    I have tried this daily sometimes twice. i always get scolded for not following the music which is not music during the inhaling period. I tried to count, I tried absolutely everything fro. number 1-4. the voice keeps sending me back to the tutorial. Please let me know how to return it all! The concept is wonderful, but you need to come up with a different ihaling sound to prepare me for the exhale portion. There inhale timing is very clea, the tones prepare me for the coming inhale prt, but not approaching the end of inhale!

    Most of the time the sensor does not work. I need to look up the return policy. It regularly takes 30 minutes for the device to pick up my breathing pattern, if it does at all. I am disappointed. I owned a Resperate about 12 years ago and it did not have this problem.

    Customer service was great. I am rating the product. I have a high respiratory rate. The device expects that the patient will be able to slowly lower their respiratory rate to 8 breaths per minute in one sitting, then keep it there for 10 minutes. I could not lower my respiratory rate to 8 breaths per minute without holding my breath. I hoped that the device had settings that would allow me to slowly get to 8 breaths after a few weeks or even months. I called customer service for instructions. I was told that changing settings is not possible, and that I should return the device. I had high hopes and am very disappointed.

    Excellent customer service. I had a problem with the sensor belt, and they sent me advice to fix it, and finally, after that advice did not work, they sent a replacement for the sensor belt. I was highly impressed with their determination to make it right and with the resperate device as a whole.

    This is my first week using Resperate. The Company contacted me wanting to know the stats of my first week.     I have only had my Resperate for two weeks. Delivery was as expected. The instructions and videos are quite clear and helpful. They make the customer service number readily available, which I appreciate, but I haven't needed anything. They say it takes 3-4 weeks to see results so it's too early to know. It truly is a breathing workout for me but as I'm getting to know the machine, it's increasingly relaxing. I nearly died of Covid/double pneumonia about 18 months ago. I think this lung exercise will help with healing in my lungs, too.

    All aspects of this company have been fantastic. From making buying easy, the customer service and the quality is excellent. Although the tech on the device is a bit dated, it serves its purpose. Have been using for about 3 weeks and has already made a difference in BP readings. Looking forward to to 6 weeks to verify that it can actually do what the comtclaims. My BP would be between 128/85 and 147/92 during highs times and now I’m about 137/85 for high time of the day. No medications in conjunction.

    I used the ApplePay, but there was a mix up with an old address. When the product was sent back, the company didn’t reach out to me for a new address either by phone or email. My original product sent email was sent to junk so took a while to receive my order. I did finally get my order and have only had it for one week. I do love the product so far.

    I've only used it 3 or 4 times, but I'm not impressed at this point. I just used it and was constantly getting message to tighten the belt and then loosen the belt. The instructions were so distracting and irritating, I couldn't concentrate on the music or breathing.

    How is breathing with guiding tones supposed to bring down high blood pressure? What is the goal for breathing? The tones keep me in the 6’s but one of your testimonies said he was in the 3’s. If I try to go lower it tells me I am not in sync. Am I supposed to try to breathe slowly all day long?

    I really like the system and find it easy to follow the breathing patterns; only thing that takes a little getting used to is tightening or loosening the sensor belt when instructed. I'm never quite sure if i've tightened it enough or not enough, possible because i am overweight in the belly area.

    Likely a very good product for someone who naturally breaths rapidly. However for someone like me who naturally breathes slowly, this device couldn't track my breathing and always became very erratic. The suggestions I was given when I asked for guidance didn't help at all. Not for slow breathers!

    I find the breathing notes annoying but not as annoying as the man who demands I breath in and breath out. I concentrate hard to follow the cues and if I get off I get scolded and told to go to the tutorial. It is not relaxing. It is not fun. I spent way too much and it has not improved my blood pressure one bit.

    The jury is still out as it is still premature to render a fair review. I've been using the device for about one week. I do believe slow breathing is inexpensive and easy to do and my first option before meds. I cannot say RESPeRATE can significantly lower my blood pressure as the proof is not there yet. But the device is great to use, very calming and relaxing. I need to give it more attention and avoid distractions (ie TV, computer, etc.). My best results are when I am 100% in total focus while doing the sessions and not to multitask at all.

    I've returned it. Couldn't really stay in sink with the suggested breathing. Probably because of my asthma - although it's pretty light right now after I stopped eating dairy 20 years ago. Still on one med though. Also vegan for 4 years.

    It’s takes 20- 25!minutes for the machine to learn you breath pattern. Once machine learns it to tight or to lose its to much time and work. Not user friendly. The part that gages the breath should have a better sensor. I am returning it. More frustrating then anything else

    They will do everything they can to keep your money and hard for you to cancel an order. If you try to cancel your order one minute after making, they say it already shipped and it will cost you more to send it back. They punish you for canceling.

    Website was a challenge. Had a sensor belt issue and was very impressed with customer service. The person I spoke to was very knowledgeable and pleasant. A new sensor belt was sent to me. Customer service was kind enough to give me some tips on how to use the old sensor belt to get it to work until the new one arrived. All in all very impressed with the customer service. Also, impressive was how quickly customer service responded to my initial call. So far really enjoy the device.

    Good instructions, easy to understand how to breathe properly. The firsrt mistake I made I would take a depeer breath than normal so that I would not run out of air when I would exhale.     The Resperate is great to use, very calming and relaxing. I started off with one session per day and found myself going for two. I have been using it late afternoon and early evening after I have wound down from the day, and find that is most rewarding.     I'm sure this review will never see the light of day, but here goes. In short, my experience has been miserable. The crux of the issue is the breathing sensor operation. I'm inundated with constant alternating verbal prompts to "loosen the sensor belt" and "tighten the sensor belt" one after the other when I've barely had a chance to touch the belt let alone adjust it. No adjustment will satisfy the system. That is raising my blood pressure rather than lowering it. This thing is going back

    I have only had the machine for about 3 weeks. That time frame is really not a good measuring point I don't feel. Honestly it doesn't seem like it's doing any good, but like I said it is early in the game. I will not send it back I intend on keeping it, even if it just gives me a 15-20 minute time frame for a relaxing experience similar to meditation.

    I have a question : there is a sound instruction for breathing pattern. There are 3 (three) rhythms : high, moderate and low. Do I need to follow whenever it's guiding during breathing inhale, exhale. For example, when its high tone comes out, I inhale deepth and when it is low, I inhale NOT deepth, and the same inhale occurs when moderate mode is sounding. For the last 7 days (twice a day), my breathing/ minute is 4.8, as always. Am I following the right path? Thank you and am waiting for your response.

    I love this machine. I've only used it a short time but I can feel myself being able to relax. One small problem for me and the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5, the spindle on the breathing sensor broke when I plugged it in and missed the hole. Should be made of sturdier materials. That being said, I would definitely recommend it for stress reduction.

    Device works well...after three weeks, however, I see no reduction in Blood Pressure at all. Hopefully, this will start happening in the next couple of weeks. I do 2 15 minute sessions daily. Fell asleep during 3 sessions recently...these throw off the stats quite a bit. It would be nice to be able to delete them and do over.

    I absolutely LOVE my Respirate! Its literally saving my life. It is easy to use and very restorative. I am so much more aware of how I breath and how frenetic and frantic it is all day long. But when i use Respirate it helps me to slow down and regain my balance and clarity. I highly recommend it for anybody with high blood pressure, debilitating anxiety or panic. Great invention great product!
