happens). I don’t think I caused the failure, yet I couldn’t prove it, but I got the replacement with no questions asked (keep the box!). I always strive to shop locally and Super store 4 less came through for me.

  I purchased a ND filter for the 77 mm Canon lens from Superstore4less. I damaged it after using it a few months. I called to see if I could get a replacement for the hybrid lens that I had shattered when trying to tighten. To my surprise, they told me to bring it in with my receipt, and they would give me a new one. I paid $200 for this filter, and it made me mad that I had broken it. They went above and beyond to make me a happy guy. They may be a little on the expensive side for some things but the service you get makes it well worth it!

  Super Store 4 Less is blazing the trail in New York. Emm even shared locations of great out of the way scenic backgrounds , including printed driving directions, to take amazing pictures. Evidence of his skills and abilities are all around the shop and some of his prints are truly amazing. I was so impressed I ended up buying 3 of his prints. Can't say enough good things about Emm. He's a pro and a gentleman. Here's also a very good salesman 😁 He'll sell you a lot more things than you went in looking to buy. I would recommend him and his store highly to anyone looking for photography equipment, advice and good conversation. He's a custodian of the Photography secrets.

  Found a Nikon SB700 here that I couldn't find in at least 10 other Nikon authorised stores. I loved they had more accessories than big box stores in New York. Unique destination for the shopper who knows how to discover a shop at the edges of the streets by chance.

  I called up about a problem with a high-end camera not firing on my large format lens. Explaining that I had a job on requiring it's use the next day one of the engineers talked me through a possible fix on the phone whilst I dismantled the shutter... I had made the repair successfully in 30 minutes and was good to go again. I can't thank Super store 4less enough... indebted to you!

  I was impressed and delighted by the sensor cleaning of my Canon EOS 5D, having initially been given a reasonable online quotation of the cost and expected turnaround time. Throughout the process I was kept fully informed of developments, before finally having the camera securely packaged and safely returned by a tracked courier service.   A purchase of nearly $3,200 of DSLR equipment is not to be taken lightly and certainly not to be just chanced on an internet purchase. I have upgraded to the Canon EOS 80D only after careful consideration and trying out the product. It was essential that I also got a genuine US product rather than a grey import as I required the guarantee and latter assurance of the product being genuine. Superstore4less gave me all the assurances I needed and more. Expert sales staff ensured I walked away with the correct product and at a reasonable price. I would have no hesitation in recommending this shop whom I have dealt with for over 25 years!

  Superstore4less is my go to place for Photo items. They helped me build my business over the last few years and continues to answer my questions and emails promptly.   In terms of selection, Superstore4less is about as all encompassing as it gets in NYC. Basically a runt of the litter to B&H (which is a compliment). Sales staff, here are always attentive to help bwith your issues.... Rentals dept is great all around (but also your only choice if you don’t carry your own equipment insurance.

Plus, they run a great equipment rental operation if you just need something for shoot, for a special weekend's worth of shooting or to try before you buy (always recommended before major purchases!) If you need anything to do with the photography/videography industry in New York, definitely make Superstore4less a stop. Adorama rightfully gets a lot of attention, but this store is absolutely competitive with them (if not more so). Highly recommended

  Super Store is far ahead in championing film photography, if you're an analogue photographer you have to love it. They have an amazing selection of film, and development chemicals and accessories. Just hope the guy with the conspicuously tattooed body is around, he's always a tremendous help.

  One of the shops for photographic equipment in New York or United States. They have a lot of stuff that you can buy for photography and cinematography. I often buy there wallpapers and other stuff. The service is always nice even if you have to wait sometimes while they are really busy. The good thing is there is a coffee machine that you can enjoy the waiting time relaxed .. There are good possibilities for parking outside. So all you need is here.

  Everyone who loves photography should have been in Super Store 4 Less with Nikon. The store is super contemporary and you can watch everything in tranquility. The park is grandiose. The building imitates an ethereal movie. And if you look closely you can see from the top that it should be a Hubble 🔭 taking a deep glimpse into the bowels of the universe. Elegant architecture. The shop is just beautiful. In addition, well-stocked. 😋😋 The building tells the story of modern photography in digital garb.

  I am very happy with Super store Camera in New York. The contact is very professional at all times and the staff are all very nice. Regardless of whether the contact was made by phone, on site or by email. I was helped quickly and easily, and above all in a very accommodating manner, if I had a problem that I was responsible for. Excellent! It's always called city's service desert, but that doesn't apply to Super Store in NYC. I would not have thought that there is still such a service-oriented business and then I find such a darling in New York of all places.   Breathtaking experience: warm welcome, tailored advice (depending on your use and to support your advancement, a real range of products all carefully selected and to top it off, a half-day training offered to use your device in the field. The team treats the beginner with respect, they take the time to explain to you, to train you. A rare experience for a local business that must absolutely be supported.   Everything is there. Very pleasant and fast service. The advice is sound. If you do not know where to go to get photo or video equipment, these guys ensure you have the most relevant choice and advice. It is a specialized photo, video and used equipment store. You never seem to bother them. Once they made a mistake, apologized and rectified the situation. It is unfortunately something that becomes rare suddenly, but it deserves top ratings.

  Very good experience. They treated me very kindly and warmly. I went to swap a Valentine's present and everything was easy. And above all, I got a camera at a second-hand price.   Because of Superstore4less, I struck a street value deal and promos so that I could take sharp, crystal clear pictures, from vistas to lush jungles carpeting the Amazon, and to even places where you find turquoise waters.   Emm at this store truly cares about your needs as a photographer and tries to pair you with the perfect equipment to get the job done. After my initial one hour conversation with staff and his recommendation of a camera that I knew nothing about, I told him that I would go do my research and come back when I'm convinced that that was the camera for me. I went home, did my research and low and behold everything he had told me was spot on. The camera that he had suggested that was half the price of the Sony I originally wanted got even better reviews. I went back the following day and bought everything I needed to get me started on my new photography journey.

  Extremely considerate staff. Courteous too. It was my first time there. I was in the middle of an photographic event and I just realized that i do not have my spare battery. I called on a Saturday, they were open. I purchased the battery. However i did not use it , and staff was so considerate that they immediately issued a refund. They also rent some equipment.
