  Your company did what it promised, it recovered most (but not all) of my files, in a timely manner. The four stars instead of five has to do with the incredibly complicated, encrypted, pass-word protected digital hard drive that required an app to access. In my opinion, 99% unnecessary. An email password to me should have been sufficient.

  I had a great experience with Secure Data Recovery. My external hard drive crashed and went to a big box chain for help… they said there was nothing recoverable. After a little research I found Secure Data Recovery and was able to ship the hard drive out the next day. I received prompt updates regarding my case from my rep, Timothy Rutan. He answered emails and phone calls quickly and helped walk me through the process. ALL of my files were recovered! Yes, it is pricey, but great piece of mind knowing I have all of my files back!

  This is the second time I have used Secure Data Recovery. Each recovery has been worth it. They have been able to recover all of my pictures from a SIM card. I can't explain why I have such bad luck with my SIM cards but Secure Data Recovery has saved me both times.

  Fast service 100% recovery of a 4 GB drive that simply quit. Was supposed to take 2 weeks, I had my data back in 5 days from initial contact. Friendly and available to communicate whenever I had a question.

  Beware! Services are SUPER EXPENSIVE. That deserves 1 star. SDR delivered as promised, that deserves 5 stars, and within a several weeks, so that rated 3 stars. Average is 3 stars. But cost of service was at prohibitive level except that I had no choice. My impression was that this felt like a ransomware attack only the cost to me was over $4,000 instead of several million$.

I am a sole practitioner lawyer. Ironically, I was in the process of "cleaning" my database in preparation for an upgrade to a cloud-based case management program when my computer CRASHED! I was downright distraught! An IT friend told me about data recovery providers and I found SDR. They were so informing, professional, responsive, and recovered ALL of my data (as far as I can tell)! They were almost twice as expensive as the other companies I checked with, but their excellent handling of my case from the get-go caused me to think they would handle the data recovery as well.   Secure Data Recovery recovered 93% of our damaged external hard drive. Jonathan did a great job of keeping us in the loop with each step in the process. The customer panel was easy to navigate and pay invoices. 5 stars.
