  Ordered 2 drives, upon receiving the 2 drives noticed they were the wrong tray design, called and setup a RMA to return them and repurchase 2 new drives. Found out at this point they have a 15% restocking fee. They waived the fee. Asked for assistance in getting the correct tray design, they said they were only a reseller and do not offer and advice on what to buy. Ordered 4 drive this time, they were also the incorrect tray design. The descriptions on the website state they are for the 14 gen server but did not see in the description the tray size. Requested an RMA again to order the right drives but was told they were going to charge the 15% restocking fee, even with me ordering replacement drives. They said they would change the restocking fee to 10% which would be $250. Decided to order the right trays from amazon vs returning the drives and paying their restocking fee. The drives were new and being returned in the same bubble wrap they sent the drives in. They would not budge on the restocking fee even when doing a replacement. I've ordered from them multiple times but will find someone else to order from after the customer service received on this order.

  I have purchased from Server Supply numerous times over the years and almost always was very satisfied. One time they sent me drives packaged in a manner that was not consistent with manufacturer packing guidelines and that bothered me However, aside from that one incident they have always been reliable and a great source for hard to find parts. Unless the server begins to crash in the next 2 weeks, my call for a new power supply was correct and the refurb power supply from server supply arrived quickly and in good shape and has fixed my problem.

  Server Supply had precisely the part I needed for an older server with a failed drive. Server was configured with RAID 1+0 and a hot spare so the hot spare had already come online, data wasn't in danger, but I needed the right drive. I was able to order a drive with documented compatibility.

  ServerSupply did a great job getting the parts shipped out, they could earn a 6th star if they applied the latest firmware updates as part of their reconditioning process. Fedex on the other hand decided not to deliver the parts ordered next-day, and we had to go down to the terminal and pick them up to get our servers back on-line. 0 stars for Fedex.

  An item was missing from my order. I reached out via email and phone to get it replaced, but no one responded to my email, and when I called they said they needed to check into it and call me back. I desperately needed the item, so I got tired of waiting and re-ordered the missing item, which I received. They still haven't communicated with me at all, but I just received the replacement item, which I no longer need. I'm glad they made it right by sending the missing item, but the lack of communication was quite frustrating.
