  My RMA was charged some crazy restock fees that was not mentioned. Buying server parts is not guaranteed that it can work with all hardwares, so if returning and getting replacements costs that much for my case over 400 is crazy. I believe that's it for me with server supply.

  They sent an item that did not work. After calling they said to send an email. I sent an email to all the emails listed on their site and nobody replied back. Had to dispute with the credit card company. Also, when buying their site said New, but they sent refurbished. Nonetheless, the item doe snot work and they will not respond back.

  I decided to give serversupply.com a chance for the first time several years ago, and I am glad I did: Do they have genuine, quality server replacement parts? Absolutely; I've bought hard drives, backplanes, cables, and more and everything I have ever received from Serversupply.com has been flawless. The refurbished items I have ordered were received in great condition, and the new items were pristine and packed carefully. But what about great customer support? Yes, they have that too. Even if you never need any additional support after your initial purchase, you'll still appreciate getting tracking information updates sent to you and follow-up care to make sure that everything went smoothly. And if you need more than that, you will find great support options on their site. Well what about competitive pricing? You're probably thinking a place like this can't do all three of these things, right? Well you are wrong, because the pricing is the first thing I noticed when I first shopped at serversupply.com. You'll think it's too good to be true, but when your order arrives you'll be pleasantly surprised to find you've been proven wrong! If they keep this up, I'll be shopping at serversupply.com as long as I'm working with servers, for sure!

  I got the item I purchased, it took its time getting to me, other vendors usually have it sent next business day. Returns is an atrocious process, you have to pay a rather high restocking fee as well as pay to send the item back to them. My colo requires that I have the item picked up as well, so we’re looking at a 15% restocking fee, and about $50 to send the item back. I can confidentially say I will never use this website again.

  Our last few orders were shipped from Westbury as normal as well as from California...it would be helpful to know if products are in stock local (NY) to us versus west coast...it would help to see the availability by location on the site. Often we are dealing with time sensitive repairs and need parts fast...we have no way of knowing if expeditited shipping is req'd.

  I called Server Supply to discuss an exchange of items that were giving me an error code. When I called SS, the man on the phone answered with an attitude. He asked what I need, I told him we wanted to exchange the items because they were saying they were faulty. As soon as he heard this, he said "there's literally no way they could all be faulty". I explained it gave us a message saying they were not compatible, and he laughed and told someone (idk if he was talking to me or a coworker) he said "they're trying to lie to me" while sarcastically laughing... I got my boss involved since he was the one who wanted to do the exchange and as soon as my boss said hello, the SS worker said "there's literally no way they're faulty" instead of letting my boss explain anything. Then when my boss said we were going to send the faulty ones back for an exchange, the SS worker said "no I will absolutely not be doing that" This type of customer service is uncalled for and made a simple process 100x more difficult and ultimately cost a partnership. We do not want faulty products, we had no issue with doing an exchange because we just wanted the parts to function, but we really do not want to be treated like that after we spend thousands of dollars with Server Supply.

  ServerSupply is the Elysian Fields of component shopping experience. To start, and the importance of this cannot be overstated, the actually have what they advertise for purchase. This is huge, and where they separate from the pack of pretenders. Then, they ship fast. Whaddaya mean it's here already? The courier did not understand, "Why is this guy just staring in disbelief at the package I just handed him?" Full Marks!
