I’m a 78 year old man and I can hit the ball off the tee at a distance of 240 plus. The ball flies true and is really durable. Highly recommend this ball.

The balls are excellent for the price, but I really wish you didn’t have to purchase 5 dozen to get the benefit. I could understand 3 dozen and over but 5 is to much.

These golf balls are great to try out! I recommend the MTB- X for slower swing speeds and the black for higher swing speeds. I noticed the MTB-X balls were able to check better when chipping around the green from low rough/fairway. These balls perform similar to a Titleist Pro-V1 and Pro-V1x.

Quality all around ball that inspires confidence. No interest in playing another ball. Price point makes it possible to load up with new balls

These balls have to be the best and most consistent golf balls I have ever used in 20 yrs of playing golf. They not only go as far or better than the PRO v1 x I was using but they STOP on the green with my Irons.

It spins more around the greens, is longer with the driver and feels just solid and great off the club face. Oh, did I mention it outperforms balls twice it's price? I can sit here and tell you how great it is but let's be honest... seeing is believing. Get yourself a dozen and try them out. Or ""borrow"" a sleeve from your pal that's pummeling you with with them!

After ordering a dozen of the MTB-X and Black, I played them against each other a few times on a mostly empty golf course. Both balls were great for spin and feel, but for me, the Black was just a bit longer on drives. I'm 59, hdcp 8, and 95-100 clubhead speed on my driver. You can't beat the price for a ball this good. Urethane cover, great feel around the greens... what's not to like? Since first settling on the Black, then it was just a question of white or yellow. Love them both, and think it'll be white in summer, yellow the rest of the year.

Tried the sampler pack as suggested by Snell. I played 9 holes with them an couldn't take it any more. They were like hitting rocks! Went back to my Tru-Soft's for the same nine holes and had a much betterexperience with feel, control and score.

I’ve been playing the mtb-x for almost a year now and it plays every bit as good as the pro v-1x. I get great distance and my approach shots stop on a dime. The snell feels slightly firmer all around but that is easy to get used to. I live in Florida and with all the water this ball is a no brainer.

Really impressed with the ball. Held up to every test on the course, distance was great and I shot a career low 2- under 70 with the ball. Also appreciated the fact that when I wasn't having my best day, losing a ball of two didn't make me extra frustrated over wasted money. In fact, losing a ball that I didn't overpay for made me get over it a lot faster on the course and get back to playing well. Will be back for more!

Of course golf is a game of great one day and not so much others but sixteen strokes difference between rounds. Of course tree trouble here and overshot layups there add up, but love the way these MTB-X feel and check over the ProV1 played the previous round. Maybe the fact that shots ended up landing where I felt the strike should have placed them added confidence which never hurts. Time will tell.

Great distance with a semi soft feel. Love the green side control and being able to aggressively attack the pin. Only down side is all my golf buddy’s use the same ball and it would be nice to have some double digit or number customization as a option. This is the only ball I hit for a reason. All purpose ball priced right.

Solid high quality products. Haven't broken a Tee, yet! Lost a couple, though. I don't use the style of ball marker that came with the pack, but it made a nice decorative piece. Prior to receiving this pack I also didn't use that type of ball mark repair tool, but was very surprised by the ease of use. I generally used a two prong, but this worked extremely well, so I'm going to stick with it. My only complaint is that the logo on the repair tool is already wearing off.

A very consistent golf ball flight. Great feel off irons and woods. I have played several golfs ball as a amateur from Pro V1, Sirxon, Taylormade, as well as Callaway. Neither of those balls performance for me with the short game or off the tee. Off the I gained 10 yards without anything different to my swing. My short game has improved from 100 yards into the green. Off my putter it holds it’s line to the hole.

I had been using the MTB Red for a awhile, but when it was replaced by the X and they improved to Black it took me a few test packs to figure out which I preferred. Distance wise, they both performed very well, not only in comparison to each other, but other high quality balls I've used. The Black had a better feel and sound, but the final decision came to green side spin/control. For my game, the X just performed better around the greens. It didn't take much to get used to the firmer feel and slightly clicky sound. Gonna be sticking with the MTB-X for awhile. Definitely recommend this test pack to help others decide.

First, I'll list all the negatives.......Okay, that's done. Now, I'll list some of the pluses...1. Direct factory pricing, no middle man..2. Dean Snell is a true man of his word, and a gentleman..3. Ball is awesome. it is long off the driver, but very responsive for those ""knockdown"" shots, and quick ""checkers"" around the green. Putting characteristics are just as you want them to be...4. Offerings of special edition (stars and stripes) balls sometimes. God bless the USA, and Dean Snell. Capitalism at it's finest.

Both MTB Black & MTB-X are great golf balls. Good price, and both balls perform/play very well even after numerous rounds.

I tried both the MTB Black and MTB-X last year. I finally decided I preferred the MTB-X. Both are excellent golf balls. As good as any of the high priced golf balls out there at a terrific price. Just a low-handicapper that got tired of spending more and more for overpriced golf balls.

I’m very happy with the new MTB-X golf balls. Although I can’t directly attribute my lower scores to the MTB-X, they certainly are indirectly helping. Thanks for all you do to improve the game.

Somewhat of a skeptic until the first time I played them. I've always played the higher end balls and was convinced these were every bit as good after my first round. Since then I have introduced them to 3 other individuals who now play them. Also convinced a local high school to purchase them for their boys and girls teams. Keep up the good work

I have been using the MTB-X for about 6 months now. I can all way count on if I do my job right the ball is going to pro-form the same every time. I can have found that I am now out driving the group I play with. The ball stops on the approach shots. I have given a couple of the guys a couple of sleeves, now they play nothing else. Thanks for the great product. Keep up the great work.

Have used on the range last 4 or 5x since in winter here in NE. This glove is as good as it gets. Beautiful construction with, IMO, top leather. As equal to or better than any glove on the market. Has held up quite well after striking about 1,000 range balls plus practice swings and show little wear and tear.

Over the last 10 years I enjoyed trying new golf balls. For years I played the NXT Tour based on performance/price. When that was discontinued I switched to the B330 RX and now B Tour RX. I decided to try the Snell MTB Black for something different. After playing 2 dozen they remind me of the NXT Tours. I would say they are comparable in all phases. The difference between the MTB and B Tour RX is distance off the tee. For my 88 mph driver swing the B Tour RX goes further. But the price point of the MTB Black is much lower and the distance delta isn’t that great.

The Optic Yellow MTB Black is performing very nicely. I can usually see the ball better than a white ball.

I’ve played Snell balls for years. Started with MTB Black for the last couple of years and moved to the X last year. I find they perform every bit as well as much more expensive “tour” balls. Well done Dean!!!

I have played ProV balls in the past.My buddy told me I should try The Snell ball.I tried them and love them.I am a 5 handicap and I can’t tell the difference between the ProV and my Snell MTB.One thing is for sure, I hit the ball first and put a lot of spin on the ball, My ProV would scuff, My MTB does not scuff.I purchase them 5 dozen at a time.

I've been playing the Snell golf balls for some time now but have been incredibly impressed with the latest MTB version, the MTB-X. I'm a mid-handicapper and I've found this ball to perform every bit as well as the Pro-V's I used to play before switching to Snell products. The look and the feel are exceptional, the distance is great, but I'm really impressed with the performance of the ball in the short game. I'm able to control the spin on my pitch and chip shots much better and can count on the ball to check and stop where i need it to. It's amazing to get this quality for much less money than the other premium balls in the box stores. Thank you Dean and your team for the knowledge, vision and hard work required to make this product so great and affordable! Hope you guys are in the secret lab developing the swing-grooving magic pill because I could still use some help with that! lol
