  I experienced a significant loss of valuable memories due to my external hard drive failure. Secure Data Recovery was able to retrieve all my data within a short time. They extracted my files onto a new portable storage device, and delivered it to my home, safely and on time! I am immensely pleased with the outcome, I am very happy!   Scott was so helpful in every step of the process! He was so patient and explained everything a few times until I was comfortable going ahead. I hope I never lose data again but if I do I would definitely use SDR for recovery. The fact that there is no charge in sending your device in to get it evaluated makes it totally risk free! Highly recommended!

  Overall this was a very positive experience. Losing your data is never easy, however from the very beginning Jason from Secure Data Recovery inspired immense confidence that I would be in good hands. The initial phone call was succinct and honest. I did not feel as though I was being over-promised results or given "half-truths". Jason laid out what certain recoveries may require, the assorted costs they may incur, and a guarantee that at least with a diagnostic I could make the final decision to move forward with the recovery or withdraw. With this said, I felt confident that the team could at least do their best to get back what was most important to me. After clear communication throughout the days of their work, I was able to get back 99% of the data I needed. Far more than the 0% I would have had without them. All in all, this was a fantastic service in both technical ability and customer interaction. I would happy to recommend Secure Data Recovery to anyone I know without hesitation.

  My SSD crashed without a DIY solution despite of intensive online search or consulting experienced people. Out of the potential data recover service providers I contacted, Secure Data Recovery has very responsive customer service, central customer service line and local drop-off locations, efficient follow-ups and easy to connect to for questions.   I attempted to upload some photos to my Seagate Free Agent external drive. The drive was showing no power and there was no faint smell of smoke from the port. The sole purpose of this drive was to store family photos and videos so I was concerned and stressed out. I turned to Google to try and find someone that could help. After reading reviews, I chose to call Secure Data Recovery. I was reassured immediately by Eric and he went over the process in a detailed manner. Hoping for the best but expecting the worst I was thrilled when he called me just a few days later to let me know that they had recovered 100% of my files! I highly recommend Secure Data Recovery for your recovery needs.

  Secure Data Recovery deserve 6 stars rather than 5. I had an amazing experience with their professional team. Not only were they able to recover my data, but they were even able to mirror my drive with NO ERRORS so I did not have to reinstall Windows and all my software again, saving me lots of precious time. They saved my personal and business related data when I had no backup. I cannot recommend them enough for their excellent service and customer support.   When my wife's galaxy s22 completely died she was a wreck. I tried for days to get into the phones memory any way I could to recover the irreplaceable pictures and videos which included our wedding and the birth and first 2 years of our first baby's life. I eventually gave up and we lost hope. When I came across Secure Data Recovery I decided it was worth a shot. They were able to quickly recover all of our lost precious memories while keeping us updated every step of the way.   I sent my corrupted SSD to a different company prior to Secure Data Recovery. I was told there was nothing they could do and they didn't even give me the courtesy of telling me what was wrong with it in the first place. SDR told me exactly what the issue was and the steps that needed to be done for recovery. They seemed confident in their ability to recover my SSD and they were successful! Daniel was a pleasure to work with and I appreciate how all our communication was via email as I tend to have difficulty speaking. I very highly recommend!

  I had a I TB external hard drive with one of my photography catalogues that was corrupted . I was fearful that I had lost them. To find only 4 single files ( 4 images) that were corrupted was such a relief after Security Data Recovery Services did their wizardry and in such a short time too. No recovery no charge, other outfits charge for the assessment which infuriated me to say the least!

  Jake Gambatese was an amazing customer service rep. He took care of all my questions, was available all the time and won by business over.   I've posted it in other places, but I really can't say enough positive things about the service I received. They kept in touch with me throughout the entire process, to the point where I didn't have the time to answer all the messages when I was at work they were sending. They recovered 100% of my hard drive, which included things like family pictures and documentation for my professional credentials and liability insurance. I can completely understand why the hard drive manufacturer recommended these guys. I would highly recommend Secure Data Recovery to anyone needing data off a dead drive. By the way, did I mention that they got it done in about half the time they thought it would take? Just an incredible service.

  I worked with Kyle as our organization's personal and specific account manager. This was very helpful so as to not have to repeat our specific case and situation over and over as we communicate throughout the days or weeks. He was very prompt, detailed, and transparent in every step of the way when it came to pricing and plan options, logistics, shipping, returns, and more. He was easily reachable via email and phone. I have been told our specific type of hard drive is different than the usual which can make for a more challenging repair, and yet this company had done a Full Recovery status, and ahead of scheduled time as well at no extra cost or charge. The entire experience of being a customer with this company has been nothing short of seamless and exceptional. We even had a tricky technology logistics situation with regards to the Affirm financing platform, and even through that they were very excellent in dealing with and navigating through it. I would 100% recommend going with Secure Data Recovery to anybody who needs to avail of this type of service.

  Our regular back ups on our server somehow skipped a lot of files, somewhere along the lines. Our "Passport" back up drives, about 5 and 8 years old, turned out both damaged and failed. Since they were similar or identical I sent one to SDR for evaluation. They basically got the files off there. Their service was great. I would say they were more prompt than on my side. Thanks.

  I was really in a panic when I lost my files but Jake G was a very quick responded and was able to recover THOUSANDS of files that were needed for work.   We worked with Jake Gambatese as our liaison to the data recovery team and he was AMAZING. Our situation was a curious one, Raid 5 with an iscsi target vhdx connected to vCenter as a Datastore and hosting our file server vmdk (woo for acquisitions). The iscsi connection had a mishap and the error recovery re-initialized the vhdx as a gpt partition. Secure Data kept in close communication with us during the process and verified that the data they saw is what we needed. Thank you so much for your attentiveness, personable conversation, and all-around professionalism! 10/10 I'd recommend this team to anyone with data loss!

  Severely damaged android phone recovery. My phone was extremely damaged after falling off a pickup truck and then run over by another vehicle. Due to various reasons, I was not backing up my data and most importantly my photos for over a year of events and some fairly decent size home projects. I was definitely disappointed and felt the pictures were lost forever. I found there were numerous occasions where I wanted to reference and share pictures of our family and all the stages of our project, but wasn't able to since they were on that phone. I checked online for recovery services numerous times, only to leave skeptical about the other places' credibility and ability to do the recovery. When I had found Secure Data Recovery, I felt I had found my solution! Needless to say, everything worked out great using their services and although I hope to not need their assistance again, I now know who I can count on for data recovery!

  Excellent service. Secure Data Recovery Services was able to recover data from a damaged USB drive well ahead of their estimated time frame. There were a few files that were damaged and not recoverable, but over 99% of the files were recovered. The company ensured that I was fully aware of the challenges that sometimes arise from recovery, and they conducted a free preliminary diagnosis to determine the exact issues with the drive prior to sending a quote for services.   If you have ever lost photos, letters and home records you know the feeling of that gut punch. Secure data with the help of Eric Fisher, were able to recover all of my photos, memories, videos, special voice messages and data from storage drive. It was hard to send out the drive to a company and just hope for the best, however Secure data kindly walked me through the process and all the reviews were highly rated.   I lost access to my thumb drive while backing it up to another one. I had been using this thumb drive as my work drive to save space on the laptop. I decided it was time to make a backup of it for safe keeping. The laptop lost power, then started rebooting during the backup process. By then the thumb drive was no longer recognized. No access to the files on the drive. These were files I use for Boy Scout programs, and event planning with Eagle Scouts. So there is a lot of budgets and planning history accumulated. I called Scott McMacken at Secure Data Recovery who assured me that they had experience with thumb drives, and they would do the best they could to get the data back. It did take awhile, but Secure Data kept in touch during that time. If I had a question on how the work was progressing, Scott was right there to answer. When the work was done they emailed me a detailed list of the files they were able to recover. The data came back on a new thumb drive with the recovered files. I was over joyed! Now I don't have to re-create all the Boy Scout templates and budgets that we have been using for over a couple of years. I am revising my work processes for storage and backup. Thanks so much to Scott and the engineers at Secure Data!!

  Was able to recover all of my data on my external hard drive that failed after a power surge in my building. I chose this company based on reviews and proximity to me. I also chose them as there isn't a fee for diagnosis and if they can't recover the data (so they must be sure they can recover it). Process was simple: contact them, drop off the hard drive at the local depot and they send it off for diagnosis. After several phone calls with Jason and sign offs, they transferred onto a hard drive to return to me. I only wish that there were more transparency in terms of pricing (e.g. itemizing of costs, potential range of costs, factors that make the service more expensive) so that I could budget more easily for the expense in USD, as it was more than double what I had anticipated based on my initial conversations. But everything works, so I can't complain. Timeline was 2 wks from when I dropped off the hard drive, though I selected the slowest service. Learned my lesson though, have multiple back ups in case one fails!

  Contacted them after checking their reviews on Reddit / Yelp. Great experience from the beginning. They offer drop-off locations in all major cities. Free shipping to their main Office, plus free Evaluation of Data. No charge until they determine the extent of recovery. They also gave me an online directory link to my entire drive- with all subfolders and files, which was very helpful. Brought the price down when I told them I couldn't afford the original quote. Very satisfied, and I wouldn't say this unless I went through it myself.

  The short version: 5 STARS for excellent service and attention. The details: I didn't believe the kind of customer service that Eric Fisher and the Secure Data team provide existed today with automated systems and "Press one for this, two for that" that are the norm. Handing over my external drive at a local shop in Miami was very convenient, and Eric contacted me by phone personally to go over the process and some options once it was on its way. He also kept in touch by email to make sure the recovery went smoothly. My sister gave me this drive full of family photos years ago, and I hesitated until now. I've had a difficult year in which her help and support have been invaluable, and I cannot think of a better Christmas present for her. I cannot wait until she opens the box.   Scott was great in helping us recover our data. The recovery rate was very high, over 99% for a 1TB disk. Communication throughout the whole process was really good. Even though we selected a slower recovery timeline the lab was able to get the data back well before the target date. There were no hidden fees. Even though I hope to never get data recovered again, I would not hesitate to use their services again should that need arise.

  Secure Data Recovery was able to rescue my lost data! For unknown reasons my hard drive started to give logical errors and eventually crashed and died. I 'lost' almost 1.5 Terabytes of data that included lots of photos, music, videos and very important digital documents and I had no recent back up. The 'recent backup' I had was at least 6 months old and that it didn't include any new data I had on the dead hard drive. A quick Google search directed me to Secure Data Rescue and their success rate along with the reviews convinced me to give them a try. Eric Fisher was fantastic throughout this process and was very knowledgeable! He was very quick with answering questions, giving updates on the process and was very patient with my fears about the data recovery. Secure Data Recovery was able to rescue virtually all of my data, their skilled technicians worked their experience on the dead hard drive. The lab shipped the data on a handy external encrypted hard drive that will serve as a new back up of my data. The shipping was fast, I was delighted to receive the device so quick and very eager to restore the data to a new drive and place everything in order. I highly recommend their services and will definitively contract Secure Data Recovery if anything happens to my data in the future!
