  If you have critical data that you have lost, these folks will do everything they can to get it back. Once you send them your broken/corrupt storage media, they waste no time in getting the ball rolling. Jake Gambatese was my rep during the process, and he did a great job of keeping in touch with me. He made sure to let me know what was happening, and kept in frequent communication with me to make sure he had all the information he needed for my data recovery process to go smoothly. In the end they were able to do a full recovery of my data, so I got everything back. The cost may be a bit steep, but if you want to make sure the best care will be taken with your data Secure Data Recovery will have your back. It's well worth it, especially if it's very critical data like it was in my case.

  I contacted Jake Gambatese at Secure Data when my external drive stopped working. I had twenty years' worth of family pictures and countless hours of work enhancing, keywording, and cataloging the images. I have been a graphic designer for 40 years and am very used to technology. This was the first time I needed help recovering unreplasable data. This was not about work that could be redone. These were memories that could not be relived. I knew the problem needed professional assistance. Jake worked with me from beginning to end. He kept me informed at every stage of the process and was very responsive, courteous, and understanding. I am expecting the arrival of a hard drive with restored data in its entirety. I strongly recommend Secure Data.

  These guys were phenomenal! Four years of unbacked up data recovered at a 95% success rate. They were thorough and knowledgable.   We had a drive die in a central office computer and of course had no backup due to circumstances. We contacted Secure Data and our rep, Jason Molinaro, was the most professional, lightning fast rep I've ever worked with! We suspected it was a scam at first, but they're just so fast to get you what you need and they make customer service priority! We just got our data back, and it's copying over as I type as if nothing at all happened. If this happens again, we'll be reaching out to Secure Data.

  Got my data back! I am a videographer who frequently needs to pull archive video footage from previous projects. I had two mirrored drives fail at the same time. I tried everything I could find to recover the data on my own without destoying the drives. When it became clear to me that this was going to require a professional, I found Secure Data Recovery Services. They were able to salvage about a year's worth of archive video files quickly and at a reasonable rate.   I recently used Secure Data to recover a broken external drive with important files. They were able to recover around 80% of the data, which was a relief. Initially, the quoted cost was over $2,000, which was much higher than I could afford. After explaining my situation, they were able to lower the cost to around $850. The overall service was decent, but I felt it was a bit unexpected to have to leave a review to get my recovered data. It would be nice if more transparency and flexibility were part of the process from the start.

  I recently returned from an 8-day trip to northern Ecuador when I went for bird photography. It was a major trip for me. As I usually do, I backed up the photos into a HD, erased the SD cards to reuse. On day 6 I discovered that the HD was no longer discoverable. I tried different cables and computers, with no success. I went to well known computer repair center who referred me to Secure Data Recovery. I mailed in my HD and soon after I heard back from Scott. He was great in communicating with me. Most importantly, he told me that the files were recoverable – what a relief!! He worked with me on getting the best pricing, and I now have thousands of bird photos back in hand. I’ve also learned that I need to back up files in two separate locations. In any event, I absolutely recommend Secure Data Recovery.

  SDR was a great company to work with. I was very stressed about the prospect of losing my files as I had not done a backup on my drive in a while. After initially dropping my hard drive off, I was contacted by Eric the next day to begin the process of recovering my files. Throughout the process, he was informative, quick to respond to questions, and extremely easy to work with. My final cost and time frame for the work matched the estimated values from my quote, which was very nice. It is not an inexpensive process, but you are paying for their expertise, reputation, and customer service and it was all top-notch. It was worth every penny. I would absolutely use them again (although I certainly hope I never have to), and I will make sure to recommend them to anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation.

  I used an expensive SSD for backup. It contained pictures, videos, programs, and files from my 24 years of life. When I connected this external SSD to my desktop, power outages happened all of a sudden. The whole building was in darkness. When the power returned in 4-5 seconds, I turned on my desktop. However, the SSD was dead. I was in a state of chaos, as I had lost all my data from the past 24 years. I was able to find SecureData by web searching. Jake Gambatese called me back immediately after I filled out a form. This friendly expert handled my issue very nicely. Finally, he successfully recovered all of my data, making it 100% perfect. I was very fortunate to find SecureData. Also, thank you very much, Jake!

  The technicians were always quick to respond to any questions I had. It seemed like the longest I waited before they answered the phone was 2 minutes, but usually less than 30 seconds. Their website had detailed notes about my drives, and links to tracking packages in transit. Hopefully I never need to use their services again but if I do need to recover data they will be my first call.

  My laptop suddenly wouldn't start up, just got a blue screen and nothing happening. Took it to one of the big electronic box store's service department but they were not able to even start a recovery process and recommended finding a professional data recovery firm. I found Secure Date Recovery and sent in the hard drive for data recovery. Scott, my account representative at Secure Data was great, he kept me informed about the steps and progress in the recovery process. Secure Data recovered all of my files. There were family photos, spreadsheets and other personal files who's recovery was important to me. Secure Data did a great job and I would use them again and recommend them to others that find themselves in the unfortunate position of potentially losing all of their data

  First of all, this is my first review I have even done for any company. I am writing this because this was so important to me that if I can help anyone else who finds themselves potentially loosing all their life long data and having that instant feeling of utter loss and distress, please take a deep breath and call Secure Data Recovery. I would definitely recommend Secure Data Recovery if you find yourself in the awful situation of a dead drive with all your precious family memories and valuable data. When both my WD RAID 1 Drives failed at the same time, I was extremely upset, worried and nervous. To be totally honest, I was freaking out!!! The feeling got even worst after speaking with the WD customer support who validated that both my drives needed to be sent to a data recovery center HOPEFULLY extract the data safely and securely. The only good news they provided was the phone number of Secure Data Recovery. When I call I was greeted by Scott McMacken, Customer Success Manager. I think it was pretty obvious to Scott I was very concerned both from a data recovery and data security perspective. Scott was very helpful answering all my questions and assuring me that I was in safe hands and was able to calm my nerves. I just received my recovered files today and I couldn't be happier. Moving forward I will keeping my RAID 1 configuration, however, I will be making more frequent backups and putting them in my house safe so that I never need to speak to Scott again (no offense Scott LOL). If you happen to fall victim to a drive failure, please call Secure Data Recovery and ask for Scott... problem solved... Scott, I can't thank you enough, especially now that I can tell my wife all is good now...

  The hard drive crashed on our church computer in May of this year. We had lost all of our data and could not access it. Our computer tech, Ryan, referred us to Secure Data Recovery. Jason Molinaro, as our account representative, help us get 100% of our data back. The time frame seemed a little longer than we had hoped but the hard drive took a lot of work to retrieve the files. Thanks to Jason and Secure Data Recovery of getting our files back for us.

  I had a Seagate removeable 4Tb hard drive that contained decades of data: personal writings, legal documents, pictures, music and video files, etc. I contacted Secure Data Recovery about the possibility of recovering the contents, and was treated respectfully and without delay. They assigned me a case number, but just before senting it to them, I discovered that Seagate offered free warranty data recovery for some of their drives, so after finding out mine was covered, I sent it to them instead. In the meantime, SDR kept my case open until after I heard back from Seagate, with SDR even checking in to see how things were progressing. Seagate claimed they would have an answer in about 4-6 weeks. It took seven weeks to receive the bad news that NOT EVEN ONE file was recoverable because platter damage was too extensive. When setting up with Seagate in the event of no data recovery, I chose to have my defective drive returned instead of receiving a free warranty replacement drive (they would destroy the old one). Upon receiving my old drive back from Seagate, I immediately sent it to Secure Data. Within four days, I received news from Secure Data that there was 1 file they were not able to recover...but over 270,000 files WERE RECOVERABLE! Seagate: 0% data recovery. Secure Data Recovery: 99.99999% recovery! Not all drives can have such a high recovery rate. My drive was only about half full, and the platter damage must have been mostly in empty areas. But why the manufacturer claimed complete loss, tells me all I need to know about warranty "data recovery". Give them a shot, certainly. But if that fails, and you absolutely need to get as much of your data recovered as possible, don't hesitate to reach out to Secure Data Recovery for fast response, and top-notch technological expertise to get the job done, especially when the other data recovery companies fail!

  I had all of my data saved on a back up drive that was six years old. I did not realize back up drives age, and it was my primary backup for important data and sentimental items (like pictures). I had an issue with the drive opening and took it to a local IT specialist. I learned this was more of a hard drive issue and was told I needed someone who specialized in data recovery. I watched a few videos online to see if I could do it myself. The process proved to be very cumbersome, and I quickly realized if I did it wrong, I could possibly lose everything. I found Secure Data Recovery in an online search, and I am so glad I did! At first, I was a little nervous shipping off my information to an unknown entity. I preferred to be able to walk in and talk to someone face-to-face. I called a local data recovery specialist and asked them about their process. I found out they open it up on a workbench in their retail area. I knew from watching videos and having my first conversation with Secure Data Recovery that this was likely not the ideal condition for successful recovery. Jason Molinaro was amazing. He was able to answer all of my questions and then some. He provided valuable links, explained the process, and explained step-by-step how it works. He was very realistic about the amount of data I could lose, but also explained how their facility and their processes maximize data recovery. In comparing my conversation with Jason and the local data recovery company, I realized I had to go with Secure Data Recovery. They made shipping everything to them incredibly easy, and then explained how I would receive it back. I don’t know much about the folks who actually did the data recovery, but I am incredibly grateful for their talent and dedication. They recovered 95% of the data. My preference is for this to never happen again, but I’m happy to know I have such a trusted company to rely on.

  I went to Secure Data to recover multiple terabytes of academic research data from a hard disk drive. I was helped by Scott McMacken, who was extremely professional and patient with the byzantine bureaucracy of the university at which I work. Secure Data is now an official vendor that can be used by all the laboratories at my institution, and I am confident that they will be in good hands if they are ever in need of data recovery services.

  Scott at Secure Data Recovery is a life saver! I am an independent music producer, and was working on the road when I had two external hard drives go down at the same time.   To my immense relief, XXX was able to salvage ALL the data from a hard drive that suddenly quit working. The recovery process took about a week (hard drive had to be sent to a clean room facility), but in the end they saved everything on the dead drive, including the “indexing” info with complete file names and even the custom icons I'd used. Very grateful for their service and I’d definitely recommend them to anyone needing data recovery, especially given their policy of free evaluation.

  They were able to recover most of my data, which is great, however if I had one complaint, it would be that they promised/estimated my data's recovery time would be about 3-5 days, and I ended up getting my data almost 3 weeks later. I honestly wouldn’t have minded the wait, except for the fact that I had a final film project saved on the drive that crashed, and the only reason I agreed to go with them and pay for the premium rate was because they said it would be ready by the time my final was due. But since the drive ended up coming in over 2 weeks later than originally promised, I ended up not getting to turn the final project in on time. Thankfully my teacher understood and gave me a passing grade, but if it weren't for his generosity, I might have been royally screwed over by this extremely late delivery. However, Secure Data Recover did make things right by allowing me to downgrade to the standard price while keeping the premium priority and speed of recovery, so that was very nice and considerate of them. Another thing to mention is that my representative was very fast to respond (a few times a day) before I had agreed to go with them for my data recovery, but once I was locked in to a plan and they were guaranteed their money, then when I would ask questions, I would only get a response at most once a day if not a bit longer. So the communication seems to be great until you agree to pay, then it takes awhile, but at least they still respond and don't just never answer. Overall, the service itself was extremely successful, I got almost all my data back, but the time estimates seem to be very off and will might take much longer than projected, so take that into consideration. If you don't need your data in a serious hurry, then I would definitely recommended.

  I was a little disappointed in the results from the results I received regarding the data recovery. I large percentage of files could not be recovered. I understand that is sometimes the issue, but paying well over $2,000, I was expecting better results.

  The external hard drive that I was using for storage malfunctioned and unfortunately, I could not access any data. I had created a Wildlife YouTube Channel especially for children, and it appeared that all my photos and videos were lost to me.
