    BP is making progress after a few weeks. I would like a better manual, that explains breathing techniques and why. It's a little hard to follow the music at times.

    Recently noticed my BP was on the high side first thing in the morning. It became more concerning when it was still on the high side later in the day. I found Resp Rate online and did a bit of research as I was skeptical that a breathing exercise would lower my BP. I've been using Resp Rate once a day in the morning for two weeks. After one week my BP was close to an acceptable range in the morning before my Resp Rate session. Much to my surprise after my session my BP drops 10 to 15 points and is in a non hypertension state. The sessions go fast and the use of the device is simple. I'm looking forward to my results over the next month!

    I have only had my equipment for about a week. I will look forward to giving an updated review, once I’ve had the use of it for a few months. So far, I can say that the Resperate works as indicated. I’ve had very little trouble in using the equipment; and I’ve noticed a decrease in my stress (in spite of stressful circumstances). It is very relaxing, and I think has improved my sleep at night, as well.

    It is great to have access for help with high blood pressure. Using the machine helps me to calm down which is really helpful to lower blood pressure...I have had the machine about 2 1/2 weeks so I don't know how things will progress but can tell a difference in myself...more con fident...more hope of getting better.

    in less then a week, my blood pressure went from 169/89 to this evening 125/77. Having high blood pressure scare the heck out of me. I'm doing well, my fear was if I don't do something, my goals are gone. I am so happy i found this wonder little machine, Resp Rate.     I have been using Resperate for almost two weeks now. It took me about a week to get used to the breathing exercises (breathing normally while the machine was tracking my breaths per minute). Once I was able to sync my breathing properly I have definitely seen an improvement in my BP numbers, especially my systolic, which has been the number that tends to be higher for me. My systolic was running 150-170. It’s now starting to run 130-135. What I also appreciate about Resperate is it helps with my anxiety, I feel more relaxed after my sessions. I will definitely keep using it. My numbers are almost where I want them to be. I’m happy with my results and my purchase!

    I bought the Resperate machine for my wife. She enjoys using it, finding it to be very relaxing and like a breath-oriented meditation practice. It may never be possible to definitively ascertain its effect on her blood pressure, as she is simultaneously using several herbal remedies for that condition, but she believes that the relaxation attendant on Resperate use could only help lower her blood pressure readings.

    I received my unit in the time frame expected. The unit is well made. I have been practicing yoga and am familiar with breathing techniques, especially those those that slow down exhale. That said, I still decided to keep the unit as it provides accountability. I really enjoy using it. It is so soothing.

    They didn't bother to use the full shipping address on the paypal transaction so I never received the item as it was returned to them due to incomplete address. I sent them 4 emails to the support address listed and NEVER even got a response. Finally disputed item with paypal and got a refund. The customer service is useless do not trust this company.

    I'm still waiting for them to refund my money after I sent documents that they got the device back ,they want me to call the bank and cancel the dispute to refund the money.Citbank disagree all supporting documents sent to Citibank and Respirate. They should evaluate their device to make it user friendly and that the automatic voice saying I'm ot following instructions after using it for 4 days same way.That's frustrating.

    I ordered it on 18 December and received it on 21 December. I’ve used it every day except for one day and only because I was traveling that day. I actually have to admit it has helped my blood pressure even the short time I’ve been using it and it’s extremely addictive. I can’t wait to use it every day.     RESPeRATE was delivered quickly. Usage instructions were well written and straightforward. The sensor is can be adjusted to accommodate thorax size and is comfortable to wear. RESPeRATE features guided instructions with easily understood verbal cues to adjust breathing to the therapeutic zone.     Today is the 3rd day of using Resperate. The delay has been because I have been reading the information, and watching the videos. But, I was soooo pleased to, and soooo hopeful that the numbers I got today after my Resperate excercise my systolic numbers actually went down by 10 points. That made me so happy. I hope you give me the opportunity to rate you again after the 6th week. By the way, I'm a 77 year old woman whose been suffering with hypertension since my 50's, and unfortunately, my body develops a tolerance for the needs after a couple of years. So, yes, m I'm extremely hopeful of Resparate.

    I have been using resperate for close to a year so I figured it’s about time for a review. This machine along with quitting caffeine has helped me tremendously! I didn’t buy it for blood pressure as mine runs fairly low. I have been using it to regulate my nervous system and cannot believe what a difference 20 mins a day can make.     I can only respond from the ordering component at this time. The response time from placing the order to updates to receiving was very timely, effricient, and appreciated. It is a christmas present. Once it is set up and trialed I will be glad to provide an opinion. However, given the raviews it is to be anticipated to be a wonderful product and be of great good to many. As a chiriopractic physcian for over 27 years, the teaching of breath and breathing is not new.     Folks, I always knew that it may take time. I am continuing to make the effort. Realizing I have 60 days to prove its value to me is calming. I have started seeing positive results as I become more comfortable with the equipment. I have lowered my final breathing rate to 3.6, for the first time below four, and feel very good about it. I aim to use it at least once daily, and I am close to my goal. I keep extensive records, so if it is helpful to you, I can send you a copy of the datasheet.     Having Resperate is so important to me. It has given me hope (and results) in lowering my blood pressure in just 3 weeks. I am thrilled with these results and I know they will continue to get even better. While I know I don't have to, I have been using the Resperate daily. I look forward to that part of my morning practice. I notice my oxygen level is even better. I feel more refreshed. I find I am breathing deeper during the day when I pause to notice.     I have used the RESPeRATE Guided Breathing Device for 7 weeks now. At the time I started to use this device my blood pressure was considered 'controlled' at a level of approximately 115/70. However, my goals (to reap further potential health benefits) were to attain a blood pressure of of less than 110/70.     It was easy to order the product and it arrived in a timely manner. The reason I am giving it 5 stars is because I think the product is really helping me reduce my blood pressure. I’ve used it daily since I received it and my blood pressure has dropped to normal (120/80) most of the time with only a high of (135/88) on occasion. I was skeptical at first so I made sure to keep the packaging just in case for the 69 day return policy. I don’t think I will be returning. Plus using respirate is really relaxing.

    I’m getting irritated by the constant “move the sensor” and “unable to verify your breathing” messages. The first two times I used it, it worked perfectly. After that, I almost have to hyperventilate to get it to synchronize and allow me to begin the exercise. Admittedly, I’m not a small person, but if you have a large chest and/or you tend to to take long, slow, deep breaths, prepare to be annoyed.

    I have been using the device a little over a week now and there is a bigger learning curve than I expected in using it "correctly". It would be nice to have a couple more selections for breathing "in/out" i.e. continue the vocal mnemonic words "breathe in, breathe out" and/or inhale / exhale breathe sounds. The other area the elastic strap holding the sensor to the torso be a little more "stout". I'm sure as I use more I'll get better at it.

    I ordered resperate on their website and it was declined first so I ordered again and it went through, twice. I don’t know what happened but I don’t need 2 of them so I called the customer service number and someone named Brian answered.     I've been using the Desperate blood pressure device for the past three days, and I must say, it has been a surprisingly calming and relaxing experience.     I tried Resperate as soon as I received it in the mail. I tried to use the tutorial but kept getting a "loosen the sensor" message. I tried again to use it over several days with the same results. I finally went to the reviews and one of the responders had the same problem. He had contacted Resperate and received a new sensor. I contacted Resperate and talked to a not too friendly representative who was questioning my problem but finally asked for the serial # of the sensor. I received the new sensor today (7/29/24) and it works fine. I cannot comment on it's effectiveness to lower BP yet but I am optimistic. It is relaxing.

    I received my Resperate 8 days ago and set it up that day. Since then, I used it six days in a row. It seems to be having some affect. Once I got impatient with being told to breathe evenly so I quit until later that day. I skipped the 7th day. Early on the 8th day I didn't get into the therapeutic zone for 15 minutes so quit until the next time I try. I've been in the therapeutic zone six times for 12-15 each time. My synchronization rate (which is supposed to be 60% or more) peaked at 27% after the 2nd day and has progressively decreased since then to 14% (whatever that means). It appears I've got another day or two before the last 7 days' minutes go back below 40. The jury is out!

    I've been using Resperate for 6 weeks and 4 days. One major problem I have is that I'm just in week 7 and I'm getting information for week 9. I have informed Resperate Support of the fact that I'm lagging behind about 2 weeks, but they just keep on sending new information. They are not letting me catch up. I feel like they are trying to rush me through rather than take into account when I started using Resperate. The reason that it's important is because some information is time sensitive and the links will disappear after a time and you can't get to the information. I feel that I'm doing OK, but I don't think I have the breathing down. My breathing rate during a session jumps around when I get down to the 5 and 6 breaths per minute. I've gotten down to 3.6 breaths per minute, but I don't know how. I feel that I can breathe in and out longer, but the tones change. Overall, I feel that I am getting benefit from using Resperate but I feel that I could get more if I was using it better.

    It has caused my blood pressure to drop dramatically. I have been using it daily since 3/31/24. Disconcertingly, on 5/14, 5/20, and 5/24, the breathing tone has suddenly escalated from 6 or 9 to a rate of 12 or 13 breaths/minute, which is out of the therapeutic breathing zone. This is absolutely undesirable. I have made 2 calls to Resperate, but I haven't gotten a fix yet. If this is, unfortunately, the best Resperate can work, I think I am better off doing my best to ignore the breathing tone rate jump, rather than doing without Resperate.
